will you worship?
In May, we will welcome...
Ray Jones – a teacher, worship leader, producer and director of
evangelistic outreach events, who has 43 years of worship leading
experience. Scheduled times with our own choir, praise team and
church musicians will take place during May 18-28.
“God’s felt presence will fill the deepest longing of our hearts. When we worship, all of heaven is
listening and God's presence is activated.” - Ray Jones
in memory
Richard (Dick) Lusk
Family and friends gathered on March 24, 2018 in celebration of the home-going of
Richard (Dick) Lusk, former pastor of KIBC. He is survived by his wife, Ida (and their five
girls), who together, served faithfully here and at Clearwater Bay Chapel for 14 years,
arriving in September 1977. He is remembered as a loving and hardworking man, whose
Chinese name, Loh Shu Gei, means “laboring to build upon the foundation of Christ.” Ida
writes: “We kept thanking the Lord for His love gifts to us, majoring on what we had
and not our losses. Now he is singing joyful praises to our Risen Lord Jesus.”
Cards and notes may be sent to:

“In 2015, the Word of God touched my heart,
and I chose to quit all my bad habits. One
morning, I prayed in the name of Jesus and
threw away all the drugs. From that day
onwards, I’ve known real freedom in my life
and began going to church. I am so blessed
and happy to know Jesus in my life - that He
gave His life on the cross just to save a
sinner like me.” – Deepak Gurung, husband
“They (Inner City Ministries) gave me a Bible,
but I didn’t bother to take it seriously or read
it. (I had heard that if I read the Bible, it
would make me crazy or mad). I became
curious about the Word of God. I found
peace and joy within me and started
believing the Word of God. Now my whole
family is saved, and we are so blessed to
know about our Savior, the Lord Jesus
Christ.” – Nikki Sherpa, wife

nametag sunday
May 20
Everyone ought to wear a
nametag because:
1. It’s impossible to remember everyone’s
name!
2. Knowing each other’s name makes our
fellowship more personal!
3. At KIBC, we wear our nametags because
it’s one way to say, “We expect God to
send us guests, and we want to be ready
for them.” (If we already know each
other and nametags are NOT necessary,
then we’re not expecting any guests).
Let’s get ready to receive any guests at KIBC!
