The bathroom renovation appears to have been done by unqualified personnel. Many of
the issues identified appear to be a result of in-experience or indifference and certainly a
lack of any desire to perform even average workmanship.

The shower floor was observed to be incorrectly sloped and to be of poor workmanship.
Three to five areas (up to one square foot each) of the shower floor were observed to be
grossly counter-sloped; significant moisture was pooled in these areas several hours after
shower use. This condition can lead to mildew, mold, staining and may lead to a slipping
injury as related to organic growth on the tile. - "§535.231 (a)(2)(E)"

A significant difference (45 degrees) in maximum water temperature was observed in the
bathroom when compared to other sinks. The water heater's proximity is nearer to the
bathroom than the compared sink. This issue indicates improper installation of plumbing

The bathroom sink knob fixture is improperly installed. The handle is located directly under
the faucet flow.

The knob handle must be pressed into the mounting to turn on water flow.
The manufacturer's intent is that the knob handle be pointing downward and that it be pulled
outward to open water flow.
