I am currently a PhD. composition student studying under the supervision of George Benjamin at
King’s College London. My work in composition thus far has primarily been focused in the area
chamber music. The proposed thesis of my PhD involves consolidating and reconciling aspects of
systematized and extemporized compositional procedures. In addition to this central medium I also
have compositional practices in the fields of electroacoustic music, music for film and dance, popular
music and commercial music. I have received two degrees in composition and have worked with a
number of professional, graduate and amateur ensembles and orchestras. In 2016 I won the Ivan
Juritz Prize for Creative responses to Modernism.
