February 2019 Club Minutes
Tripp is planning a land hunt at an old school that was built in 1950 located in Lake Worth. It has never been hunted. He received
permission for us to hunt there. A sign-up sheet was made available at the meeting. However, additional info will be made available at our
next meeting, as well as an opportunity for others to sign up for the hunt. The hunt is set for Sunday, March 17, at 8:00 a.m.
Bill Lane provided information about an open hunt in Wabasso (Kiwanis-Hobart Park) on Saturday, 3/9. The all day hunt is $125. If you
register before 3/1, the cost is $99. He can provide additional information on it. He had handed out info flyers at the meeting.
Reminder, the March meeting will be held on Wednesday, 3/13.
Sue gave her tips for the month. This one was about being aware of your sites and of your surroundings.
Frank gave a demonstration on 6 pin pointers with feedback from the audience.
Members brought in items to sell in during the meeting.

St. Patrick’s Day Club Hunt
1718 Douglas St
Lake Worth, FL 33460
Tripp Cioci has put together this month’s hunt at a local school. The building has been there since the 1950s, so
there’s no telling what we may find.
Members can park on the street or park in the dirt parking lot south of the building. The fence is locked, so we are
getting special permission to hunt. Please be respectful to not leave any holes. The fee is $5.00 which will be
donated to the non-profit school. It is a great opportunity to test your machine on a inland hunt, and help out a nonprofit organization at the same time. See you there!
