1. GET STARTED
ACCESS THE PRIVATE VERILY-SCIENCE EXCHANGE
MARKETPLACE
Navigate to the Verily group signup page,
www.scienceexchange.com/verily/signup, and
create an account. When you log in to Science
Exchange using these credentials, you will be
automatically directed to the private Verily
marketplace portal.

2. TWO WAYS TO REQUEST QUOTES:
A. SUBMIT YOUR PROJECT TO THE SCIENCE EXCHANGE
CONCIERGE SOURCING TEAM
The Science Exchange Concierge Service is managed
by a sourcing team of research consultants who are
ready to help you find the best research partner for
your project.
From your www.scienceexchange.com dashboard,
navigate to “Concierge Request,” then click on the plus
sign. Within the webform, describe your Scope of Work
in as much detail as possible. The sourcing team will
contact potential service providers and obtain quotes
for you.
Once you agree to move forward with a provider, your
Sourcing Manager will add the quote to your Science
Exchange dashboard (see Step 3).
B. SEARCH FOR PROVIDERS ON THE MARKETPLACE
You can also use the search bar at the top panel to
search the marketplace on your own. You may search
for a service, service provider, or key word relating to
your study. Search results can be filtered, then request
a quote by clicking on “Request a Quote” and
completing the form.
To request quotes from multiple providers, click the
“Select Another Provider” button. You can request
quotes from up to 5 providers for a particular Scope of
Work.
Service providers will deliver quotes directly to your
Science Exchange dashboard, and you will receive an
email alert (see Step 3).

3. REVIEW QUOTES
EASILY AND QUICKLY COMPARE POTENTIAL PROVIDERS
FOR YOUR PROJECT
Once quotes are available in your dashboard, you can
review all quotes and decide which provider you’d like to
proceed with for your project.
Click on “Dashboard” and you will see a list of all current
and past quotes. Quotes listed as “Pending Decision” are
awaiting your review and decision. Click on the individual
order numbers to review each pending quote.
On the order page corresponding to each order number,
you can directly message each provider to ask clarifying
questions, finalize the Scope of Work and protocol, and
determine which provider is the best fit for your project.
Once you are satisfied with an option, proceed to Step 4.

4. PLACE AN ORDER
ACCEPT A QUOTE FROM YOUR SCIENCE EXCHANGE
DASHBOARD
Click on the order in your Science Exchange dashboard to
expand the quote details. Click the “Place Order” button
and select the Purchase Order option in the pop-up.
Follow your existing procurement workflow for obtaining
approval for your purchasing order.

5. ADD COLLABORATORS TO A PROJECT
On the right side of the order page, click “Add Requester”
(shown at right). Enter your collaborator’s email and click
the button to invite them to the project. The collaborator
will sign up for a Science Exchange account if necessary,
and then arrive at the order page. Collaborators can post
messages, accept quotes and mark orders as complete.
To transfer ownership of a project to a collaborator, find
the collaborator’s name on the order page and click “Make
Owner.”
