In 2017, INSTAGRAM migrated most of their Python code base from Python 2.7 to

Python is making its way to the top because of the reputation it has for its simplicity and
practicality. It’s numerous features like, easy to learn, expressive, object-oriented, free
and open-source is making it more in demand.
