Customs announces new Exchange Rate for Import valuation at Rs. 64.85/US$ and
Rs. 63.15/US$ for Export valuation w.e.f. 16th February 2018.
RIL increased PP IM Prices by Rs. 2000/MT, Raffia, Extrusion and F&F by Rs 2500/MT,
TQ by Rs 1000/MT, ICP by Rs 2500/MT and RCP by Rs 1000/MT w.e.f. 15th February
2018.
RIL increased HDPE grades Prices by Rs 2500/MT except IM High, IM Low, Raffia &
Monofilament which is increased by Rs. 2000/MT and rolled over LLDPE Prices w.e.f.
15th February 2018.
RIL reduced LDPE Milk Pouch Prices by Rs. 2000/MT, Heavy duty by Rs. 6000/MT, LD
16ma400 by Rs. 2000/MT and rolled over all other LDPE Prices w.e.f. 15th February
2018.
RIL increased PVC Prices by Rs. 2000/MT w.e.f. 15th February 2018.
GAIL increased HDPE Blow / MBM / Pipe / HM Film / MF Grades Prices by Rs. 2500/
MT, HD Injection / Raffia increased by Rs 2000/MT and rolled over all LLDPE Grades
Prices w.e.f. 15th February 2018.
IOCL Increased PP-IM Prices by Rs. 2000/MT, PP-RAFFIA/BOPP/ICP Prices by Rs.
2500/MT, TQPP/PP RCP Prices by Rs 1000/MT, HD-IM/HD-YARN Prices by Rs. 2000/MT
while HD-BM/HM-FILM & all PIPE grades increased Prices by Rs. 2500/MT and Rolled
over LLDPE Prices w.e.f. 15th February 2018.
HMEL increased PP inj Prices by Rs. 2000/MT, PP Film Grade by Rs. 1000/MT, PP Fiber and Filament, Thermoforming and Raffia by Rs. 2500/MT w.e.f. 15th February
2018.
DCW limited increased PVC Prices by Rs. 2,350/MT.
HPL increased PP Inj. Mldg Prices by Rs. 2000/MT, Raffia/ICP by Rs. 2500/MT, Film/
RCP by Rs. 1000/MT, HDPE Inj. mldg/Raffia by Rs. 2000/MT, Blow Mldg/HM film/pipe
by Rs. 2500/MT and rolled over LLDPE Prices w.e.f. 15th February 2018.
OPAL increased PP Prices by Rs. 2500/MT, HDPE - BM / HM / PIPE by Rs. 2500/MT, IM
by Rs. 2000/MT, Raffia by Rs. 2000/MT and rolled over LLDPE Prices w.e.f. 15th February 2018.

International offers for Vietnam: A Taiwanese producer offered GPPS at US$ 1,580/MT, HIPS at US$ 1,640/MT and ABS
at US$ 2,060/MT, CNF HCM port basis for March 2018 shipment.

 A producer from USA offered PVC at US$ 925/MT, A Chinese producer offered PVC at
970/MT, an Indonesian producer offered PVC at US$ 955/MT and a Thai producer offered
PVC at US$ 970/MT, CNF HCM port basis for March 2018 shipment.

Petrochemicals News: PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has shut its HDPE Plant for maintenance work. The Plant is
located at Map Ta Phut, Thailand each with the production capacity of 275,000 Tons/Year.
 Lotte Titan Nusantara has restarted its No.1 LLDPE Line which was shut due to shortage of
raw materials. The Line is located in Cilegon, Indonesia with the production capacity of
125,000 Tons/Year.
 LyondellBasell has shut Reactor at its LDPE Unit. The Unit is located in La Porte, Texas with
the production capacity of 200,000 Tons/Year.
 Zhuhai Hongcai Fine Chemical is planning to build a Naphtha based continuous Reformer at
Zhuhai Gaolan Petrochemical. The Facility will be located at Zhuhai, China with the production capacity of 1.5 Million Tons/Year.

Miscellaneous News: Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon is planning to restart its VAM Plant by end-Feb or early-March,
2018 after maintenance work. The Plant is located in China with the production capacity of
300,000 Tons/Year.
 Spot LLDPE Prices assessed stable in Europe in the range of US$ 1,100-1,150/Tons.
 MLLDPE Prices increased in India by US$ 10/Tons and assessed at US$ 1,370/Tons.
 Shin-Etsu Chemical is planning to shut its Caustic Soda Plant on 9th April, 2018 for
maintenance work of 10 days. The Plant is located in Naoetsu, Japan with the production
capacity of 63,000 Tons/Year.
 Unipol is planning to expand capacity of its EPS Plant by 180,000 Tons/Year. The Plant is
located in Oss, Netherland.
 Hanwha Chemical is planning to shut its No.3 Caustic Soda Line on 16th April, 2018 for
maintenance work. The Line is located in Yeosu, South Korea with the production capacity
of 179,000 Tons/Year.
