These will be worked two at a time on a long circular needle
Gauge is 6 stitches per inch
We used DK weight yarn and US Size 4 needles to obtain gauge
Cast on 28 stitches
Cast 14 stitches on one needle slide down and cast on 28 Split these in 2 sets of 14 then cast on
remainder 14
Round 1: P All both sides
Round 2:
Side (a): K1, M1R, K12, M1R, K1
Side( b): K1, M1L, K12, M1L, K1 (32sts)
Round 3: P All sides
Round 4:
Side (a): K2, M1R, K12, M1R, K2

Side (b): K2, M1L, K12, M1L, K2 (36sts)
Round 5: P All sides
Round 6:
Side (a): K3, M1R, K12, M1R, K3
Side (b): K3, M1L, K12, M1L, K3 (40sts)
Round 7: P all sides
Round 8:
Side (a): K4, M1R, K12, M1R, K4
Side (b): K4, M1L, K12, M1L, K4 (44sts)
Rounds: 9, 11, 13, 15, 17: P both sides or knit if doing Stockinette except for Round 9 which you’ll pearl
Rounds: 10, 12, 14, 16: K both sides
Round 18:
Side (a): K13, SSK 3 times, K1, SSK
Side (b): K2tog, K1, K2tog 3 times, K13 (36sts)
Rounds 19, 21, 23: P All (both sides) or knit if doing stockinette
Round 20:
Side (a): K11, SSK two times, K1, SSK
Side (b): K2tog, K1, K2tog 2 times, K11 (30sts)
Round 22:
Side (a): K10, SSK, K1, SSK
Side (b): K2tog, K1, k2tog, K10 (26sts)
Round 24 and beyond: Continue on garter stitch until desire length of leg of boot.
