There are some music genres that have a historic background, made up of all ages, and even
all cultures. One of them is music that has become the only tool that could reach out to all
people without prejudice. It is not uncommon to find millions of people from different parts of the
world, all worshipping music. For this reason, music, such as Liberian music and Afro beats,
have been used to highlight many topics, such as AIDS awareness, fighting against corruption
and many other causes.

However, beyond its ability to cross all areas of society, the music varied in nature. It's much
informed by the culture from which it originated. And because the world is full of diverse culture,
we also have a large diversity of the music we listen to. Examples of different music genres

Afrobeat is associated with Fela Kuti, a West African musician who is known for his radical

after returning from a tour of notable with the band. Seeing the potential of the idea, Fela
founded a new Club and call it an Afro. To popularize the idea, he decided to change the name
of a group of 70 Nigerian Fela Ransome-Kuti became & Africa 70.
These groups settled in a glowing Afro for 5 years between the 1970 and 75. Meanwhile, the
popularity of rhythm Afro continues to grow among young children, affecting the way they
speak: Talk, dress, think and even live their lives. Currently, the rhythms of the Afro continues
not only to become a musical genre, however, also continues to inspire other musical trends.
Some of the musical trends that were inspired by Afro rhythms including Lingala. This is a form
of music that is very popular in East and Central Africa. This musical form is commonly found in
Congo and Sung in Lingala (Congo) and France. Koffi Olomide, Papa Wemba, magic system
and more is the name of the most prominent of these musical forms.
Other musical forms inspired by Afro rhythms include Kapungala. This is a relatively new dance
was born in Kenya. It is also a hybrid of these two forms of independent music. Namely; Lingala
and kapuka this dance were popularized by artists such as Daddy Owen and Tim Wernono.
So it's clear that the rhythm of Afro has impacted the music we're hearing today and likely will
continue in this regard. There are many styles and themes expressed in certain types of music.

A Short Story About Liberia
The story about the country of ​Liberia​ has such
complex origins. Located along the coast of Africa with
his immediate neighbors: Guinea, Ivory Coast, and
Sierra Leone. (Liberia means "freedom " in Latin)
Liberia was born in 1822 when American freed slaves
arrive and form the country. Previously, the land was
not claimed as a colony of Europe or a country. Liberia

dollars, mainly from agricultural and industrial activities are lacking. The main source of Liberia
is chocolate, rice, coffee, and minerals.
A U.S. organization called The American Colonization Society has launched an activity to give
African American slave who freed the opportunity to return to their African roots. The migration
began in 1822 & about ten thousand people arrived in Liberia to colonize it. Americo-Liberian
citizens began to settle and after 25 years in the year 1847, Republic of Liberia was formed.
Joseph Jenkins Roberts was first elected President. Immigrants brought their culture and way of
life to them and settled in Monrovia, the capital of the newly founded. The name of capita was
inspired by former President of the United States, James Monroe, who supports the creation of
Liberia.
Cultural differences and discrimination of beginning have been hindering the integration of the
indigenous people of Liberia into a new society. For example, they rejected the voting until the
beginning of the 20th century. United States support developing countries to build an economy
that can be achieved. However, political and economic development of the country has been
hampered by ethnic rivalries.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Liberia has stable geographically and has resolved its
border with Sierra Leone. However, the weak economy because of the growth of the country's
debt. In 1926, U.S. rubber manufacturers named Firestone acquired the rights to the large
plantations that contributed to the positive growth of the economy of Liberia.
Liberia's continuing economic development but had trouble until the 1980s. then the tension
between national political parties took over the country as a result of the first civil war. A leader
of the civil war, Charles Taylor was elected President in 1997. He serves the interests of the
private over the past six years by ignoring a tiring economy in the country. In 1999, a second
civil war broke out which led to Taylor's overthrow by an international coalition in 2003.
