Christmas means different things to varoius people. To some it's a chance of joy, a time for them
to spend with family and good friends. For many people it's a time of loneliness. For many it's an
item of wonder, lights and magic, while for others it's just the chance to take some time off work,
eat a bit and drink a lot.
In the middle of that, you could be forgiven for assuming that the central figure of Christmas this
can be a old, fat jolly guy within the red suit. There's lots of fake in Christmas… fake elves, fake
snow, fake stars, fake trees, fake smiles at family gatherings, or as adults we're conditioned to
believe nothing but play in addition to façade. But many of us who are Christians have something
greater than the fakeness, many things makes this season one among true joy and genuine
His name is Jesus, and right now we celebrate His coming to earth. You'll see pictures of Him as
a baby, though it's not the tip of the story… it's not even the grass roots of how it works! But why
is that did He, being God, to be a man, a person born within the lowly stable, to some working
class family who lived in a working class town? This is without doubt one of the great mysteries of
Christmas, that Christ...

or a culture-class prophet. He was but still is God Himself, and He had the top game in mind.
