The conversion factors for different business verticals and business groups are configured in a
tree structure.
Refer the sheet here:

b4k/edit#gid=1213870233
for the tree structure that we will be following for the entire set of Paytm’s business verticales
and business groups.
Say at the top we have Paytm which has say 6 business groups:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Recharge & Utilities
Booking (O2O commerce)
E-Commerce (paytm mall)
Merchant Payments (3rd Party Payments)
Paytm Payment Bank (Includes Wallet and all types of Money Transfer)
Paytm Games

The Image below shows default configured at the Paytm (overall level).

Conversion Factor is set to 0.01 at Paytm Overall level.

The top most level has 6 children and right now none of them are overriding its parent.

If I click on the Edit option then that should take me to a screen where I can change the
1. conversion factor set for the current level and
2. change status of its children (like R&U, booking) overriding the parent.

2nd screen in detail.
- It show that the status of the parent (top level - Paytm) is active. Top level will always be
active.
- Conversion factor is 0.01
- Overriding Subcategories are 0/6

None of the children are right now overriding the parent and this is also confirmed with each
of their overriding status displayed as UNCHECKED.

To have any one of them overriding the parent (say Recharge & Utility), check its Overriding
status

Similarly, Recharge & Utility shows that currently 4 out of 10 of its subcategories are
overriding it.

This 4 out of 10 thing get confirmed when we go inside the Recharge and Utility section by
clicking on its edit option.
