Ed D'Amato will present a program on Spanish coins.
Thanks in advance to Ed D'Amato for volunteering to stump
us with an unusual “Mystery Item.” 2013 officer elections
will also be held. Nominations will be taken from the floor.
The person being nominated has to agree to accept.
It’s time to start thinking about what dish you’ll bring to
share at the Annual Holiday Party on December 13. We’ll
have a sign-up sheet at the November meeting.
Also, our Holiday Committee Meeting needs volunteers.
That meeting is scheduled for November 14 at 7 pm at Gail
Hoskins's house. Sign up sheet with details will be available
at the meeting.

"We have a clue for you, you have to exit on either 6th or
10th to get on the road that goes to the water blue"
When driving toward the water blue, don’t cross the bridge,
too. Look south and you will find the Park-North, with lots
of shade at the front where you can park free.
If you park in the morning, you will have more shade. Go
east young man (or lady), past the band shell to find your
fortune. (With apologies to Horace Greeley).
Best Finds Alert: Bring any platinum found from the
meeting in July 2012 through to the meeting in
The buried item is a small brown medicine container filled
with clad coins.

Bob will be remembered
.... for his great finds:
"To fly west, my friend, is a flight we all must take for the final
check." author unknown
Bob, age 84, made his final flight after suffering from a
cerebral hemorrhage. He had a long career has an airline
pilot for United Airlines. After retirement, he traded his
airline captain's hat for a sailboat captain's hat and sailed the
Caribbean. After 15 years at sea, he then settled in Boynton
Beach. His passion for metal detecting began after his wife,
Jan, joined the Gold Coast Treasure Club in 2004. Bob began
mastering various metal detectors. His competitive nature
quickly earned him recognition for his finds - winning
monthly and yearly best finds in addition to Treasure Hunter
of the Year in 2006. The last few years of his life presented
him health challenges that made detecting difficult for him.
He returned to his love of flying by building and flying
remote control aircraft.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jan; his daughter, Amber;
grandson, Alexander Josef and step children, Andrea, Ginny
.... for his random acts of kindness by returning lost
items to their rightful owners
gold diamond ring
gold toe ring
.... for his infamous statement that won him a dubious
award: “Charge for any kid off the Nipple”
