Welcome to Gothenburg
and Göteborg International Biennial for
Hoping you will enjoy the city and find the artistic proposals relevant, we
have gathered a few information to guide your visit.
The 9th edition of Göteborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art
(GIBCA), titled WheredoIendandyoubegin - On Secularity, is
curated by Nav Haq and presents works by more than 50 artists in various
locations in Gothenburg, investigating the possibility to maintain or create
equal rights and freedoms in situations of stark cultural differences.
In this investigation process we received the support of local initiatives
and integrated the artistic projects in the life of the city.
Please use the digital map to discover all venues for the biennial, as well as
helpful information on transportation, recommendations of restaurants
and other attractions in Gothenburg.
To reach the city from Landvetter airport you can take the airport coach to
the central station. From here trams no 3 and 9 will bring you to Röda
Sten Konsthall. Tram 3 will take you to Göteborgs Konsthall.
You can plan your journey in the city using http://www.västtrafik.se or by
