If you read Heaven Is So Real! you must read this book.
Christians Going to Hell is related to Heaven Is So
Real! I had the book written so that people would
repent before My Second Coming. This is a book that I
am pleased with, a book that is very important to Me.

Preface

M

y heart sincerely wishes that all would believe in Jesus,
receive the assurance of salvation, and not go to hell.

Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter
the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will
of my Father who is in heaven.
—Matthew 7:21

These words are truth and will be fulfilled. Jonathan
Edwards, John Wesley, George Whitfield, Charles Finney,
Richard Baxter, Thomas Watson, and Joseph Alleine very
clearly proclaimed this truth. Charles Hodge, Dwight Moody,
Aiden W. Tozer, Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and John Stott followed
the same truth. However, most of the modern church has
lost this truth. As a result, many souls are being deceived
and face the danger of destruction.
At such a time, I think it is very fortunate that Heaven
Is So Real!, written by Mrs. Choo Thomas and translated
by Pastor Yonggi Cho, has come out. This book was long
overdue, testifying and re-emphasizing the fact that those
whose hearts are impure and who are disobedient will definitely not enter heaven.
Heaven Is So Real! is a testimony of Mrs. Thomas’s experience of going to heaven seventeen times. In the book, the
Lord sighed over the fact that “only about 20 percent of
churches are putting Me first; the rest of them are worrying
about what people say and how much money they will have.”1
Also He said, “Only about 20 percent of Christians are actually pleasing Him.”2 In the book, the following shocking
information is recorded:

Christians Going to Hell
The Lord touched my head, and took my hand, leading
me down a dark tunnel, and we emerged on another
rough road that ran very far and to the edge of the pit.
This mountain road led through tall trees and huge
rocks. When we got to the top, I looked out over a
brown and lifeless valley. Everywhere there was brown.
The whole region seemed to be filled with dead grass.
I noticed multitudes of people who were wearing
sand-colored robes roaming aimlessly in the vicinity
of the pit’s yawning mouth. Their heads were hanging
low, and they looked very dejected and hopeless.
“Who are these people, Lord?” I asked.
“They are disobedient ‘Christians.’”
“How long will they have to stay in this barren, lifeless place?”
“Forever, My daughter. The only ones who will enter
My kingdom are the pure of heart—My obedient children.”
He went on to explain: “Many who call themselves
‘Christians’ do not live by My Word, and some of them
think that going to church once a week is enough. They
never read My words, and they pursue worldly things.
Some who even know My words never have their hearts
with Me.”
The whole plan and purpose of God was beginning
to clarify in my thinking. I remembered how Jesus had
warned that it is hard to enter His kingdom, and now I
had an inkling of what that meant.
“My daughter, My Word says that it is hard to enter
the kingdom of heaven, but so few really believe this
and understand its importance. I am revealing this to
you so you can warn them,” He explained.3

Preface
In another part of the book, Jesus solemnly warned that
those who barely come to Sunday worship, those who are
stingy and do not tithe, those with lukewarm faith, and those
who love the world more than the Lord cannot enter heaven
even though they are Christians. Further, the Lord warned
“that many pastors will go into the valley . . . [of the shadow of
death], then their congregations will follow.”4
I must ask you a question: Do you truly understand the
words that Jesus said to Choo Thomas? In other words, are
you convinced that these words are the truth from Scripture?
By the mercy and grace of God, I had known this truth for
twenty years and had proclaimed it solitarily. Now, I believe
that it is time for me to share the biblical doctrine of salvation, which the Holy Spirit taught me. That is why I wrote
this book.
While Mrs. Choo Thomas’s book is an experiential book on
the doctrine of salvation, my book is one that supports biblical,
revelatory messages about the doctrine of salvation. So I urge
you, do not hesitate to buy and read this book. I hope you will
believe in Jesus and avoid hell. Furthermore, I hope you will
believe in Jesus in a proper way and go to heaven.

Foreword

I

thank and praise God for allowing me to be part of
Pastor Seung Woo Byun’s book.
The Lord told me that He had caused Pastor Byun to
write the book Christians Going to Hell for people who are
confused about hell and for Christians who do not know
what they must do to go to heaven. Every Christian must read
Christians Going to Hell, a book filled with God’s truth.
Because the Lord showed me only partially about hell,
He used Pastor Byun to shed more light and teach more in
depth about hell. Sister Mary Baxter experienced hell many
times as recounted in her book A Divine Revelation of Hell,
and it is too terrifying to describe it. The Lord told me that
there are few places in hell more dreadful than the one Sister
Baxter described, and He is not pleased at all that some
pastors never mention hell. The Lord spoke of hell so many
times while He was on the earth because He does not want
anyone to go there.
I thank God that He chose Pastor Byun to write this
book, because some Christians never hear about hell from
sermons or from Bible studies. They truly do not realize what
a terrifying place hell is. Furthermore, some Christians have
no idea what will happen after they die. They blindly believe
that they will not remember anything after life on Earth. I
know this because I have received too many letters about it.
How sad it is! Our bodies will die, but our souls and spirits
never die. We will feel pain, joy, sadness, and all the emotions
we felt while we were living on Earth. Whether we go to hell
or heaven, we will live eternally.
Christians Going to Hell is filled with the knowledge of
God’s Word that we should learn and the things we need to
