THE MONTHLY NEWSLETTER OF THE GOLD COAST TREASURE CLUB, INC.
VOLUME 37 NUMBER 10

IN WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
OUR CODE OF ETHICS: HAVE PERMISSION AND DO NO HARM

OCTOBER MEETING

OCTOBER CLUB HUNT

Frank Nash will present a program on how to hunt for
micro jewelry using the Fisher Gold Bug 2. In addition to
demonstrations, some tips from Tom Dankowski's newest
video will be shown. The DVD, Metal Detecting Real World
Techniques Beach and Swimming Hole Hunting, will be
available for purchase.
Thanks in advance to Tom Lieberman for volunteering to
stump us with an unusual “Mystery Item.” Since Steve
Hoskins will not be making this meeting, a substitute
photographer is needed. To volunteer, contact Linda Bennett.

Since the club hunt in September was cancelled due to
personal issues for the hunt master, we will try again for a
road trip to South Beach on Sunday, Oct. 28. Please meet at
6:00 a.m. Not only does this allow time to hunt before the
crowds arrive, it will save us money on parking since the
meters do not have to be fed till 9 a.m. Usually after the
allotted time to hunt and tallies are done, brunch is enjoyed at
a local restaurant.
Our meeting place will be at Lummus Park at Ocean and 10th.
Take I-95 to Miami. Exit onto I-395, which will become 5th
Street. At Ocean Drive, turn left and proceed to 10th and Ocean
Drive. Parking will be on the right hand side of the street at the
curb. Be sure you park in a designated parking space.

JOIN US EARLY AT P.A. BBQ!
Join fellow club members for dinner in the back room of P.A.
BBQ at 5:15 p.m. before the meeting. Dutch treat!
Park Avenue BBQ & Grille
2401 N. Dixie Hwy (US 1), Lake Worth, Florida

RAFFLE
The next club raffle is a Kodak waterproof camera
(donated by John Presslein) and a book "Historic Photos of
PB County". There will be two winners. Spots are $1 each.
