COMPETITION FORMAT
Qualification Rounds:
-

Teams: 5 up, 4 count
Olympics: Individual competition only
Worlds: Team must designate the 5 competing athletes on each event 24 hrs prior
o May come from any of the 5-9 gymnasts competing per country

Team Finals:
AA:

Worlds: 4 groups of 4 teams
Olympics: 1 group, 8 teams
Olympics and Worlds: 4 up, 4 count; team must designate the 4 gymnasts competing each event 24 hours prior
o Each of the 4 must have competed the event in qualification

Top 24, 2-per country; 8 Wildcards = 4 highest remaining scores + top 4 in WCS (no country limit)
1-3-5 = VT; 2-4-6 = UB; random draw for remaining
2 VTs from different groups required

Top 1-3 from prelims draw for final 5 spots

rejects, or questions whether the skill or connection has been executed to technical requirements. Unplanned skills are entered by their element #.
The computer tallies the 8 highest elements inclusive of EGR, populates CV/SB where affirmed, and notates when a CR has been met.
Confirmed skills and connections are shown to the E Panel of 5 judges in green, questioned skills are shown in yellow, and rejected ones in red, with the new value
shown of the downgrade skill or connection.
