WHAT YOU NEED: ORANGE CONSTRUCTION PAPER, SCISSORS,
A DRINKING GLASS, A PENCIL, GLUE

DRAW THE
CIRCLES

CREATE A CONE

Use the drinking
glass to draw 3 circles
on a piece of orange
construction paper.
Cut them out.

Hold all 3 circles
together and fold in
half. Then fold in
half again to create
a cone shape.

MAKE A CUT

OPEN THE CONE

Cut a slit from
the curved end of
the paper cone,
leaving about 1/3 of
it untouched.

Unfold the cone.
Then cut more
slits so the flower
has multiple
petals.

DRAW & CUT
To create the flower’s
stamen, draw a shape
that resembles a hair
comb on a strip of
paper. Cut it out.

GLUE
THE PETALS

To create a fuller
flower, layer several
petals on top of each
other. Attach them
together using a few
drops of glue.

COMPLETE YOUR
FLOWER
Add a few drops of glue
to the center of your
flower. Gently press the
base of the stamen into
the glue and hold for 30
seconds. Repeat the steps
to create a full bouquet!

ROLL & CUT
Roll your “paper comb”
into a tight bundle.
Make a few cuts into
each triangular section
until you’re left with
numerous wisps
of orange paper.
