Dear Rtns and friends of Rotary, I welcome
you back from our mission launch project
in kiwale-Ngongwe. Bravo Rotary club of
Bweyogerere – Namboole, Bravo Rotaractors
and interactors. Thank you AG Bob and AG
:
Juliet. I bring appreciation
from our partners
the fathers union of Seeta .I hope this start will
make a good ending
The “Kiwale” community where our mission green project is located left a
lot of sympathies to many Rotarians that attended,
1. There was not any well, tap or source of water for us to even wash our
hands after the exercise, later on water our plants.
2. There was not any primary or secondary schools in the locality for the
club to teach the need to plant trees.
3. The community was very anxious to receive whether fruit trees or any
commercial trees from the Rotary club.
The leaders in the community were very proud of the scout band we
moved with
We have a much bigger role to play in “Kiwale” other than plant trees for
mission green, and environmental conservation
Dear Rotarians “Kiwale” has become our own because of our tree project,

INTERACT CLUB OF ST JOHNS S.S VISIT TO
LUYANZI COLLEGE SCHOOL
On 28th July 2017, the Interact Club of St John’s S.S
Ntebetebe visited the Interact Club of Luyanzi
college with a purpose to establish working relationships. The team was led by the Club president MGP
Lukwago Hakim, Siibi Steven, Seruwu Moses, Mbabazi
Brian and Nampijja Leticia. We left our school at
4:45pm and reached Luyanzi at 5pm and immediately the fellowship started.
We were welcomed by the Interact Club Patron who
later directed us to the fellowship room.
The Club president started off the fellowship with
Rotary norms and later on asked members to think of
projects they can undertake before this school term
comes to an end.
In this regard President Hakim Lukwago of the Interact Club of St Johns S.S suggested that we should
organize a joint project meeting to share more
about this initiative.
Interactor Mbabazi Brian talked about the Mission
Green as a way of being an ambassador from st
Johns S.S and since it’s the theme of this Rotary year.
He suggested that they should put more emphasis on
it and also reported that St Johns had already planted two trees at school.
President Amoding Esther of Interact Club of Luyanzi
College welcomed all the ideas and promised to put
them in consideration.
AS members from Interact Club of St Johns S.S we
learnt to have weekly themes for our club and
therefore it was such an interesting and learning
experience.
Compiled by
Nampijja Leticia
Club Secretary
