Design & Features
SoundBot SB571 is available in various colours to choose from – Black/Black, Blue/Blue, Black/Red, Red/Red,
Black/Silver and Grey/Grey. SoundBot SB571 is an incredibly lightweight and small for a speaker with 12w
output. It weighs 340 grams and is small enough to hold it in your palm. The body feels like rubberised plastic
with a metal grill in front. The metal grill has a staggered diamond design which looks something like Jawbone
Jambox bluetooth speaker.
The speaker has a conventional rectangular design with the operating buttons on the top. It has six circular
buttons for play/pause, next track, previous track, volume up, volume down and answer/decline calls. The
buttons are conveniently placed on the top but it was much better if they were a little more tactile. Sometimes it’s
hard to know if the button has triggered. The LED indicator turns red when it is being charged and blue when

On the back side we have on/off button, USB charging port, and aux input port. There are quite a few reasons to
say aux input is a useful feature. It offers compatibility to most of the devices including iPods and mp3 players.
Also, using aux can give you upto 2 hours of extra playback time. Well, that’s a lifesaver on some occasions.
When situation arrives, you might have to go old school to save the battery to get those 2 hours of extra playback
time. It’s not like the SB571 has less runtime in wireless mode. It gives 8-10 hours of playback time in bluetooth
wireless mode and 10-12 hours of playback time when wired. The battery is really impressive and great thing
about it is that it takes only 3 hours to completely recharge.
The SoundBot SB571 has two speakers – 6w + 6w HD loud speakers with 40 mm speaker drivers. Bluetooth
range of the speakers is upto 33 feet if there are no obstacles or walls in between. It features bluetooth 3.0
wireless technology and gives a smooth and uninterrupted wireless performance. The overall design and body of
SoundBot SB571 feels sturdy and attractive. Thanks to the staggered diamond design on the grill in the front
which wraps around the sides. iPhone/iPad users get one additional feature; battery states can be displayed on
the devices.

How does it sound?
The SoundBot SB571 is jarring loud and is up to snuff for a small room, thanks to the 12w power on tap.
However, there is a minor distortion in the sound output when volume is tweaked to 100%. When you reach
maximum volume the music stops for like 2 seconds and you get a beep as an indicator. Even when you push
next/previous track button there is a little bit of lag. Couple of moments miss and it sometimes ruins the moment.
The bass response of the speaker is pretty good and very dynamic. However it’s not that competitive but
definitely serves the purpose. It has a very well balanced highs and mids. Vocals and instruments sound crisp
clean. Overall sound quality is exceptionally good for a speaker with this price point.

Looking at all the exemplary features, design and sound, SoundBot SB571 is a speaker worth the purchase.
With features like shockproof, water resistant, handsfree calling, compact design and incredibly loud 12w output,

it is really astonishing that they priced it reasonable. If you are looking for an inexpensive bluetooth wireless
speaker with mic, water resistance, upto 12 hours of playback time, impressive sound quality and loudness.
Then you can definitely go for SoundBot SB571.
