but perfectly formed cottage in north Cornwall.
Turnstones is nestled in the quietest of quiet
hamlets in Trelill, a fantastic base for you to relax
and discover this beautiful part of Great Britain.
If you have questions or just want to find out a little
more about the house and the area, everything you
need to know can be found here in this book.

T H E C O T TA G E .
Inside and out.

We have recently renovated this
200-year-old cottage and are
welcoming new guests to enjoy
our very special home from home,
in Trelill, Cornwall. It’s the perfect
base to discover all that Cornwall
has to offer. With short drives to
some amazing places you’ve heard
of and some magnificent places
you never knew existed.
Bedroom 1:
The room has a standard double
bed with cabinet and hanging rail
for keeping clothes neat and tidy.
Bedroom 2:
A small double bed and inbuilt
wardrobe.
Bedroom 3:
A single bedroom, with a cabinet
for clothing.

Bathroom:
Toilet, sink, towel rail, large bathtub
and power shower.
Landing:
Spacious landing suitable for
children to play with some
provided toys. We have fixed two
stair gates to make the cottage
more child-friendly for our own
children and for yours.
Kitchen diner:
Ample work space with a variety
of quality cookbooks supplied.
All the usual kitchen utensils and
accessories provided. Standard
dining table, four dining chairs,
and small fridge. Equipped
with oven, hob, microwave, and
dishwasher.
Living room:
Spacious living room with wood
burner, 2 armchairs, and sofa bed
that converts into a small double
bed, TV with plenty of Freeview
channels, a small selection vinyl
records and retro record player to
dance the night away.

Outside:
Shared parking area, with ample
room. A large shared garden
suitable for BBQs, hide and seek
and sunbathing. We also enjoy 0%
light pollution so be prepared to
see a few stars.
Obviously, it’s never ideal if
something is broken, but these
things happen. if you could let us
know if you break or cannot find
anything so we can replace it.

The hot water switch can be
located in the large cupboard
in the bathroom which houses
the tank. Please ensure this is
switched off again at the end of
your stay.

HOW TO FIND US:

Check the TV is plugged in and
switched on. Press the red ‘ON’
button at the top right of the TV
remote. To view, a list of available
channels click the menu button,
alternatively to watch BBC 1, press
101, for BBC 2 press 102 etc.

WOOD BURNING STOVE

In case of an emergency, the stop
cock is located under the sink.

How to light the wood burning
stove.

SHOWER

1. Open both doors and remove
any existing ashes.

The Shower is turned on by pulling
the cord by the bathroom door
entrance down before switching
the shower unit ‘on’. There are
dials to alter the pressure and the
temperature.
FUSE BOX
The fuse box ican be found in the
same cupboard as the glassware
above the washing machine in the
kitchen.

Use the postcode PL30 3HT to get you as
close to the house as possible. This will
lead you to the heart of Trelill.

2. Place paper, and dry kindling
wood in the top grate.
3. Light the paper.
4. Leave the doors slightly open.
5. Once the kindling is burning
well add larger pieces of wood on
top.
6. Once all wood is burning
well shut both doors and place
fireguard across the stove.
