GRAVENHURST BIA 2018 SIDEWALK SALES VENDOR APPLICATION
This application is for the following events:
Spring into Summer Art Crawl
Saturday June 23rd, 2018 – 10am-4pm
Celebrate Gravenhurst Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale
Friday August 10th, 2018 – 11am-4pm & Saturday August 11th, 2018 – 10am-4pm
Any vendor may apply for entry to a GBIA Sidewalk Sale. We strive for a diverse range of products and
services and admission to the event is ultimately up to the GBIA Board of Directors & Administration.
Vendors are encouraged to bring a cross-section of price points.
To secure your spot please complete Forms 3 & 4 and return to the Gravenhurst BIA via:

In person: Drop off your forms and payment in a sealed envelope to the Gravenhurst Opera House

Vendor Terms & Conditions
Set-Up: Vendors are permitted 2 hours for set-up prior to the scheduled event opening time.
Please Note: Vendor vehicles will be allowed on the street for the first 1.5 hours of set-up, they must
be removed ½ hour before the scheduled event opening time. Vendors are asked to unload all items
from their vehicles at their designated set-up locations and then park off site in a nearby parking lot. It
is recommended that vendors bring portable storage containers, shelving, etc… that will help assist in
storing as much of your product/merchandise at your booth location. It is also recommended that you
bring trolleys, wagons etc… to help transport items to and from your booth during the festival hours as
NO vehicles will be allowed on the street during these times and assistance cannot be guaranteed.
Tear Down: Tear down will begin after the show closes each day, booths must remain intact until the
event closes. No vehicles will be permitted on the street until the event closes.
Exhibits: Booth locations are final.
There will be no changes or moving amongst vendors at any time throughout the festival. Any special
requirements are to be sent in written form and submitted with this application. Booth Spaces will be
assigned by the GBIA. Exhibits must be staffed at all times during the show. Exhibitors are solely
responsible for their own tents, tables, chairs and display setups. BE ADVISED booth locations will be
set up on asphalt and/or concrete, therefore vendors will require sandbags/concrete blocks or weights
to keep tents stable from wind and/or rain. It is the sole responsibility of the vendor to ensure their
display is structurally sound from all weather conditions that may occur throughout the festival. Please
also ensure fire extinguishers are on hand with any tent structures.
Booth Power Supply: Power supply will not be arranged by the Gravenhurst BIA and it is up to vendors
to arrange via generators or by making private arrangements with property owners nearby.
Security: There will be NO SECURITY at any time during GBIA Sidewalk Sales.
Insurance: The exhibitor releases the show management/organizers, sponsors, along with any
volunteers or employees, from injury or damage incurred by the exhibitor and their agents. Show
management/organizers are released from all liability and responsibility for theft, damage, or accidents
regarding all exhibitor displays prior to, during, and/or after the show. Product liabilities, guarantees,
and insurance are the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.
No Pet Policy: Exhibitors CANNOT have pets on site or left in vehicles at any time throughout the course
of the festival. Pets ARE NOT permitted in the exhibit area at any time.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds for Spring into Summer Art Crawl are available up to Friday June 8th,
2018 and up to Friday July 29th, 2018 for Celebrate Gravenhurst. No refunds will be given after these
Payment: Cheques or cash will be accepted, cheques are preferred. Please make cheques payable to
the Town of Gravenhurst – BIA.
