There's never been cause for the plant to be illegal,

of the people in the state of tennessee.. allow the peope of

Its a cure for so many medical problems a harmless cure so
important to society .

Because 6 years ago on July 24th, I lost my only daughter to
an accidental overdose of opiate based prescription drugs,
because she was threatened with being put in jail & her two
small children taken away from here if she tested positive for
using marijuana, by a so called pain management clinic. I
truly believe had she been able to use medical marijuana
instead of those opiate based prescription drugs, she would
still be alive today.

medical problems. Ranging from seizures to cancer to

is not harmful you cannot overdose on it it's a natural herb
that grows. Drinking alcohol is worse than smoking
marijuana.

I’m a recovering legally prescribed drug addict for 16 years.
Now I’m 37 100% disabled due from Tramadic Brain Injury
from a motorcycle accident in 2009. It’s sad when I have to
be illegally healed from a plant that our lord has made for
many purposes. I have to take 14 different medicines due to
my injury which includes Bi-polar mood disorder seizers.
Please pass this bill and let us medicate the legal way.
Thanks Mike E Troupe

Medical marijuana is important to so many people suffering
with out this natural healing herb. It is very much needed by
many in Tennessee.

It has medicinal value and can end or at least help many with
the opiate crisis. Which will reduce theft, jailtime and help
people with health issues.

There are more benefits for people smoking marijuana than
there are by taking opioids. It helps with eating disorders,
sleeping issues, depression, anxiety, and even pain.

To give people addicted to opiods a chance to get clean
without alternatives like methadone...and relieves my stress
and aches and pains and is very profitable for the state as
well, look at the revenue it has brought to states where it is
legal! Not to mention the opioid epidemic and crime are way
lower in these areas. Stop ignoring the facts and lets do this
people!!!Much safer than alcohol and has plenty healing
properties!

been much of a marijuana supporter, but after seeing the
studies done on it, and seeing the medical benefits I am for
it.. I believe legalizing marijuana will help with the opioid
addiction/addiction in general/ and the ones who suffer from
cancer, seizure, PTSD, ( just to name a few) and many other
medical conditions, and benefit our state as well. In the long
run I believe it will be legalized, so why keep fighting the
legalization.. I believe it will so more good than harm!

Because I have anxiety and sever stress, marijuana hasn’t
ever killed anyone. It helps Parkinson’s, it helps with eating
disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD. The list goes on and
on. Tn is an opioid addiction state, we have higher pill
addiction here than most states. Plus more people are
dropping their lives and moving where it is legal. Why not
just legalize it like the other states who have? The tax could
help schools, rebuild streets, and even help the less
fortunate! Marijuana is not bad, it is not addictive and there’s
nothing bad overall with this plant. America will not be free
until the people are heard!

I have been in chronic pain for 4 years now due to a
deteriorated discs in my neck of which I have three. I do not
like taking hydrocodones as I'd rather smoke marijuana to
ease the pain. I'm not worrying about getting addicted to
marijuana as it really helps out with the chronic pain. I
smoked it a little bit now to take less hydrocodones. I would
buy it for myself all the time however marijuana is expensive.
If the insurance company paid for a large portion of it I could
smoke three times a day and never have to take a painkiller.
I've known many people to say the exact same thing that I
am saying. Marijuana has never killed anybody, marijuana is
a natural plant that has been on the earth for centuries.
Marijuana was used for centuries as a medicine until
Richard Nixon turned it into a crime because he didn't like
the Hispanics from Mexico. There is nothing wrong with
smoking marijuana as it has so many uses for physical
disabilities as well as mental disabilities. The states that
have legalized it medically as well as recreationally the
opioid overdose has gone down at least by 25%. Get off
your ass Tennessee and do something that the US does so
we can actually be first instead of last doing something
actually good.

As a disabled vet using cannabis allowed me to sleep

has more than doubled snd I'm lucky to get 2 -4 hours of
sleep a night. At least legalize medical...in my opinion it
should be totally decriminalized, but medical would help.
