About Pitch, Please
Pitch, Please is Temple University’s LGBTQIA+ advocacy a cappella group. The group was
founded in 2014 with the mission to spread positivity, empowerment, and unity through our
music. As a group, we pride ourselves on, well, our pride! This year, we took in 10 new Pitches,
so we’ve taken this opportunity to turn a new leaf and strive to be better than ever. From
pancake parties to wild trips to Manhattan, our Pitch family has grown closer than we could
have imagined (and we don’t think we sound too bad, either). This is our first-ever concert in
Rock Hall and we can’t express how excited we are to share our music with you!
We’d like to thank Dara Boyd, Kristina Lang, the Boyer College of Music and Dance, and our
awesome advisor Adam Vidiksis (aka Doc. V) for their help in setting up this event.
To the TU A Cappella community: watching all seven groups become closer than ever this
semester has been amazing, and Pitch, Please is so gracious to be part of this uplifting
community. (And thank you to LiaChorus for performing with us tonight!)
Lastly, thank YOU, the audience, for coming out and supporting our endeavors! To our
parents, family, and friends: thank you for all of your love and encouragement. To all of our
former Pitches: we wouldn’t be here without you. And to the LGBTQIA+ community: we love
and support you; it's why we do what we do. We hope you have a LIT time Coming Out!
xoxo,
About LiaChorus
LiaChorus was founded in 2015 by a group of three freshmen with hopes to bring new music
into the a cappella scene at Temple University. Through a series of trial and error, LiaChorus
solidified themselves as a group in the spring of 2017 with 7 members. Since then, they have
grown to 14 members, standing out as one of the most rapidly-growing groups on campus.
Now, LiaChorus is a tight-knit group that prides themselves on arrangements that bring new
light to familiar music, as well as music that is lesser-known.
