A big, charming and comfortable cocoon made famous by 007 in Dr. No. With its
elegantly rounded shell upholstered in black fabric, on a white Saarinen-style tulip
swivel base, the Globe Chair has all the qualities of a comfortable modern chaise. The
Globe Lounge Chair was designed by French designer Pierre Paulin for Artifort as
model F422 in 1959-60 and retains the original manufacturer’s tag. The black
reupholstery makes it truly timeless.
