TARYN O’REILLY

Board

President

Taryn O’Reilly is Vice President of Client Financing and Firm
Funding Strategy at Morgan Stanley. Taryn holds a BS in
Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University.
She first became involved with NAC through pro bono
consulting work with the agency in 2014. Taryn joined the
NAC Young Professionals in February 2015, becoming the
Fundraising Co-Chair in September 2015, and is a founding
member of the NAC Junior Board.

TIM FREYDBERG

FUN FACT:
Taryn lived in Budapest, Hungary
for 6 months on a work assignment. During her time in Europe
she was able to travel to more
than 20 countries. Taryn continues to spend any time off from
work exploring the world!

Vice President

Tim Freydberg is a Senior Associate specializing in tenant
representation at CBRE. Tim, his wife Jaclyn, and their 7 lb
Pomeranian live in New York City and enjoy going to the
beach, traveling, and helping NAC kids as much as they can.

Tim enjoys exploring the diverse

City, and will try anything...except

Treasurer

Philip Tejeda is a Senior Associate at CohnReznick, LLP, and is
part of the firm’s Not-for-Profit and Education industry
practice. Philip also serves as the co-captain of the firm’s volleyball team and volunteers with other not-for-profit organizations through the firm’s Social Impact Committee. He holds a
BS in Accounting and Finance from Ithaca College, and is a New
York State Certified Public Accountant and member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

EMMA TUZINKIEWICZ

FUN FACT:
Philip is a musician and enjoys
playing the flute, piccolo,
clarinet, alto-saxophone, and
piano.

Secretary

Emma Tuzinkiewicz is the ESG Project Coordinator at KKR,
where she supports the management of environmental,
social, and governance (ESG) issues and opportunities across
KKR’s investment process and portfolio. A recent graduate of
Columbia College at Columbia University, Emma earned a BA
focusing her studies on Sustainable Development and
Spanish. She also completed courses at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima, Perú during this time.

FUN FACT:
Emma thrives on the buzz and
bustle of New York City. She
recently ran the NYC Marathon,
and you can frequently find her
roller blading or Citibiking along
the Hudson River Park.

LANA BELAYA
Lana Belaya is an Associate at the Office of COO and Head
of Risk Management for Private Markets at Morgan Stanley
Investment Management. During her four years at Morgan
Stanley, Lana has worked on various strategic organizational, operational, and regulatory initiatives as a part of the
Global Business Operations group. She holds a BBA in
Finance, Investments and Economics from Zicklin School of
Business at Bernard M. Baruch College.

FUN FACT:
Lana speaks Russian and loves body
building.

DAVID BRIGLEB
David Brigleb is an associate attorney at DLA Piper LLP (US),
where he handles real estate transactional matters for
clients. David holds a BBA in finance from The College of
William and Mary, and a JD from Boston University School of
Law. He has been involved with NAC since July 2017 as a
member of the Junior Board, after becoming involved with
the organization through a colleague.

FUN FACT:
David is an avid skier and has been
skiing in more than fifteen different
places, and hopes to add many
more to that list!

ASHLEY DAVIS
Ashley Davis is the Educational Director of the Park Slope
Schoolhouse, a non-profit early childhood program. Ashley
holds a BS in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse
University, a Masters of Arts in Early Childhood Special
Education from New York University, and a Masters in
Administration/Supervision from Hunter College. Her
passion for working with children and families began as a
young adult when she coached the Special Olympics Swim
Team and took them to the World Games.

FUN FACT:
Ashley has an adorable Cavapoo
puppy who was featured in a recent
Vogue Magazine issue that was
dedicated to animals.

EMILY GUTMAN
Emily Gutman is part of the Risk Assurance practice at
PricewaterhouseCoopers with a focus in Entertainment,
Media and Communications. Emily holds a BS in Business
Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the
University of Vermont. As a part of her studies, she spent a
semester abroad in London, England at City University’s
Cass Business School. Emily joined NAC in 2017 and is
excited to continue her involvement.

FUN FACT:
Emily has been skiing since she was
three years old, and was a ski
instructor at Sugarbush Resort in
Vermont. She hopes to save up
enough vacation days in the next
year to plan a ski trip to Europe.

ANN HELGERSON
Ann Helgerson is a Senior Marketing Manger at
McGraw-Hill Education. Ann holds a BA in English from
James Madison University. She began her volunteer work
with NAC over seven years ago as a founding member of
the NAC Young Professionals, and became the Fundraising
Co-Chair in September 2015. Ann is now a founding
member of the NAC Junior Board and has also volunteered
with the Coalition for the Homeless and New York Cares.

FUN FACT:
Ann studied in Paris, France for four
months in college, which solidified a
minor in French as well as obsessions with food, wine, and travel
(though the obsessions have
substantially outlasted her mastery
of the French language).

TORIE RUNZEL
Torie Runzel is Director of Operations at T-REX. She is responsible for managing global operations, finance/accounting,
recruiting/HR, PR/marketing, Board/investor relations, and
special projects within the company. She joined T-REX in the
summer of 2014 after founding and then selling her own
company, DivvyDown. She holds a BA from Vanderbilt
University. Torie Runzel first volunteered with NAC in 2016
and now serves on the NAC Junior Board.

FUN FACT:
Torie has a 100 lb fluffy dog, Q
Bone, who is known as “The
Mayor” in her building.

ARVIND SINGH
Arvind Singh is a Senior Consultant with Dixon, Hughes, &
Goodman LLP in the area of Risk Advisory. He has held
positions at HomeServe, AIG, and Alliance Bernstein. Arvind
also spent time as a research associate working on sustainable
tourism projects in India and Tanzania. He holds an MBA in
Finance and Management from Fordham, and an MS in
Economic Development Via Sustainable Tourism from Boston
University. He has been involved with NAC since 2009 as a
volunteer, and was a member of the NAC Young Professionals.

FUN FACT:
Arvind is a huge Yankees fan and
has been lucky enough to attend
several memorable playoff games
since 1996.

JAKE WALKO
Jake Walko is an Associate on BlackRock's Investment
Stewardship team where he covers the Technology and Real
Estate spaces. Jake holds a BA in Economics, an MA in
International Relations, and has earned the Claritas Investment Certificate from the CFA Institute. He has also
published academic work in the field of political psychology
and leadership. Jake has been involved with NAC since 2014
and co-chairs networking and recruitment efforts as a
member of the Junior Board.

FUN FACT:
Jake loves architecture and hopes
to learn every building in the New
York City skyline.
