Here With You marks Jay Bird’s first official
release to feature a lead vocalist. The song
compliments the powerful vocal work of
Trisch by combining colorful trance textures
with uplifting, tropical melodies. Think
somewhere in between Above and Beyond,
Yotto, and EDX. “My goal in writing the music
and lyrics for the song was to create something focused on emotion and melody
while still being stimulating enough for a dance floor atmosphere.” In between the
progressive builds and peaks of the track, you’ll find a warm-bodied bass line and a
driving four on the floor beat to keep the track pushing forward.

Bio:
From his home base in San Jose, California, Jay
Bird consistently releases a mix of emotive
and melodic electronic music for listeners to
immerse themselves in. After years of pushing
a Folk Rock project, The Jay Birds, that
received support from well-known acts such
as Fleet Foxes, Jay Bird converted electronic
with the intention of making dance music that
held true to the organic feel of his folk roots.
Recent releases have received support from
various Hype Machine blogs, and in addition to
producing, Jay Bird has taken his music across
the Golden State performing in cities including San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego,
Oakland, and more.
