Tzaddikim 1
[01] Since indeed many have undertaken to compose narratives concerning the ma.ers having been
fully accomplished in us, even as they were entrusted to us, which from the commencement were
eyewitnesses and subordinates of the Memra:
[02] It seemed appropriate to me also, having followed the course of all things accurately from above, to
write unto you in order, most noble Theophile, lover and friend of Elohim: that you may know the
absolute surety concerning the oracles and sayings which have been sounded down into your ears.
[03] In the heavenly tablets there is a name wri.en, ZkarYah ben BrekYah.
[04] In the Histories of the Kohanim there is a chief Kohen, in the la.er days of Herod, king of Yhudah,
and his name Ma.ithyah ben Theophilo ben Shimeon haTzaddik.
[05] First among his brethren and the glory of his people was Shimeon Yohanan Honiyah, (that is,
Oniah, Mercy of Yah), haKohen haGadol, who is surnamed Shimeon haTzaddik, (the Just).
[06] In his days the House of Elohim was strengthened, and the Sanctuary of iawa was fortified:
[07] The wall of the square of the Sanctuary was reinforced, and the pool was excavated; a reservoir
with an expanse like that of the molten Sea for the Kohanim to wash in.
[08] And so it was that with the period of wrath having come to a close, three hundred and ninety years
after the nation had been given into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon:
[09] It came to pass that iawa visited them, and He made to spring forth from Yisrael and Ahron a
Root of His planting, to inherit His Land, and to grow and blossom in the goodness of His earth.
[10] And they had understanding of their iniquity, and they understood that they were not guiltless, and
like the blind they also had been groping after the Way for twenty years more.
[11] And Elohim considered their works because they sought Him with a perfect heart:
[12] And He raised them up a Teacher of Righteousness, Shimeon Yohanan Honiyah, Prince of the
Covenant, haKohen haGadol, haTzaddik the Upright.
[13] He cared for his nation and delivered it from destruction by the way of righteousness: how
splendid he was in appearing from the tent, coming forth from the curtain of the door!
[14] As the morning star shining in the midst of the clouds, even as the moon at her full; as the
countenance of the sun when he shines in his strength, so he shone in the Sanctuary of Elohim:
[15] As the seven colors of the rainbow shining in the bright cloud; as the blossoms on the branches in
the springtime; as the lilies on the banks of a stream:
[16] As the cedars of Lebanon that flourish in the summertime; as the brilliant white fire of incense
burning in the fire of a censor; as a hammered pure gold vessel adorned with every precious stone:
[17] As a fat olive tree budding in blossoms, and a cypress tree standing straightway into the heavens:
[18] So he was when he put on the robe of glory, clothed with perfection of power; and when he went
up to the holy altar his heart radiated light through the vesture of holiness.
[19] And when he received the offerings at the hands of the Kohanim, he stationed himself before the
sacrificial wood, as YiYhak, and roundabout him stood his brethren like a wreath:
[20] Like a stand of cedars on the white heart mount Lebanon; as the branches of palm trees they stood
roundabout him, all the sons of Ahron in their glory.
[21] But in the course of his ministration there rose up usurpers; evil men who were in league with
foreign powers, engaging in wicked intrigues, on account of a lust for power and money:

[22] For there was a great sum of dedicated money stored in the Sanctuary treasury, which was set aside
for orphans, and widows, and the ebionim among the people; many talents of silver and gold.
[23] And when a wicked Kohen had usurped the office of Kohen by treachery, through intrigue and
deceit, the wicked one opened up the treasury and robbed the Sanctuary of iawa Elohim.
[24] And when Honiyah knew of it he rebuked the Wicked Kohen, publicly, and fled to the Sanctuary of
asylum at Antiochea Paneion, (that is, Panium), which is in the northern extremity of EreY Yisrael.
[25] This Antiochea is at the foremost fountain of Yarden, Antiochea Panea, which Philippo built into
Kaesarea Philippo; of old time it was called Chobah, (hidden-secret), and Riblah at Baal-Hermon.
[26] But in complete disregard for justice the wicked one sent forth one from his league to silence the
voice of Honiyah, who came to Honiyah in deceit, even giving his right hand with the oaths:
[27] And although Honiyah suspected him, yet he was persuaded of him to come forth from the
Sanctuary: but as soon as he came forth the wicked one slit his throat and shut him up.
[28] For which cause not only the Yhωdim, but even many from the other surrounding peoples took
great indignation, and were heavily grieved over the unjust murder of the Teacher of Righteousness:
[29] And all Yisrael mourned for Shimeon Yohanan Honiyah three days and three nights.
[30] Moreover it was revealed by the Spirit of the Holy One to Shimeon Yohanan Honiyah haTzaddik
that his seed should not fail to witness the coming of the X}R of iawa.
[31] And it came to pass in due time that a certain Ma.ithyah ben Theophilo ben Shimeon with his wife
of youth and covenant were walking upright, in all the commandments of iawa, blameless.
[32] Moreover, being chief Kohen, Ma.ithyah also prophesied:
[33] For king Herod had erected an image over the Great Gate of the Sanctuary of iawa Elohim; a
large golden eagle, of great expense, which he had dedicated to the Sanctuary:
[34] And Ma.ithyah spoke out against the image rebuking Herod concerning the unlawful act.
[35] The people were thus fond of Ma.ithyah; not only for his courage, but likewise for the many
upright things which he practised.
[36] But for these things Herod sought occasion to slay him, that is to say, to cut off his voice, and that is
by removing him from the office of Kohen:
[37] For whosoever hates his brother is a manslayer, in the doctrine of the Master, and to silence the
voice of a man is as it were to cut his throat.
[38] He was cut off between the naos and the altar; for the altar of adamah is the soil of the heart, as it is
wri.en in the Torah of iawa, An altar of adamah shall you make unto Me.
[39] But Herod feared the people, and sought to take him away by stealthy entrapment, for the people
held Ma.ithyah as a Navi, that is, a Prophet.
[40] And at that time Ma.ithyah had become an old man, in the Way of the Word, and yet he with his
helpmate were without an Elohim offspring:
[41] And Ma.ithyah prayed often, petitioning and beseeching iawa Elohim for an Elohim seed, that
he might raise up a holy seed in Yisrael.
[42] And it came to pass in the very night before the great fast that Ma.ithyah had a dream which
concerned his wife, and behold, his dream caused him to become ritually impure:
[43] And being the upright certain one that he was, he privately made it known to the chief Kohanim, so
that another might stand in his place to perform the ceremonies of the great day.
[44] For this cause it was that Ma.ithyah was temporarily disqualified from performing his office as
chief Kohen in the great day of the fast:

[45] So the chief Kohanim elected his kinsman, Yoseph ben Elim, to stand in his place for one day, that
is, the great day of the fast in that particular year.
[46] And the morrow after the great day of the fast Ma.ithyah was restored to his office; and therein he
faithfully continued his ministration at the altar of iawa Elohim.
[47] In the days of Herod king of Yhudah there was a certain Kohen of the name Zekaryah, of the course
of Abiyah, and his wife was from the daughters of Ahron, and her name Elisheba.
[48] And they were two-as-one Tzaddik before Elohim, walking upright in all the ordinances and
commandments of iawa, blameless.
[49] And to them was there no teknon-offspring, (tikto, plant life), forasmuch as Elisheba was barren,
and they were two-as-one advanced in their days.
[50] And it came to pass that the Malak of iawa appeared to him in a vision, standing at the altar of
incense, which ascends before Elohim with the prayers of the holy ones by the hand of the Malak:
[51] And behold, the Malak of iawa called his name Zekaryah, when he was sent to inform him
concerning Maryah, who had become twelve years age in the Sanctuary of iawa.
[52] Moreover the supplications of Zekaryah became more fervent, for himself and for Elisheba his wife
of covenant, that he might be given an Elohim seed, that is, until a certain appointed time:
[53] For the Malak of iawa appeared to him again, in a vision, standing at the altar of incense; and
the Malak informed him that iawa Elohim had heard his petitions for an Elohim seed.
[54] And the Malak of iawa also named the name of his son, Yohanan ben ZkarYah ben BrekYah, in
the way of the holy seed line, which is Spirit.
[55] As it is wri.en, iawa said to me, Take a great writing tablet and write upon it with a chisel of
Enosh, for Maher-Shalal Chash-Baz, and I will record two witnesses faithful unto Me:
[56] Uryah, Flame of Yah, and Yah has remembered the Son of the Blessing of Yah! (for that is the
meaning of the name, ZekarYah ben BerekYah).

Tzaddikim 2
[01] In the Histories of the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael there is an exceedingly wealthy man, Yoakim, who
brought his offerings twofold, saying:
[02] That of my overabundance shall be unto all the people; and that of mine sending away shall be unto
iawa Elohim for my atonement:
[03] For the great day of iawa was at hand and the sons of Yisrael brought their offerings.
[04] And there stood up against him Rubel, saying, It is not lawful for you to bring your gifts first
because you have not produced, (tikto, plant life), seed in Yisrael.
[05] And Joachim was exceedingly grieved, and went away to the Scroll of the Twelve Tribes of the
people, saying to himself:
[06] I shall look into the Scroll of the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael, to see whether I alone have not produced
an Elohim seed in Yisrael.
[07] And he searched and found that all the righteous had raised up holy seed in Yisrael.
[08] And he recalled father Abraham, how in his last day iawa Elohim gave him a son, YiYhak.
[09] And Joachim was exceedingly grieved, and shone himself not to his wife, but rather gave himself
over to the desert wilderness.
[10] And Joachim pitched his tent in the wilderness, and fasted forty days and forty nights, saying:

[11] I will not go down, neither for food nor for drink, until iawa my Elohim shall look upon me:
and prayer shall be my food and drink.
[12] Moreover his wife Anna now mourned two mournings and bewailed two bewailings, saying, I
bewail my widowhood, and I bewail my childlessness.
[13] But the great day of iawa was at hand: and Yhudith her maidservant said, How long will you
humble your soul? Behold, the great day is at hand, and it is unlawful for you to mourn.
[14] But take this headstall, which the Lady over the works gave unto me; for it is not proper that I
should wear it, for I am your maidservant and it has the character of royalty.
[15] And Anna said, Stand away from me, for I have never done such a thing, and yet, iawa Elohim
has brought me very low.
[16] What if a worker of evil gave it to you and you come to make me partaker in your sin?
[17] And Yhudith her maidservant said, Why should I curse you? For the same reason, just as you have
not heard my voice, iawa Elohim has shut up your womb so that you should not be given the fruit
of offspring in Yisrael.
[18] And Anna was sorely grieved, but put off her garments of mourning, and cleansed her head, and
put on her bridal garments; and the ninth hour, the hour of prayer, she went to the garden to walk.
[19] And seeing a laurel tree she sat beneath it, and petitioned the Master, saying, O Elohim of our
fathers, bless me and hear my prayer, as you blessed the womb of Sarah and gave her a son, YiYhak.
[20] Then Anna gazed up toward the heavens and saw a nest of sparrows in the laurel tree; and she
made lamentation within herself, saying:
[21] Woe unto me! who begot me? and what womb produced me? For I have become a curse in the
presence of the sons of Yisrael; I have become a reproach, and they have driven me in derision out of the
Sanctuary of iawa my Elohim.
[22] Woe unto me! unto what have I been likened? I am not like the birds of the heavens, for even the
birds of the heavens are productive before you, O Master.
[23] Woe unto me! unto what have I been likened? I am not like the beasts of the earth, for even the
beasts of the earth are productive before you, O Master.
[24] Woe unto me! unto what have I been likened? I am not like these waters, for even these waters are
productive before you, O Master.
[25] Woe unto me! unto what have I been likened? I am not like this earth, for even the earth brings forth
fruit in due season and blesses you, O Master.
[26] And behold, the Malak of iawa appeared, saying to her, Anna Hannah, iawa has heard
your petition, and you shall retain seed and bring forth: and your seed shall be mentioned throughout
all the habitable Land.
[27] And Hannah replied, By the Living iawa Elohim, if I beget either male or female, I will present
the child as a gift unto iawa my Elohim; and it shall minister unto Him all the days of its life.
[28] And behold, there came two Malakim, saying, Look, your gaber Yoakim is coming with his flocks!
[29] For the Malak of iawa had descended unto him, saying, Joachim Yoakim, iawa Elohim has
heard your petition: Go, for behold, Hannah has retained seed engastri, (which is to say, in belly).
[30] And Yoakim descended, and called his shepherds, saying, Bring me here ten she-lambs without
spot or blemish, and they shall be unto iawa my Elohim; and bring me twelve young calves, and
they shall be for the Kohanim and the Elders; and bring a hundred goats for all the people.
[31] And behold, Yoakim approached with his flocks, and Hannah stood by the gate, and saw him:

[32] And she ran out, and hung about his neck, saying, Now I know that iawa Elohim has blessed
me greatly: for the widow is no more a widow, and the baren, behold, engastri has retained seed!
[33] And the first day Yoakim rested in his house: but the next day he brought his offering of gifts, and
Yoakim said within himself:
[34] If iawa Elohim is gracious unto me, the pure gold plate of the Kohen will manifest it unto me.
[35] And Yoakim brought his offerings, and he carefully observed the pure gold wreathen plate of the
Kohen, as he went up to the altar of iawa, and he saw no sin in his reflection.
[36] And Yoakim said, Now I know that iawa Elohim has been gracious unto me, and has sent away
all my sins: and he descended from the Sanctuary of iawa, set right, and went to his own house.
[37] And her months were filled, as it were six, and in the seventh month Hannah produced; and she
said to the midwife, What have I produced? and she answered, A female.
[38] And Hannah said, My soul has been magnified this day, and she laid her down.
[39] Moreover, the days having been fulfilled, Hannah was cleansed of her impurity, and she nourished
the child: and she named her name Maryah, as it is wri.en in haNavi Yeshayahω, And you shall be
called a new name by the mouth of Asher: iawa shall pierce it through, (fully describe it).
[40] And the child strengthened day by day; and when she was six months her mother stood her on the
ground to test whether she could stand:
[41] And she walked seven steps, roundabout, coming back into the bay of her mother.
[42] And her mother snatched her up, saying, By the Living iawa my Elohim, you shall not walk
anymore on this ground until I have brought you into the Sanctuary of iawa.
[43] Then she made a Sanctuary in her bedchamber, and allowed nothing common or unclean to pass
through her: and she called the undefiled daughters of the Hebrews, and they entertained her.
[44] Moreover it came to be the first year for the child, and Yoakim made a great celebration:
[45] And he invited the chief Kohanim, and the Kohanim, and the Scribes, and the Elders of the council,
even the whole of the people of Yisrael.
[46] And Yoakim brought the child to the Kohanim, and they blessed her, saying:
[47] O Elohim of our fathers, bless this child, and give her an everlasting name to be named in all
generations: and all the people said, So be it! Amen.
[48] And he brought her to the chief Kohanim, and they blessed her, saying, O Elohim Most High, look
upon this child, and bless her with a la.er end blessing that none other shall equal.
[49] And her mother took her up into the Sanctuary of her bedchamber and nursed her:
[50] And Hannah made a song unto iawa Elohim, saying, I will sing a holy song unto iawa my
Elohim; for He has looked upon me, and has removed the reproach of my enemies:
[51] iawa my Elohim has given me the fruit of His righteousness, uniquely flourishing before Him:
[52] Who will announce to the sons of Rubel that Hannah is nursing? Hear, hear you twelve tribes of
Yisrael; for Hannah is nursing!
[53] And she laid her down in the bedchamber of her Sanctuary and went out to serve them.
[54] And the supper having ended they went down rejoicing and glorifying the Elohim Yisrael.
[55] And it came to pass that unto the child her months were multiplied, and the child came to be the
space of two years, and Yoakim said:
[56] Let us lead her up into the Sanctuary of iawa, that we may pay the vow that we have vowed;
lest perchance the Master send for us, and our gift become unacceptable.

[57] And Hannah said, Let us abide the third year so that the child not seek after father or mother, and
Yoakim said, So let us abide.
[58] And the maidservant Maryah came to be the space of three years, and Yoakim said, Call the
daughters of the undefiled Hebrews:
[59] And let them each take a lamp, and let them station with the lamps burning bright, so that the
maiden not turn back, lest her heart be drawn away from the Sanctuary of iawa.
[60] And thus they did, until they had ascended up into the Sanctuary of iawa, and the Kohen
received her, and kissed her, and blessed her, and said:
[61] iawa Elohim has magnified your name in all generations; concerning you shall iawa
manifest His redemption to the sons of Yisrael at the end of days.
[62] And he set her down at the third step of the altar, and iawa Elohim dispatched Grace to stand
watch over her, and behold, and her feet danced, and all the house of Yisrael loved her.
[63] And her parents descended, marveling, and praising the Master Elohim for that the maiden Maryah
had not turned back toward them.
[64] And Maryah dwelt in the Sanctuary of iawa, abiding therein as if a dove, and she received
nourishment by way of the hand of the Malak of iawa.

[15] But the genesis-nativity-formation of the X}R was in this manner:
[16] His mother Maryah having been gifted unto Yoseph, before they convened, was found retaining
engastri, (that is, in belly, by way of consumption of the Word), from Spirit Holy.
[17] For it came to pass when Maryah was twelve that the Kohanim held a council, saying:
[18] Behold, Maryah has become the space of twelve years in the Sanctuary of iawa, what then shall
we do with her, lest perchance she defile the Sanctuary of iawa our Elohim?
[19] And they said to the chief Kohen, You stand at the incense altar of Elohim: enter in therefore and
make supplication over her; and whatever iawa Elohim shall manifest unto you, we shall do.
[20] So Ma.ithyah the chief Kohen, having taken up the robe of the twelve bells for the most holy
things, entered therein and made supplication concerning her:
[21] And behold, the Malak of iawa stood at the altar, and he called his name Zekaryah, saying,
ZkarYah Zekaryah, go forth and gather the widowers of the people, and let each one bring a rod:
[22] And to whomever iawa Elohim reveals a sign, unto that one shall she become his wife.
[23] So the heralds went out into all the land of Yhudah, and the trumpet of iawa sounded out, and
behold, all came running.
[24] Moreover Yoseph ben Elim cast off his tree-feller axe and rushed to their gathering; and when they
had assembled they gathered to the Kohen, bringing the rods.
[25] And taking the rods from them Zekaryah entered into the Sanctuary and made supplication:
[26] And he was also in ministration of the order of his service before Elohim, according to the custom
by lot to the office of the Kohen, entering into the Sanctuary of Elohim to burn incense:
[27] And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
[28] And the Malak of iawa appeared to him standing out of the right side of the altar of incense.
[29] And having seen him, Zekaryah was troubled, and fear fell upon him:
[30] But the Malak said to him, Fear not, Zekaryah, for your supplication is heard, and your wife
Elisheba shall bear you a son: and you shall call his name Yohanan.
[31] And you shall have joy, and gladness, and many shall rejoice because of his birth:

[32] For he shall be great in the eyes of iawa, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and of
Spirit Holy shall he be filled hereafter from the hollow of his mother.
[33] And many of the sons of Yisrael shall he turn unto iawa their Elohim; and he shall go before
Him in the Spirit and power of Eliyahω:
[34] To turn the hearts of the fathers unto tekna-offspring, and the stiffnecked unto the wisdom of the
Tzaddikim: to make ready a people prepared unto iawa.
[35] But Zekaryah spoke against it, and said to the Malak, According to what shall I know this thing? for
I am old in ways and my wife of covenant well advanced in her days.
[36] And the Malak answering said to him, I am Gabriel, who stands in the Presence of Elohim; and was
sent to speak to you, and to announce unto you the good message of these things:
[37] And behold, you shall keep silent, and cannot speak until what day these things shall come to pass
instead of not believing my words, which shall no doubt be fulfilled in their appointed time.
[38] And the people were awaiting Zekaryah; and they marveled that he lingered in the Sanctuary.
[39] And having ended his prayer, he took the rods and came out, and his face shone as it were the face
of a Malak, and he gave the rods back to them; but there was no sign among them.
[40] And in his coming forth he was not able to speak to them, and they perceived that he had
envisioned an apparition in the Sanctuary: and he signaled to them, remaining speechless.
[41] But Yoseph had received the final rod, and behold, a dove came forth from the end of the staff and
alighted onto the head of Yoseph.
[42] And the Malak said to Yoseph, You have been chosen by lot to take alongside the parthenos of
iawa into your safekeeping.
[43] But Yoseph spoke against it, saying, I have sons and am an Elder, she is but a young maiden!
Should I become a laughingstock to the sons of Yisrael?
[44] And the Malak said, Yoseph, you should fear iawa your Elohim, and remember what Elohim
did to Dathan, and Abiram, and Kore:
[45] How that the earth opened up and they were swallowed up on account of their contradictory
words; even now you should fear, Yoseph, lest the same thing happen with your own house.
[46] And the days of his ministration now being accomplished, Zekaryah departed to his own house,
and it was amid those days Elisheba his wife conceived; and she concealed herself five months, saying:
[47] For in this manner has iawa done unto me, in the days wherein He looked upon me, to take
away my reproach among men.
[48] Yoseph also feared, and he took Maryah alongside into his safekeeping; but he said to her, Maryah,
I have received you alongside from the Sanctuary of iawa, and now I leave you in my house, for I
must go off to build buildings, and I shall come back to you: iawa shall watch over you.
[49] And there came to be a council of the Kohanim, saying, Let us make a new veil for the Sanctuary of
iawa, and the Kohen said, Call unto me the undefiled virgins of the tribe of David:
[50] And the officers went seeking and found seven-sheba daughters of Amminadab, sisters of Nahshon,
prince of tribe Yhudah.
[51] And the Kohen was reminded of the maiden Maryah, how that now, being betrothed to Yoseph, she
was of the tribe of David and undefiled before Elohim: so the officers went and brought her back.
[52] And they led them into the Sanctuary of iawa, and the Kohen said, Choose by lot who shall
spin the gold, the white, the fine linen, the silk, the tekelet blue, and the scarlet and the true purple.

[53] And the true purple and the scarlet fell by lot to Maryah, and she, having taken them, departed and
went off to her house.
[54] Moreover, since Zekaryah was silent at that time, Shamuel was in his place until he spoke again.
[55] And in the sixth month the Gaber Malak Gabriel was sent from Elohim to the parthenos, Maryah,
being gifted to the gaber Yoseph, of the house of David.
[56] And Maryah had taken the scarlet to spin it; and she took a pitcher, going forth to draw water,
(from the water of the Word, and this is the time of evening, as it is wri.en in the Torah of Elohim).
[57] And behold, a voice, saying to her, Greetings, you who are highly favored, the Master is with you!
[58] But upon that word she was wholly disturbed and pondering what sort of greeting this might be.
[59] And Maryah looked roundabout, to the right and to the left, to see from where the voice had come:
and she went trembling, entering into her house, and set down the pitcher.
[60] And having taken the true purple she sat upon her seat, (that is, throne), and began to draw it out,
and behold, the Malak of iawa stood before her, saying:
[61] Fear not, Maryah, for you have found favor before Elohim the Master of All, and you shall conceive
retaining seed from His Word.
[62] But having heard this Maryah disputed within herself, saying, Shall I conceive from the Word of
iawa Elohim the Living and bring forth the same as every woman brings forth?
[63] And the Malak of iawa said to her, Not in that way, Maryah, for behold, you shall retain
engastri, (that is, in belly), and in that manner shall you produce a son, (tikto, plant life).
[64] And you shall call his name i}h, the same shall be great, and shall be called Son of the Highest:
[65] And iawa Elohim shall give unto him the throne of his father David, (and behold, haNavi
Yeshayahω says, alp, a set-apart Naziyr, iwes hl).
[66] And he shall reign over the house of Yaakob into the ages, and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
[67] But Maryah said to the Malak, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
[68] And answering, the Malak said to her, Spirit Holy shall supervene influentially upon you, and the
Power of Elohim Most High shall envelope you in brilliancy:
[69] Therefore also the holy one being generated shall be called Son of Elohim Most High.
[70] And behold, your kinswoman Elisheba has also retained a son in her old age, and this is the sixth
month with her that was called barren:
[71] For nothing is impossible with every Rhema-Word of the Elohim, (Breshiyt 18:14).
[72] And Maryam said, Behold, the maidservant of iawa is before Him, let it be unto me according
to your Rhema-Word: and the Malak departed from her.

Tzaddikim 4
[01] So Maryam wrought of the true purple and brought it to the Kohen:
[02] And having taken it the Kohen blessed her, and said, Maryam, iawa Elohim has magnified
your name, and you shall be blessed in all the generations of the earth.
[03] And Maryam rose up in those days with great joy, and went with haste into the highlands, into a
village of the towns of Yhudah:
[04] And she came to the house of Zekaryah, to Elisheba the daughter of Amminidab, sister of Nahshon,
her kinswoman: and she knocked at the door, and saluted Elisheba.
[05] And it came to pass, when Elisheba heard the salutation of Maryam, that the babe leaped in her
cavity, and she cast aside the scarlet, (as it is wri.en, the scarlet shall be double-spun).

[06] And Elisheba, being filled with Spirit Holy, ran to the door and opened unto her, and spoke with a
great voice, blessing her, and saying:
[07] Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your hollow! and how is it that to me the
mother of my Master should come unto me?
[08] For behold, as soon as the voice of your salutation sounded down into my ears, the babe in my
hollow leaped in exultation!
[09] And blessed is she that faithfully trusted; for there shall be a performance of those things which
were spoken of her from iawa.
[10] But Maryam had forgo.en about the mysteries which the Malak Gabriel had spoken to her, and
now, in remembrance, she gazed up into the heavens, and said:
[11] Adoni, (that is, my Master), who am I that all the generations of the earth should bless me?
[12] Then said Maryam, The Master has increased my soul, and my spirit has rejoiced in Elohim my
Savior; for iawa has regarded the humiliation of his female servant:
[13] For behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
[14] For the mighty Elohim has done great things unto me, and holy is His name:
[15] And His mercy is upon them that fear Him from generation to generation.
[16] He has revealed the strength in His arm:
[17] He has sca.ered the proud in the imagination of their hearts:
[18] He has put down the mighty from their thrones and exalted the humbled:
[19] He has filled the hungry with good things and the rich He has sent away empty:
[20] He has taken hold of Yisrael, His manchild servant, in remembrance of His mercy as He spoke to
our fathers, unto Abraham, and unto his seed forever.
[21] And Maryam abode three months together with Elisheba her kinswoman, and they two wrought
the double-spun scarlet, (as it is wri.en, the scarlet shall be double-spun with two Krubim).
[22] But day by day her own gaster began to swell up; and becoming fearful, Maryam went away to her
own house and hid herself from the sons of Yisrael.
[23] And Maryam was sixteen years of age when these mysteries came to pass within her.
[24] Moreover the time of Elisheba was fulfilled, that she should produce, and she brought forth a son.
[25] And her neighbors and kindred, having heard how iawa had increased His mercy upon her,
also celebrated together with her.
[26] And it came to pass in the eighth day that they came to circumcise the child: and they called him by
the name of his father, Zekaryah.
[27] And answering his mother said, Not so, but his name shall be called Yohanan.
[28] And they said to her, There is none from your kindred who is called by this name.
[29] And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called; and requesting a writing tablet
he wrote, (with a chisel of Enosh), saying, His name is Yohanan, and they were all amazed.
[30] Moreover his mouth and tongue were instantly opened; and he spoke blessings unto Elohim.
[31] And great fear came upon all those dwelling roundabout them; and all these ma.ers were sounded
abroad throughout all the highlands of Yhudah.
[32] And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this
be? for even the hand of iawa was with him!
[33] And his father Zekaryah was full of Spirit Holy, and prophesied, saying:
[34] Blessed be iawa, Elohim of Yisrael, for He has visited and redeemed His people:

[35] And has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David.
[36] As He spoke by the mouth of His holy Neviim which have been since the kosmos began, that we
should be delivered from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us:
[37] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember His holy covenant; the oath which
He swore unto our father Abraham:
[38] That He would grant unto us that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve
Him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.
[39] And moreover you, child, shall be called Navi of the Most High; for you shall go before the
Presence of iawa to prepare His ways:
[40] To give knowledge of deliverance to His people in the sending away of their sins through the tender
mercy of our Elohim:
[41] Whereby the Anatole-Tzemach Rising Light shall look upon us from on High, to shine light upon
those in darkness and si.ing in the shadow of death; to guide our feet in the Way of Peace.
[42] And the manchild grew, and increased, and vigorously strengthened in Spirit, and he was in the
wilderness until the day of his revelation unto Yisrael.

Tzaddikim 5
[01] And when it came to be the sixth month for Maryam, behold, Yoseph returned from his building.
[02] And he entered into his house and found that she was swelling up: and he smote his face, (for it was
before they had convened, and she was found retaining engastri from the Word).
[03] And he threw himself to the ground on sackcloth, and cried out, saying:
[04] With what face shall I look toward iawa my Elohim? and what supplication shall I make
concerning this maiden?
[05] For a parthenos have I received her alongside me, even out of the Sanctuary of iawa, and yet I
did not watch over her!
[06] Who has hunted me down? who has done this evil in my house and defiled the parthenos?
[07] Has not the whole story of Adam been repeated within me?
[08] For just as Adam was in the hour of his gloriousness, and the serpent came and found Eve alone,
and deceived her, in the same way has it happened unto me also!
[09] And Yoseph stood up from the sackcloth, and called her, and said to her, You were under the care of
the Elohim; why have you done this and forgo.en iawa your Elohim?
[10] Why have you brought down your own soul? You were brought up in the most holy things and
received nourishment from the hand of a Malak!
[11] But she wept bi.erly, saying by sheba-oath; I am entirely pure, and have not known a man!
[12] And Yoseph said to her, From where then is that which is in your hollow?
[13] And she said, As iawa my Elohim lives, I know not how it is within me!
[14] And Yoseph feared much, and left her desolate, debating what he should do with her:
[15] And Yoseph said, If I conceal her sin, I find myself fighting against the Torah of iawa.
[16] But if I expose her to the sons of Yisrael, I fear, lest what is in her be angelic, and I shall be found
delivering up innocent blood toward a judgment of death: what therefore shall I do with her?
[17] And Yoseph, being a Tzaddik, thought within himself to put her away privately; but as he was in
bewilderment, and pondering much concerning these things, behold, night descended upon him:
[18] And the Malak of iawa appeared to him by way of dream revelation, saying:

[19] Yoseph, son of David, fear not to receive the maiden, your helpmate Maryam, for that which is
being generated in her is from Spirit, it is holy:
[20] Moreover a son shall be produced, (tikto, plant life), and you shall surname his name i}h, for he
shall deliver his people from their sins.
[21] But this whole thing was done so that what is spoken from iawa by way of haNavi Yeshayahω
might be fulfilled, saying:
[22] Behold, the parthenos shall retain engastri, (in belly), and shall produce a son, (tikto, plant life), and
they shall call his name la-vnme, (Em((manou·hl), which is interpreted, El is with us.
[23] And Yoseph arose from the hypnos, and he remembered haNavi, saying, ia the hl is with us,
(Yeshayahω 8:10 OG LXX), and he glorified the Elohim of Yisrael for bestowing His Grace upon him:
[24] And he did as the Malak of iawa had commanded him, and received his wife of youth and wife
of covenant, and from that time he assuredly watched over her.
[25] And he knew her not until she produced a son, (tikto, plant life), and he called his name i}h.
[26] But Anan the Scribe came unto him, and said to him, Yoseph, why is it you have not appeared in
our assembly? (for Yoseph was an Elder).
[27] And he said to him, Because I was weary from the way and rested the first day.
[28] And Anan turned and saw Maryam being swelled up: and he departed, running off to the Kohen,
saying to him, Yoseph of whom you have testified has commi.ed a grievous offense!
[29] And the Kohen said, How is that? and he said, The parthenos is defiled, whom Yoseph received
alongside out of the Sanctuary of iawa!
[30] And he has stolen her nuptials; and has not revealed it to the sons of Yisrael!
[31] And answering, the Kohen said, Are you sure that Yoseph has done these things? and Anan the
Scribe said to him, Send officers, and you will find the parthenos swelling up!
[32] So the officers went, and they found it as he said; and they brought her together with Yoseph as one
to the tribunal.
[33] And the chief Kohen said, Maryam, why have you done this? and why have you brought down
your soul, and forgo.en iawa your Elohim?
[34] You were brought up in the most holy things and received nourishment from the hand of a Malak,
and learned His hymns, and danced in His Presence: why have you done this?
[35] And she wept bi.erly, saying by sheba-oath, By the Living iawa Elohim, I am entirely pure
before Him, and I know not a man.
[36] And the Kohen said to Yoseph, Why have you done this?
[37] Moreover Yoseph said, By the Living iawa my Elohim, and by His Living X}R the Witness of
His Truth: I am entirely pure concerning her.
[38] And the Kohen said, Bear no false witness but speak the truth; have you not stolen her nuptials?
and have you not concealed it from the sons of Yisrael?
[39] Have you not refused to bow your head to the mighty Hand so that your seed might be blessed?
[40] Yoseph remained silent, and the Kohen said, Surrender the parthenos whom you received alongside
you out of the Sanctuary of iawa.
[41] And Yoseph stood, becoming tearful; and the chief Kohen said, I will have you drink of the water of
conviction of iawa, and it shall make manifest your sin in your eyes.
[42] And taking it the Kohen gave Yoseph to drink, and sent him down into the wilderness: but he came
forth out of the wilderness blameless.

[43] At the same time the Kohen gave Maryam to drink, and sent her down into the wilderness: but she
ascended out of the wilderness blameless.
[44] And all the people were astonished that no sin had appeared in them.
[45] And the Kohen said, If iawa Elohim has not made manifest any sin in you, then neither do I
judge you: and he released them.
[46] And Yoseph took alongside Maryamne and departed, going away to his own house, rejoicing and
glorifying the Elohim Yisrael.

Tzaddikim 6
[01] But there came forth an order of force from the aw by way of king Herod, (that is, from the
Alpha-Omega, through king Herod, απο του Α-ος-Του του Ηρωδου βασιλεως), for as many whosoever
they be to register in Beit-Lehem of Yhudah, (that their names be wri.en in the heavens).
[02] And Yoseph said, I shall register my sons; but what shall I do with this maiden?
[03] How shall I register her? As my wife? I have been shamed! As my daughter? All the sons of Yisrael
know that she is not my daughter: let this day of iawa be so done as He pleases.
[04] And he saddled the donkey and set her upon it; and his son led, and Shamuel accompanied them.
[05] And they approached the third milestone, and Yoseph turned and saw her gloomy; and he said to
himself, Perhaps what is in her is causing a tempest in her.
[06] And yet again Yoseph turned and saw her laughing, and he said to her:
[07] Maryamne, what is this about you, that I see in your countenance one time no doubt laughter, but
the other time surely sorrow?
[08] And she said to him, Because, Yoseph, I see two people with my eyes: one weeping and lamenting,
the other rejoicing and exulting, (to wit, six months in oil and myrrh, six months in sweet odours).
[09] Moreover it came to pass in their approaching near that the days were fulfilled wherein she should
produce, (tikto, plant life).
[10] And as they were traversing through the midst of dromedaries, Maryamne said to him, Yoseph,
bring me down from off the donkey; for what is in me presses upon me to come forth!
[11] And he took her down from the donkey, and said, Where shall I take you to hide your nakedness?
[12] And he found a cave nearby, and led her in, and he stationed his sons beside her.
[13] And Yoseph went out to seek a midwife in the countryside of Beit-Lehem.
[14] And I Yoseph Yaakob had been walking and was walking but not walking:
[15] And I gazed toward the vault of the heavens and I saw it standing still:
[16] And I looked into the sky and when I did I saw it u.erly disturbed:
[17] And I noticed all the birds of the heavens and the sky were keeping silent:
[18] And I looked upon the earth and saw what looked to be the circle of a bowl:
[19] And the workers were reclining and their hands were laying placed within the bowl:
[20] And those that were biting surely were not biting:
[21] And those that were raising surely were not raising:
[22] And those that were lifting to their mouths surely were not lifting:
[23] But the face of every one was looking upward to the heavens:
[24] And I saw a flock of sheep being driven yet the sheep were standing still:
[25] And the shepherd raised his hand to drive the sheep but it froze from up above him:
[26] And I looked upon the channel of the river seeing kid-goats at the brink:

[27] And their mouths were opened up unto the water but they surely were not drinking.
[28] Then suddenly everything returned to its natural course.
[29] And I saw a woman coming down from the highlands, and she said to me:
[30] O Enosh, where are you going? and I said, I seek a midwife of the Hebrews.
[31] And answering she said to me, Are you of Yisrael? and I said to her, Yea.
[32] Then she said, And who is it that has brought forth in the cave?
[33] And I said, She is a gift of betrothal unto me.
[34] And she said to me, Is she not your wife? and I said to her, She is Maryah, who was brought up in
the most holy things of the Sanctuary of iawa, and by lot I obtained her to wife:
[35] And yet she is not my wife, but conceived retaining the seed of the Word from Spirit Holy.
[36] And the midwife said, How can this be true?
[37] Then said Yoseph unto her, Come and see!
[38] So the midwife went with him.
[39] And coming near they stood by the cave, and behold, a luminous cloud enveloped the cave.
[40] And the midwife said, My soul has been magnified this day, for mine eyes have seen a strange
paradoxical thing: how deliverance unto Yisrael is indeed brought forth!
[41] And by and by the cloud began to dissipate from off the cave, and a great light shone within the
cave, a light which eyes could not bear.
[42] And the light began to decrease li.le by li.le, until suddenly a babe appeared, and he went and
received the nourishment of his mother Maryam.
[43] And the midwife cried out, and said, O how great to me is this day today! For I have seen this
marvelous spectacle of renewal!
[44] And the midwife went forth out of the cave, and met up with Salome, and said to her, Salome!
Salome! I now have the vision of renewal to fully relate to you:
[45] The parthenos indeed brings forth; even though her nature admits it not!
[46] And Salome said, By the Living iawa my Elohim, unless I examine her condition with my own
hand I will not believe that a parthenos has brought forth!
[47] And the midwife Salome went back in, and said to Maryam, Brace yourself; for there is no small
controversy having arisen within me concerning you!
[48] And Salome placed her own hand, and inspected, and Salome cried out, saying:
[49] Woe unto me! for my iniquity and my faithlessness! For I have put the Living Elohim to the test;
and behold, my hand is withering up as if having been burned in the fire!
[50] And she fell to her knees before the Absolute Master, saying, O Elohim of my fathers, remember
that I am of the seed of Abraham and YiYhak and Yaakob:
[51] Make me not an example unto bnei Yisrael, but restore me to the ebioniy, for You know that in Your
name, Master, I have performed my service, and I have received my wage at Your hand.
[52] And behold, the Malak of iawa stood, saying to her, Shalom Salome, the Master of All has
heard your prayer: put your hand to the child, and bear him up, and you shall have peace and joy.
[53] And Shalome went and lifted him up, saying, I will do obeisance to him; for truly a mighty king is
born unto Yisrael! and Shalome was immediately healed, and went forth from the cave set right.
[54] And behold, there came a voice, saying, Shalom Shalome, tell not the paradoxical thing which you
have seen until the manchild has entered into YeruShalem.

Tzaddikim 7
[01] Moreover, concerning the i}h being born in Beit-Lehem of Yhudah in the days of king Herod,
behold, Magi from the Anatole Tzemach Rising Light appeared at Yerushalem:
[02] And Yoseph was ready to go into Yhudah, but there came to be a great disturbance in Beit-Lehem
over the appearance of the Magi from Anatole Dam-meshek, who said:
[03] Where is the one producing, (tikto, plant life), a king of the Yhudim? for we have seen his Star in the
Anatole Tzemach Rising Light, and have come to do obeisance unto him.
[04] But Herod the king having heard thereof was troubled, and all Yerushalem with him, and he
dispatched officers to summon the Magi.
[05] And gathering all of the chief Kohanim, and the Scribes of the people, he inquired by them in the
praetorion, saying, How is it wri.en of the Anointed One? where is he produced? (tikto, plant life).
[06] And they said to him, In Beit-Lehem Ephrathah of Yhudah, for so it is wri.en in haNavi:
[07] And you Beit-Lehem Ephrathah, land of Yhudah, not the least you are among the rulers of Yhudah:
for out of you shall issue forth the Ruler who will shepherd My people Yisrael.
[08] Then Herod released them, and he interrogated the Magi privately, saying to them, What sign have
you seen concerning the birth of a king?
[09] And the Magi said, We have seen a Star of great magnification shining among these stars, and
obscuring their light, so that the stars appeared not:
[10] And therefore we understood that a king is being born unto Yisrael; and thus we have come to bow
in obeisance and do honor unto him.
[11] And Herod diligently inquired precisely from them concerning the timing of the appearance of the
Star, and they answered, saying:
[12] It is wri.en in our Law, Take the sum of all the community by their kindreds, by the houses of their
fathers, with the number of their names:
[13] Every male by their heads, from twenty years of age and upwards; every one that is able to enter
into the forces.
[14] Therefore our sages have said, Every man who freely volunteers to join the Council of the
Community, he shall be examined on his intelligence and his deeds by the man who is the overseer at
the head of the Many:
[15] And if he is suited to the discipline, he is a proselyte; he will bring him into the Covenant that he
may be converted to the truth and turn away from all perversity:
[16] And he shall instruct him in all of the ordinances of the Community, and after, when he presents
himself to the Many, they shall consider his case; and according to what fate decrees following the
decision of the Many, he shall either approach or depart.
[17] And when he approaches the Council, he shall not touch the pure food of the Many until he has
been examined concerning his spirit and deeds, and until he has completed one full year, he is a babe,
and let him not mingle his property with that of the Many.
[18] And when he has completed one full year in the midst of the Community, the Many shall consider
his case concerning his intelligence and deeds with regard to the Torah:
[19] And if fate decrees that he approach the Company of the Community, following the decision of the
Kohanim and the majority of the members of their Covenant, his property and his wages shall be
handed over to the overseer of the revenues of the Many:
[20] But it shall be inscribed to his credit and shall not be spent to the benefit of the Many:

[21] He shall not touch the drink of the Many until he has completed a second full year in the midst of
the members of the Community: he is a manchild-servant.
[22] And when he has completed the second full year they shall examine him; and according to the
decision of the Many, and if fate decrees that he approach the Community, he shall be enrolled and
inscribed in his rank in the midst of his brethren.
[23] So Herod gave them leave, and sent them to Beit-Lehem, saying, Go search out the child; but as
soon as you have made discovery, report to me, so that I also may come and do obeisance unto him.
[24] The Magi therefore having heard of a king went forth, and behold, the Star Malak which they had
seen in the Anatole Tzemach Rising Light went leading on before them:
[25] And having known the Star Malak, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joyfulness, until having
come, they entered into the cave.
[26] And behold, having entered into the abode, the Star Malak stood at the head of the manchild; and
the Magi, discerning the manchild with his mother Maryam, fell down doing obeisance unto him.
[27] And opening up their saddlebags they brought forth treasures and presented gifts unto him: gold,
and frankincense, and myrrh of smyrna.
[28] And being supernaturally warned by revelation of the Star Malak, not to return to Herod, they
departed by another way to their own region.
[29] Moreover as they departed, behold, the Malak of iawa appeared by dream revelation unto
Yoseph, saying, Rise up, take alongside the child and his mother, and flee into Egypt:
[30] And stay there until I speak to you; for Herod is about to seek out the child to destroy him.
[31] Then Herod became enraged, perceiving that he was despised of the Magi, and he sent forth to take
up all the manchild-servants from two years and under in the forces.
[32] And having heard that the manchild-servants were being taken away; Maryam cut away the child
in the fear of the Yhudim, and swathed him in cloth strips, and laid him in a ca.le feeding trough.
[33] And Yoseph arose by night, taking the manchild and his mother, and departed into Egypt.
[34] And he was there until the expiration of Herod, so that what is spoken from iawa by way of
haNavi might be fulfilled, saying, Out of Egypt have I called My Son.
[35] Likewise Elisheba, having heard they were searching for Yohanan, took him and went up into the
highlands, looking roundabout for a place where to conceal him; but there was no place to hide.
[36] Then with a great sigh, Elisheba said, O mountain of Elohim, Receive me, mother and son! (for
Elisheba was not able to ascend), and immediately the mountain parted, opening up, and received them:
[37] And a great light shone roundabout them, for the Malak of iawa was with them to guard them
in the way, and they ran the valley of the mountains as in the earthquake in the days of king Uziyah.
[38] (And the valley of the mountains reaches unto Beit haEYel, that is, the House of the Side).

Tzaddikim 8
[01] And Herod was in a rage of madness, and he commanded that all the principal manchild-servants
of the entire nation, from two years in the forces and under, should be summoned unto him.
[02] And they were a great number that came from all twelve tribes, for those of the whole nation were
called, and all heard of this call:
[03] And death was the penalty of such as should despise the epistles that were sent out.
[04] And now the king was in a mad rage against them all; the innocent as well as those that had
afforded even the slightest grounds for accusation.

[05] And when they were come, he ordered them all to be shut up and hedged in at the hippodrome,
and sent for his sister and her husband, and he spoke thus unto them:
[06] I shall die in a short time, my pains are so great, which death ought to be cheerfully borne and
welcomed by all men, but what principally troubles me is this:
[07] That I shall die without being lamented, and without such mourning as men would usually expect
with the death of a king.
[08] He desired therefore, that as soon as they see that he had given up the breath, they should have
soldiers stationed roundabout the hippodrome while they do not yet know that he is dead:
[09] And that they should not declare his death until this be done; but that they should give orders to
have those that are in the hippodrome shot through with their arrows.
[10] And that this slaughter of all the principal manchild-servants of the whole nation of Yisrael would
cause that he shall not miss to rejoice on two accounts:
[11] That as he is dying they will secure him that his will be executed in what he charges them to do;
and that he shall have the honor of a noteworthy and memorable lamentation at his funeral.
[12] So he deplored his condition, with dragon tears in his eyes, and entreated them by the kindness due
from them, as being his kindred, and by the faithfulness they owed to him:
[13] And he begged of them that they would not hinder him of this great lamentation of the whole
nation at his funeral; and they promised not to transgress his command.
[14] Thus the manchild servants were rounded up in Beit-Lehem, and all the coasts thereof, from two
years in the forces and below, according to the time which Herod had exacted from the Magi.
[15] Then was fulfilled what is spoken through haNavi Yirmeyahω, saying:
[16] A voice in Ramah was heard, weeping and much lamentation; Rachel weeping for her teknon,
(tikto, plant life), and she would not be comforted, for they were not.
[17] Also haNavi Miykah, saying, Now shall the daughter of Ephraim be encompassed in a hedge of
distress that is determined against us: with a rod they shall smite the tribes of Yisrael on the cheek.
[18] Moreover Herod also sent officers unto Zekaryah in search of Yohanan, saying:
[19] Where have you hidden your son? but he answered, saying to them, I am a minister under Elohim
and continually a.ending in His Sanctuary: how shall I know where my son is?
[20] And the officers went away and reported all these things to Herod.
[21] And being enraged, Herod said, His son is about to become king over Yisrael!
[22] And he dispatched his officers to him again, saying, Tell me the truth: where is your son? for you
know that your blood is under the power of my hand!
[23] And the officers departed and announced to Zekaryah these things:
[24] And Zekaryah said, I am a witness of Elohim if you shed my blood: for the Absolute Master will
receive my spirit, for you would shed innocent blood at the vestibule of the Sanctuary of iawa.
[25] And Zekaryah was slain at daybreak; his voice was cut off, and he was silenced between the naos
Sanctuary and the altar of adamah.
[26] And the sons of Yisrael knew not that he was slain, and at the hour of the salutation the Kohanim
went out; but he came not forth to meet them after the custom of the BrekYah blessing of ZkarYah.
[27] So the Kohanim stood waiting for Zekaryah, to salute him at the prayer, and to glorify the Most
High Elohim: but with much delay they all began to fear.
[28] Moreover a certain one of them gathered courage, entering into the Sanctuary, and he saw
congealed blood beside the incense altar of iawa.

[29] And he heard a voice crying, and saying, Zekaryah has been slain, and his blood shall not be wiped
away until the Avenger is come.
[30] And having heard this saying, he was terrified, and he went out and announced to the Kohanim all
things whatsoever he had seen and heard.
[31] And taking courage they went in, and saw what had happened: and the ceilings of the Sanctuary
were howling, and their tapestries were rent from the top even to the bo.om.
[32] And they did not find his corpse; but they found his blood having been turned to stone.
[33] And they were terrified, and went out, and reported to the people that Zekaryah had been slain.
[34] And all the tribes of the people heard, and weeped, and lamented, and they mourned ZkarYah ben
BrekYah for three days and three nights.
[35] Moreover, amid those three days, the Kohanim deliberated who should be appointed to stand in the
place of Zekaryah the Kohen:
[36] And the lot fell to Shimeon; for he it was to whom it had been revealed by the Holy Spirit that he
should not see death until he should see the X}R of iawa.
[37] But it came to pass, upon the expiration of Herod, that Shalome released the manchild servant
Yisrael from the hippodrome, wherein Herod had hedged them in, having marked them for death:
[38] One from every house of the all Yisrael and olive tree of iawa.
[39] And they returned to their brethren as it is wri.en in haNeviim Miykah and Yirmeyahω.
[40] And again, from the same place in haNavi Miykah, The one producing shall produce, (tikto, plant
life), and the remnant of their brethren shall return to the sons of Yisrael.
[41] And again, from haNavi Yirmeyahω, Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears:
for your work shall be rewarded, says iawa, and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
[42] And there is hope in your end, says iawa, your sons shall come again to their own border.
[43] Ephraim is My beloved son, a pleasant manchild servant unto Me, for because My Word is in him;
in remembering I will remember him, and thus I will hasten to help him:
[44] I will surely have mercy upon him, says iawa.
[45] And with the expiration of Herod, behold, the Malak of iawa appeared by dream revelation
unto Yoseph in Egypt, saying:
[46] Rise up, take alongside the manchild and his mother, and go forth into the land of Yisrael; for those
who sought the soul of the manchild have died off.
[47] He then rose up, taking alongside the manchild and his mother, and came into the land of Yisrael.
[48] But hearing that Archelaus was ruling the Yhudim, in the place of his father Herod, he was fearful
of turning aside there:
[49] Likewise, being warned by a supernal revelation, he withdrew into the Galilah-Circuit districts.
[50] And having come he dwelt in a town being called Nazareth, so that what is spoken through haNavi
might be fulfilled, that he shall be called-set-apart NaYωrai, (yrvjn — Yeshayahω 49:6).
[51] Moreover I myself, Yaakob, he who is writing this account in Yerushalem, with a tumult having
arisen at that time over of the death of Herod:
[52] I concealed myself, and went away into the wilderness until the uproar in Yerushalem had ended,
glorifying the Absolute Master who has bestowed His Wisdom that I might write this very account.

Tzaddikim 9
[01] Moreover in the same days, that is, the days of Archelaus, Yohanan the Immerser came preaching in
the wilderness of Yhudah, saying:
[02] Repent, change your hearts and minds, for the kingdom of the heavens is at hand!
[03] For this is he of whom it is spoken by way of haNavi Yeshayahω, saying:
[04] Kol Kore bamidbar: Voice of a Cryer in the wilderness, Prepare yourselves the Way of iawa,
make yourselves straight His paths.
[05] And Yohanan himself was cast about in a most humble a.ire; for his raiment was of camel hair, and
he had a pouch of skins about his hips like Enosh.
[06] Furthermore he put shed animal hair about his body wherever it was not covered with his own
hair, for he was moreover an hairy man like Eliyahω:
[07] And his countenance was like that of a wild man; for the visage of his face could not be discerned
because of the length of the hair of the Naziyri crown of his head.
[08] And he came preaching to the Yhudim, offering true freedom, saying:
[09] Elohim has sent me to show you the Way of the Torah, by which you shall be freed from these
tyrants: and no mortal shall rule over you, but only the Most High who has sent me.
[10] And when the people heard this good message they rejoiced.
[11] Moreover he did nothing else but to proclaim the kingdom of Elohim and immerse them in the
stream of Yarden, and let them go, warning them that they should renounce all evil deeds:
[12] And that soon they would be given a king who would free them, and put all the wicked into
subjection; but the same king himself would be subject to no one but the King Most High above him.
[13] And they brought him before Archelaus, and when the Doctors of the Torah had assembled, they
asked him who he was and where he had been until then.
[14] And he answered, saying, I am but Enosh, and as such the Spirit of Elohim has called me; and I live
on treetop dew and wild honey from the field, (like Yωnathan the son of Shaul).
[15] But when they threatened to torture him if he did not desist from his words and deeds, he
answered, saying, It is needful rather for you to desist from your shameful works and to submit
yourselves unto iawa.
[16] And one of the Scribes, Shimon, rose up in anger, saying, We read the divine scrolls every day: but
you, only now having come forth like a wild beast from the woods:
[17] You dare teach us and lead the multitudes astray with your accursed speeches?
[18] And Shimon launched himself forward to rend his cloak, but the Immerser stood, unflinching, and
in reproach he said to them all:
[19] I will not reveal unto you the mystery, Who is among you: for you desire it not, and because of this
unspeakable misfortune has befallen you, and that of your own doing.
[20] And when he had thus spoken, he went away to the other side of the YorDan; and since he was the
son of a Kohen, no man ventured to hinder him: and he continued to do as he had done before.
[21] And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Kaesar Augustos, that all the
habitable Land should be registered; and all went to register themselves, every one to his own town.
[22] This is the first registration done when Kurenio was governing Syria, (as it is wri.en in haNavi
Daniel, Let your servants be proven ten days, and likewise, You shall have tribulation ten days).
[23] And Yoseph also went up from the Galilah out of the town of Nazareth, into Yhudah, to the city of
David which is called Beit-Lehem, being of the house and patrilineal descent of David:

[24] To register himself together with Maryam, his betrothed, swelling from within.
[25] Moreover it came to pass in their being thereabout that the days were fulfilled that she should
produce, (tikto plant life).
[26] And she produced her firstborn son, and swathed him in cloth strips, and reclined him in a ca.le
feeding trough on the account of that there was no place for them to lodge in.
[27] And there were shepherds in the same country; for in this season they were camping out in the
fields, and keeping watch by night over their flocks which were in the time of producing.
[28] And behold, the Malak of iawa stood above them, and the glory of iawa shone all around
them: and they greatly feared, being amazed.
[29] And the Malak said to them, Be not afraid, for behold, I announce to you good tidings of great joy
which shall be unto all the people:
[30] For unto you this day was produced a Savior, X}R K}C, in the city of David:
[31] And this is the miraculous sign unto you; You shall find a babe, swathed in cloth swaddling strips,
and reclining in a ca.le feeding trough!
[32] And suddenly there was together with the Malak a multitude of heavenly forces praising Elohim,
saying, Glory in Elohim the Most High, and on earth peace among men of good will.
[33] And it came to pass, as the Malakim departed from them into the heavens, that the shepherds said
to one another, Let us now go therefore unto Beit-Lehem, and see this Word that is come to pass, which
the Master has made known unto us!
[34] And they came with haste, and found both Maryam, and Yoseph, and the babe having been
swaddled in cloth strips and hidden in the ca.le feeding trough!
[35] And having seen it they certified the Word which was spoken to them concerning this child:
[36] And all that heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds.
[37] But Maryam kept all these sayings closely knit together combining them in her heart.
[38] And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising Elohim for all the things that they had heard
and seen; even exactly as it had been spoken to them.
[39] And when eight days were fulfilled they circumcised the child, and his name was called i}h, the
surname from the Malak before he was conceived in the hollow.
[40] And when the days of their purification according to the Torah of Moshe were fulfilled, they
brought him to Yerushalem, to present him unto iawa, as wri.en it is in the Torah of iawa —
[41] Every male opening the matrix shall be set-apart-called holy unto iawa —
[42] And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is stated in the Torah of iawa, A pair of
turtledoves or two young pigeon doves.
[43] And behold, there was a man in Yerushalem named Shimeon, and this man was an upright
Tzaddik, and circumspect, looking for the consolation of Yisrael: and the Spirit was holy upon him.
[44] And it had been divinely oracled unto him under the Spirit of the Holy One that he should not see
death before he had seen the Anointed One of iawa.
[45] Turtledove the first: And he came in the Spirit into the Sanctuary, and when the parents brought in
the manchild i}h, so that they might do concerning him after the manner of the Torah:
[46] He then received him into his arms, and blessed the Most High Elohim, and said:
[47] Now let your servant depart in peace, O Master, according to your Word:
[48] For mine eyes have seen your shelem-soterion peace offering of deliverance, which you have
prepared before the face of all the people:

[49] A light for revelation to the nations and the glory of your people Yisrael.
[50] And his father and mother were wondering at the things which were spoken concerning him:
[51] And Shimeon blessed them, and said unto his mother Maryam:
[52] Behold, this one shall lay outstretched toward the downfall and the rising again of many in Yisrael,
and for a sign which shall be spoken against.
[53] Yea, and of you, even your own soul shall a rhomphaia sword pass through; so that the thoughts of
many hearts may be revealed.
[54] Turtledove the second: And prophetess Hannah was there, a daughter of Phanuel, from tribe Asher:
[55] The same was advanced many days, having lived with a gaber seven years from her maidenhood:
[56] And she was a widow of eighty four years who never departed from the Sanctuary, fasting and
ministering, in supplications night and day.
[57] And she stood in that very hour, and confessed in turn, with praise unto Elohim:
[58] And she speaks concerning him for all those awaiting the redemption of YeruShalem.
[59] And when they had accomplished all things according to the Torah of iawa they returned into
the Galilah, to their own town, Nazareth.
[60] And the child grew and increased, filling up with wisdom, and the grace of Elohim was upon him.
[61] Moreover his parents traversed each year to Yerushalem for the feast of the Passover:
[62] And when it came to be twelve years they ascended according to the custom of the feast MaYot.
[63] And having completed the days, as they were returning, the manchild servant i}h remained behind
in Yerushalem, and his parents knew it not:
[64] For he would customarily be in the caravan; and having gone forth the journey of a day, they
sought for him among their kindred and acquaintances:
[65] And when they found him not, they returned to Yerushalem, seeking for him.
[66] And it came to pass with three days that they found him in the Sanctuary, si.ing in the midst of the
Teachers and Doctors of the Torah, both hearing them and questioning them:
[67] And all that heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
[68] And when they saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, Teknon, why have you
dealt with us in such a manner? Behold, your father and I sought for you grieving.
[69] And he said to them, How is it that you sought for me? You understood not that I must be about the
things of my Father?
[70] And they understood not the Rhema-Word which he spoke to them.
[71] And he descended with them, and came to Nazareth, and he was subject unto them: but all these
sayings his mother thoroughly observed in her heart.
[72] And i}h advanced in wisdom, and stature, and grace with Elohim and men.

[01] In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberias Kaesar, Potes Peilat governing both territories of
Yhudah, (behold, the number of the names, rsyq shyrbyt and [alp stvp, and Potes is Ponti, that
is, a Pontif, like Poti-Pherah, Kohen of On, city of the Sun), Herod being tetrarch of the Galili:
[02] Philippo his brother being tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachoniti, Lysanias being tetrarch of
Abilene, Anan and Kaiapha being chief Kohanim, (the number of the names, Αννα και Καιαφα) —
[03] The Rhema-Word of Elohim came unto Yohanan ben ZkarYah in the wilderness, saying:

[04] There was an Enosh from Gath Hepher, Yonah son of Truth, and the Word of iawa came to
Yonah the son of Amathi, saying, Rise up, and go to the great city Nineveh, and preach in it:
[05] For the report concerning its wickedness has come up before Me.
[06] But Yona Iωna rose up to flee unto Tarshish, from the Presence of iawa, and he went down to
Yapho, that is, the Beautiful, and he found a vessel going to Tarshish.
[07] So he paid his fare and embarked the vessel to sail with them to Utharshishah, (that is the number
of one thousand two hundred twenty one, hwywr[v), from the Presence of iawa.
[08] But iawa caused a great wind to come down upon the sea; and there came a great storm upon
the sea, and the vessel was in danger of being broken up.
[09] And the mariners were alarmed, and every one cried out to his Elohim: and they cast the wares that
were in the vessel into the sea so that it might be lightened of them.
[10] But Yona Iωna was gone down into the cavity of the vessel, and was in the hypnos of a deep sleep:
[11] And the shipmaster came to him, saying, Why are you sleeping? Arise, O sleeper! and call upon
your Elohim: perhaps your Elohim may deliver us, that we perish not.
[12] And every man said to his neighbor, Come, let us cast lots and find out for whose sake this mischief
is come upon us.
[13] So they cast lots, and the lot fell upon Yona Iωna, and they said to him, Tell us, what is your
occupation, and from where do you come, and of what country and what people are you?
[14] And he said to them, I am a Hebrew servant of iawa, and I worship iawa Elohim of the
heavens, He who made the sea and the dry land.
[15] Then the men feared exceedingly, and said to him, What is this that you have done? for the men
knew that he was fleeing from the Presence of iawa, for he had told them.
[16] And they said to him, What shall we do with you, that the sea may be calm to us? for the sea rose
up and lifted up its waves exceedingly.
[17] And Yonah said to them, Take me up, and cast me into the sea, and the sea shall be calm to you: for I
know that because of me this great tempest is upon you.
[18] But the men rowed hard to return to the land, and they were not able; for the sea rose up all the
more, and grew more and more tempestuous against them.
[19] And they cried unto iawa, saying, we beseech you, iawa, let us not perish because of the
soul of this man, bring not the blood of a Tzaddik upon us: for you, iawa, have done as you willed.
[20] And they took Yonah and cast him out into the sea, and the sea ceased from its raging, and the men
feared iawa very greatly: and they offered sacrifice unto iawa and vowed vows.
[21] Moreover iawa commanded a great dagfish to swallow up Yonah: and Yonah was in the cavity
of the great dagfish three yamim and three laylot.
[22] And Yonah prayed unto iawa his Elohim out of the cavity of the dagfish, saying, I cry in my
affliction unto iawa my Elohim, and He hears me, even my cry out of the cavity of Sheol.
[23] You hear my voice, though you have cast me into the depths of the heart of the sea, and the floods
have encompassed me, and all of your billows and waves have passed over upon me.
[24] And I said, I am cast out of your Presence: shall I indeed look again to your holy Sanctuary? water is
poured roundabout me to the soul, the lowest abyss has encompassed me about, my head is gone down
to the clefts of the mountains:

[25] I am descended into the earth, whose bars are everlasting barriers, and yet, iawa my Elohim, let
my ruined soul be restored: for when my soul was failing within me, I remembered iawa, let my
prayer come unto you in your holy Sanctuary.
[26] Those observing vanities and lies have forsaken their own mercy; but I will sacrifice unto you with a
voice of praise giving thanks: all that I have vowed I will pay unto you, iawa my Salvation.
[27] And iawa commanded the great dagfish, and he came up by the coastline: and there Dagon
spewed Yonah out of his cavity, and cast him up onto the dry land.
[28] But Dagon the great dagfish came too close to the shore; and he was snared in the mud and the
reeds which flourish in the waters offshore in those parts.
[29] And Dagon perished off the coast that faces MagaDan, and half his carcass was left exposed to the
sun and the air, for the waters were shallow: and all the fowls came and summered on his carcass.
[30] And it came to pass that there was nothing left of Dagon but the framework of his bones; and the
isle of the carcass of Dagon became known as Ptωma Dagon, that is to say, Carcass of Dagon.
[31] Moreover Ptωma is an anagram for Patmω, which two are the same gematria as Utharshishah, that
is, one thousand two hundred twenty one, and Patmω is thus an idiom for the body of the flesh.
[32] For wheresoever the ptωma-carcass may be, there shall the eagles be gathered together, (Patmω).
[33] And the Word of iawa came to Yonah the second time, saying, Rise up, and go to the great city
Nineveh, and preach in it according to that which I commanded you:
[34] If your right eye entices you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is be.er for you that
one of your members should perish and not that your whole body be cast into GeHennom.
[35] And if your right hand entices you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is be.er for you
that one of your members should perish and not that your whole body be cast into GeHennom.
[36] And if your foot is always running swiftly into mischief, cut it off and cast it from you:
[37] For it is be.er for you to enter into the kingdom of Elohim with one foot, rather than having two
feet to be cast into perpetual fire of GeHennom:
[38] For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt: wherefore the
worm of Yaakob shall never die and the fire of Life cannot be quenched.
[39] And Yohanan prophesied, saying, Three evil shepherds I cut off in one Yerach, (that is, a lunar
month), and my soul loathed them, and their soul likewise hated me.
[40] And I said to them, I will not feed you; that which is dying let die, and that which is cut off let be
u.erly cut off, and let the rest devour every one the flesh of her neighbor!
[41] And thus was haNavi Yohanan; in the isle of Ptωma Patmω by way of the Word of Elohim and the
Testimony of i}h, and he heard behind him a great voice like a trumpet.
[42] And turning to see the voice that spoke, he saw the seven golden lamps of the body of Tarshish, (as
it is wri.en in haNavi Daniel), that is, Anatole-Acia from the days of Aca king of Yhudah.

Tzaddikim 11
[01] Beginning of the good message of i}h X}R exactly as wri.en in haNavi Yeshayahω:
[02] Thus says ia the hlwim to His Meshiach-Anointed One, to Kuresh-Kυρος, whose right hand I
will take hold upon to subdue nations before him, and I will loose the loins of kings:
[03] I will open the two leaved gates before you, and the gates will not be shut:
[04] I will go before your face, and I will make the crooked places straight: I will burst into pieces the
gates of brass, and the bars of iron I will hew down.

[05] And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and the hidden riches of the secret places: that you
may know that I am ia the hlwim, who calls you by your name hlwi israhl.
[06] For the sake of My servant Yaakob, and Yisrael My elect, I have even called you by your name: I
have surnamed you, though you have not known Me!
[07] I am ia the hlwim and there is none other, there is no Elohim apart from Me: I gird you, though
you have not known Me:
[08] That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the shades of the west, that there is
cessation apart from Me: I am ia the hlwim, and there is none other.
[09] I form the light and cut down darkness, I make peace and cut down evil; I am ia the hlwim
who does all these things.
[10] Let the heavens distill droplets from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth
open up, and let salvation spring forth, and let righteousness sprout up together-united; I am ia, the
One who cuts it down unto you.
[11] What be.er have I made than what is like the clay of the Po.er? Shall the ploughman plough the
earth the whole day? Shall the clay say to the Po.er, What have you made? your work has no hands?
[12] Woe to the one who says to the Father, What is this you have bego.en? or to the Mother, What is
this you have brought forth?
[13] Thus says ia the hlwim, the Holy One Yisrael, and He who made the things which are to come:
Do you question Me concerning My sons? Do you command Me concerning the work of My hands?
[14] I have made the earth and cut down Adam upon it: with My hand I have stretched out the heavens,
and all their host I have commanded.
[15] I raised him up with the King of Righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build My
city, and he shall let go My captives, not for price nor reward, says ia haTzabaoth.
[16] Thus says ia haTzabaoth, the labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans,
men of stature, shall pass over unto you, and they shall become your slaves:
[17] They shall follow behind you bound in fe.ers; they shall cross over to you and do obeisance unto
you: and in you shall they make supplication, for surely El is in you, and there is no other Elohim.
[18] Truly you are an El who hides Himself, Elohei Yisrael, Moshiah: all who oppose themselves shall be
ashamed and confounded, they shall walk in shame, and the isles shall make a dedication unto Me.
[19] Yisrael shall be delivered by iawa with an everlasting salvation: they shall not be ashamed nor
confounded for evermore.
[20] Thus says iawa, Creator of the heavens, the wa, the Elohim who formed the earth and made
it, the One who established it, He that created it not in vain, He that formed it to be inhabited: I am
iawa, and there is none other.
[21] I have not spoken in secret, nor in a dark place of the earth; I said not to the seed of Yaakob, Seek
Me in vain: for I am iawa, speaking righteousness and declaring truth.
[22] Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you that escape of the nations, they have no
knowledge who set up the wood of a carved idol, nor do they who pray to an El that cannot save.
[23] Let it be told, and let them draw near that they may know altogether; Who has declared these
things from the beginning, from that time it was announced to you:
[24] I am ia the hlwim, and there is no other Elohim apart from Me, El Tzaddik, and there is no
Moshiah-Soter-Deliverer without Me.

[25] Look unto Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth, for I am El, and there is no other:
[26] By Myself I have sworn, says iawa, the Righteous Word is gone forth from My mouth and shall
not be subverted, That unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess through ia —
[27] And He will say of Me, My righteousness and strength belong to Him!
[28] And all that separate themselves from Him shall be ashamed; for in iawa shall they be justified,
and all the seed of Yisrael shall Hallu in ia.
[29] Console and comfort My people, says your Elohim; let Levi speak to the heart of YeruShalem and
comfort her: cry unto her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, for she has
received double from the hand of iawa for all her sins.
[30] Kol Kore bamidbar: Voice of the Cryer in the wilderness, Prepare yourselves the Way of iawa,
make straight the pathways of our Elohim.
[31] Behold, I send My Malak before you, to fully prepare your way, and to bring you into the place
which I have prepared.
[32] Take heed to yourself, and hearken unto him, and disobey him not; for he will not give way to you,
for My name is in him, (El-Yahω).
[33] If you will indeed hear My voice, and do all the things I command you, and keep My covenant, you
shall be unto Me a peculiar people above all nations, for the whole earth is Mine:
[34] And you shall be unto Me a royal priesthood, and a holy nation; and these are the words you shall
speak unto bnei Yisrael.
[35] If you will indeed hear My voice, and do all the things I command you, I will be an enemy to your
enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries:
[36] For My Malak shall go forth as your leader, and shall bring you in against the Amori, and Chi.i,
and Perizzi, and Kanaani, and Gergashi, and Evite-Chivvi, and Yebusi, and I will destroy them.
[37] Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hillock shall be humbled, and all the crooked
ways shall be made straight, and the rough places shall be made plains:
[38] And the Glory of iawa shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see the σωτηριον peace-offering
salvation of ia, (the Ram — Breshiyt 22:1-18, Shemot 29:26-28, VaYikra 16:3-5), and that the mouth of
iawa has spoken.
[39] The voice of one saying, Cry! and I said, What shall I cry? all flesh is grass, and all the glory of man
is as the flower of grass:
[40] The grass withers, the flower fades, for Ruach iawa blows upon it: the people are as grass!
[41] The grass withers and the flower fades: but the Rhema-Word of our Elohim abides into the ages.
[42] Go up to the high mountain, you who bring good news to Tzion:
[43] Lift up your voice with strength, you who bring good news to YeruShalem:
[44] Exalt! Fear not, say to the cities of Yhudah, Behold your Elohim!
[45] Behold, iawa is coming with strength, and the Branch of His Arm with dominion: behold, His
reward is with Him, and the work before Him.
[46] He shall tend his flock as a Shepherd, and He shall gather the lambs with His Arm, and He shall
comfort those retaining engastri.
[47] Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out the heavens with a span,
and tallied all the dust of the earth in a measure?
[48] Who has weighed the mountains in scales, and the forests in a balance?

[49] Who has known the mind of iawa, and who has been His counselor to instruct Him?
[50] With whom took He counsel? or who instructed Him? or who taught Him judgment? or who taught
Him knowledge and showed Him the way of understanding?

Tzaddikim 12
[01] And Yohanan the Immerser was in the wilderness, in all the coasts of the Yarden, preaching and
heralding an immersion of teshuωah-repentance toward the sending away of sins.
[02] And Yohanan was clothed with hair of camel, and a pouch of skins about his loins, and he ate
treetop dew and wild honey of the field from the tip of a staff, (as Yωnathan the son of Shaul).
[03] And he it is of whom it is wri.en in the scroll of haNavi Yeshayahω, Kol Kore bamidbar, that is,
Voice of a Cryer in the wilderness, Prepare yourselves the Way of iawa, make your paths straight.
[04] And all the territories of Yhudah, and all the Yerushalemi, and all the circumjacent region
roundabout the Yarden went out to him:
[05] And they were being immersed in the Yarden under him, (under the authority of his doctrine which
is his name), confessing their sins.
[06] But seeing many of the Perushim and Tzaddukim coming out to his immersion, he said to them,
Generation of vipers! Who warned you to flee the imminent wrath?
[07] And thus he said also to the multitudes coming forth to be immersed before him, Offspring of
vipers! Who admonished you to flee the imminent wrath?
[08] And he said to the multitudes, Produce of yourselves therefore fruits worthy of teshuωah change of
heart! And do not think to say within yourselves, We have a father who is Abraham:
[09] For I say unto you that mighty is Elohim to raise up from these stones offspring unto Abraham!
[10] Moreover the axe is now laid to the root of the trees; therefore every tree-branch not producing
good fruit shall be chopped off and cast into the fire!
[11] And the multitudes questioned him, saying, What shall we do that we might be delivered?
[12] But answering, he said to them, The one having two cloaks let share with one having not; and the
one having clean food let do likewise.
[13] And there came also tax collectors to be immersed, and they said to him, Teacher, what shall we do
that we might be delivered?
[14] But he said to them, Do no more than what is prescribed to you for collection.
[15] Moreover those going out to war asked him, saying, What shall we do that we might be delivered?
[16] But he said to them, Do no intimidation, neither defraud, and be content with your rations.
[17] And the people were in expectation, and all were deliberating in their hearts concerning Yohanan,
whether he might be the X}R.
[18] Upon knowing they were thinking these things, he said to them all, I indeed immerse you with
water toward teshuωah; but the one coming behind me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not fit to
bear, and whose sandal straps I am not fit to even stoop down and loosen:
[19] He shall immerse you in holy wind and fire! Whose winnowing fork is by the power of his hand,
and he shall thoroughly purge his threshing floor:
[20] And the true wheat he shall gather into the granary, but the chaff he shall consume with
unquenchable fire!
[21] Truly therefore with this and many other exhortations Yohanan evangelized the people.

[22] But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved of him concerning Herodias the wife of his brother, and
concerning all the evil that Herod had done: he added onto all this by shu.ing up Yohanan in prison.
[23] Moreover it was that with everyone of the people to be immersed, i}h was also immersing, and
praying for the heavens to be opened:
[24] And praying for the Spirit to descend to him, the Holy One in bodily shape as a dove, and praying
for a voice to come from the heavens, saying, You are My son, This day have I bego.en you.
[25] And i}h was himself about years thirty, as customary for one commencing to be a son:
[26] ioseph of heli, a gift of Yah, of Levi of Melki my King, the flourishing one of Yoseph:
[27] The gift of Yah, a burden of comfort, preserved of Yah, illuminating the small, a present of Yah:
[28] Hear my report of Yoseph Yhudah, of the grace of Elohim, of the head of Zerubbabel:
[29] of Shealtiel of Neri of Melki of Addi of Cosam of Elmadam of Er of Yhoshua of Eliezer of Yhorim
[30] of Ma.hat of Levi of Shimeon of Yhudah of Yoseph of Yonam of Eliakim of Melea of Menna

Tzaddikim 13
[01] It is wri.en, In this year of the Yobel you shall return every man to his possession, and again, Any
owner who lends to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbor or his brother:
[02] For iawa your Elohim has proclaimed it the shmita-remission, a sending away, a release.
[03] And it shall come to pass in the last days that Melki Tzedek will return the captives, as it is wri.en
in haNavi Yeshayahω, To proclaim liberty to the captives.
[04] For he will make their rebellious ones become their captives; and those who belong to Melki Tzedek
will rule their former oppressors with a rod of iron, the Spirit of the Torah of Elohim.
[05] For the sons of light are given to Melki Tzedek, for they are his inheritance, and he will cause them
to return: he will proclaim liberty to them, to free them from all their iniquities.
[06] And in the Yobel of the Apokalypse, after Melki Tzedek has proclaimed liberty to the captives, and
the opening of the prison to them that are bound, the Yobel shall be proclaimed:
[07] In the tenth of the seventh Hodesh, in the year of redemption, the great and wondrous acceptable
year of iawa, the Yobel shall be proclaimed.
[08] And at that time an atonement shall be made for the sons of light, the sons of Elohim, those who are
of the lot of Melki Tzedek: from the heights he will declare in their favor, according to their lots.
[09] For it is the appointed time of the year of the grace of Melki Tzedek, to exalt in the trial, to be lifted
up and magnified, and to raise up the holy ones of Elohim by the rule of upright judgment.
[10] As it is wri.en in the Psalm, Elohim stands in the assembly of El; in the midst of the Elohim He
judges: how long will you judge unjustly and accept the countenances of the wicked? Selah, (Pause).
[11] I have said, You are Elohim, and all of you are sons of the Most High; but you shall die like Adam,
and fall as one of the sarim-princes:
[12] But then he says, Arise, O Elohim, and judge the earth: for you shall inherit all the nations!
[13] And the understanding concerns Belial and all the unclean spirits of his lot, who were all of them
rebels, who turned aside from the commandments of Elohim to commit evil.

[14] And Melki Tzedek shall bring forth the upright judgements of Elohim in this day; and the sons of
light shall be freed from the hands of Belial, and from the hands of all the unclean spirits of his lot.
[15] And to his aid shall come all the Elohim of justice and upright judgment; and Melki Tzedek will
preside from this day evermore over all bnei Elohim, for he presides over the assembly of the Elohim.
[16] And this is the great day of peace, the day of which Elohim spoke in old time by way of the words
of haNavi Yeshayahω, saying:
[17] How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the Messenger who announces peace, the
Messenger of good news who announces salvation, saying to Tzion, Your Elohim reigns!
[18] The mountains are the prophets; and the greatest of them all is that Prophet like unto Moshe, whom
Moshe prophesied was for to come:
[19] That Prophet is the Anointed Messenger who is blessed of Elohim Most High; blessed with Ruach
Melki Tzedek, the Teacher of Righteousness who descends from the heavens.
[20] And when Melki Tzedek has come the Anointed Messenger will announce salvation from the
heights, for he shall be sent to comfort the afflicted, and to watch over the smi.en of Tzion, and to
instruct us in all the ages of the kosmos in truth and in righteousness.
[21] And he shall turn the wise and circumspect in heart away from Belial with the upright judgments of
Elohim, as it is wri.en of him, saying to Tzion, Your Elohim reigns!
[22] And to all the congregation of the sons of justice, and the sons of light, to those who establish the
Covenant, and those who avoid walking in the way of the heathen:
[23] Your Elohim and the head of the great congregation is Ruach Melki Tzedek, who is the only wise
head under the Father, and the Father is the Great Head over all.
[24] And Melki Tzedek will free the captives from the hand of Belial, and the shofarim will blow in all
the Land: and the great time of trouble shall come, the hour when Miykael shall pass|over.
[25] As it is wri.en of that Prophet like unto Moshe, iawa your Elohim will raise up unto you a
Prophet from the midst of you, of your brethren, like unto me; unto him shall you hearken:
[26] According to all that you desired of iawa your Elohim in Horeb, in the day of the assembly,
saying, Let me not hear again the voice of iawa my Elohim, neither let me see this great fire any
more, that I die not.
[27] And iawa said to me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
[28] I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto you, and will put My words in
his mouth; and he shall speak unto them everything whatsoever I shall command him.
[29] And it shall come to pass that whosoever will not hearken unto My words, which he shall speak in
My name, I will require it of him.
[30] For in the day of the assembly the people saw and heard the thunderings, and the lightnings, and
the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and they removed, and stood far off.
[31] And they said unto Moshe, You speak emmanu, (that is, with us), and we will hear: but let not
speak emmanu Elohim, (that is, let not Elohim speak with us), lest we die!
[32] And Moshe said to the people, Fear not, for Elohim is come to prove you, that His reverential fear
may be always before your faces, so that you sin not.
[33] But the people stood far off, and Moshe drew near unto the `araphel where Elohim was:
[34] And iawa said to Moshe, Thus shall you say unto bnei Yisrael, You have seen that I have
spoken with you from the shamayim.

[35] Moreover Moshe says again, These words iawa spoke unto all your assembly in the mountain,
out of the midst of the fire, out of the cloud, and out of the `araphel, with a great voice:
[36] And He added no more, and He wrote them in two tables of stone and delivered them unto me.
[37] And it came to pass, that when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, though the
mountain burned with fire, you came near to me, and all the heads of your tribes and your elders:
[38] And you said, Behold, iawa our Elohim has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we
have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that Elohim does indeed speak
with man, and he lives.
[39] Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we thus hear the voice of
iawa our Elohim any more, then we shall die.
[40] For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the Living Elohim speaking out of the midst
of the fire, as we have, and has lived?
[41] You go near, and hear all that iawa our Elohim shall say: and you shall speak unto us all that
iawa our Elohim shall speak unto you; and we will hear it, and we will do it.
[42] And iawa heard the voice of your words, when you spoke to me, and iawa said to me:
[43] I have heard the voice of the words of this people which they have spoken unto you: they have well
said everything that they have spoken.
[44] ym — Miy shall put within them to have such an heart as this: that they might fear Me, and keep all
My commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their sons forever!
[45] As it is wri.en in the Psalm, Why do the nations rage, and the peoples imagine vain things?
[46] The kings of the earth stood, and the rulers gathered themselves together against iawa, and
against His Anointed One. Selah, (Pause).
[47] Let us break their bonds asunder and cast away their yoke from off us!
[48] The One dwelling in the heavens shall mock them, and the Absolute Master shall deride them; at
that time He shall speak to them in His displeasure, in the passion of His fury he shall trouble them:
[49] Saying, I have set Melki in My holy mount Tzion! I do inscribe the decree, iawa has said unto
me: You are My Son, This day I have bego.en you.
[50] Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and you shall possess the ends of
the earth; you will shepherd them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of a po.er shall you break them.
[51] Now therefore understand, O kings, let the judges of the earth be instructed; serve iawa with
reverential fear, and render exultation unto Him with trembling.
[52] Kiss the Heir, that is, the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the Way of the Just, when the
passion of his fury is kindled but a li.le.
[53] Blessed are all they who place their trust in him, that is, the Son, haTzaddik, the Just.
[54] The holy mountain is the Prophet like unto Moshe, and the King whom the Father places in His
holy mountain is Melki Tzedek, the King of Righteousness, the Son of Elohim. Hallelu Yah.
[55] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the Power of the Empire shall rest upon the
yoke of his neck: and he shall call his name, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty Messenger, My Fatherʹs
Witness, the Prince of Peace.
[56] Who is Miy, and Who is like El, that is Miy·ka·El, Sar sarim, ha·Sar ha·Gadol, and the counsel of
Who is too Wonderful, and Who is the Prince of Peace, and Mighty El, and Who is Emmanu·El:
[57] For Who is the very Anointing of the Anointed Prophet, Who is to come, Who is the Son of Man,
Who has ascended and descended the shamayim:

[58] But who has believed our report? for the Arm of iawa is revealed in Who, and Who is he that
comes from Edom, with garments died red from Bozrah, for Who is Miy and Miy is Who, (ym).
[59] Whereby father Abraham is called a Navi-Prophet, and no doubt he is a Kohen after the order of
Melki Tzedek, for the King of Righteousness met with father Abraham:
[60] And Melki Tzedek brings forth the bread of life and the Covenant wine, as it is wri.en:
[61] And Melki Tzedek, King of Shalem, that is, King of Peace, brought forth bread and fruit of the vine:
and he is Kohen of the El Most High.
[62] And after these things came the Word of iawa unto Abram in a vision; and those to whom the
Word of Elohim has come are called Elohim, and sons of the Most High.
[63] Father Abraham is thus a Navi-Prophet, a Melek-King, and a Kohen Gadol after the order of Melki
Tzedek, and an Elohim; for the order of Melki Tzedek is the Elohim Priesthood.
[64] And Moshe the man of the Elohim is likewise a Navi, and a Mediator, and a Kohen Gadol after the
order of the Melki Tzedek Elohim Priesthood, for he stood between Elohim and the people:
[65] As it is wri.en, iawa spoke to you face to face in the mountain out of the midst of the fire:
[66] And I stood between iawa and you at that time to announce unto you the words of iawa,
(for you feared in the presence of the fire, and you went not up to the mountain), saying:
[67] I am iawa your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
[68] And thus Melek David is also a Navi, and an Elohim, and a Kohen Gadol of the Elohim Priesthood
after the order of Melki Tzedek; for Melki Tzedek is the Ruach Anointing upon him.
[69] And therefore no doubt the Son of David is that Navi-Prophet whom Moshe said was for to come,
and an Elohim, and the Mediator, and haKohen haGadol according to the order of Melki Tzedek:
[70] For Ruach Elohim, Who is Ruach Moshiah, Who is Ruach Melki Tzedek, is the Ruach Anointing
which was given from the Father and descended upon him at his immersion.
[71] Who was from the beginning, Who we have heard, Who we have seen with our eyes, Who we have
looked upon, and which our hands have handled:
[72] The Word of Life in the lambskin Sepher, whose earlets were pierced coming into the kosmos, being
affixed to the AYei Chayim: Who we declare unto you!

Tzaddikim 14
[01] In the beginning was the Memra, and the Memra was with the Elohim, and the Memra was Elohim:
the same was in the beginning with the Elohim.
[02] All things through him came into being; and outside of him came nothing into being which has
come into being.
[03] In him was life, and the life was the light of men: and the light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness possesses it not.
[04] There was a man being sent from Elohim, his name Yohanan: the same came for a witness, to bear
witness of the Light, that all men by way of him might be fully convinced.
[05] He was not the Light but was sent to bear witness of the Light: the Light was the truth which lights
every man coming into the kosmos.
[06] The same was in the kosmos, and the kosmos came to be through him, and the kosmos knew him
not: he came unto his own, and his own received him not.

[07] But as many as received him, to them he gave authority to become offspring of Elohim: those
faithfully trusting into his name, who were not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of
man, but having been born from Elohim.
[08] And the Memra became flesh, and tabernacled among us, but all flesh is not the same flesh: there is
one kind of flesh of men, another of beasts, even µεµβρανας which are the lambskins of the Memra, and
another of fish, and another of birds, and likewise doves: yea, even bread is flesh with skin.
[09] There are bodies heavenly, and bodies earthly; but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of
the earthly is another: if there is a physical body, there is an ethereal body.
[10] And we have looked upon his glory, the glory as of the one and only kind from the Father, replete
with graciousness and truth.
[11] Yohanan testifies of him, and has cried out, saying, This is of whom it was that I said, The one
coming behind me, in front of me has become, because before me he was: for of his fullness we have all
received, even graciousness in exchange for graciousness.
[12] Because the Torah was given through Moshe: the grace and the truth came through i}h X}R.
[13] No one has seen Elohim at any time: the one and only kind Elohim-Son, who is ever in the Bay of
the Father, that one has expounded Him.
[14] And this is the testimonial witness of Yohanan when the Yhudim from Yerushalem sent Kohanim
and Leviim, asking him, You are Who?
[15] And he confessed and did not deny, but confessed, I am not the X}R.
[16] And they asked him, What then? Are you Eliyahω? and he said, I am not. Are you haNavi? and he
answered, No.
[17] They said therefore to him, Who are you? so that we may give an answer to them that sent us: what
do you say concerning yourself?
[18] He said, I am Kol Kore bamidbar, Voice of a Cryer in the wilderness, Make yourselves straight the
Way of iawa, as haNavi Yeshayahω says.
[19] Also there were Perushim sent, which also questioned him, and said to him, Why then do you
immerse if you are not the X}R, neither Eliyahω, neither haNavi?
[20] Answering them Yohanan said, I immerse by water; but in your midst stands Who you know not,
Who is coming behind me, Who I am not even worthy to loosen the strap of his sandal!
[21] These things came to pass in Beit-Barah, the House of the Crossing, which is beyond the YorDan, in
the Galilah, the place where Yohanan was immersing.
[22] At that time the i}h appeared unto Yohanan upon the Yarden in the Galilah to immerse with him,
and behold, going through the seven plunges of immersion:
[23] A brilliant white light shone roundabout the whole place, and Yohanan seeing the great light
impeded him in the midst going through, saying:
[24] Adoni, You are Who? I have need to immerse under you, and for you to enter unto me!
[25] And behold, there came a voice from the heavens, saying:
[26] This is My Son, the one and only beloved, (ytdyxy — Αγαπητος), with Whom I make approval.
[27] Moreover the i}h answered, saying to him, Leave it be for now, for in this manner it is fi.ing for us
to fill up all righteousness: at that time He left him.

[28] Who has ascended and descended the heavens? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has
bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name? What
is the name of offspring that you should know?
[29] Every Word of Eloahh is refined, He is a magen to them that put their trust in Him, and no one has
ascended into the heavens if not the one who from the heavens has descended:
[30] The Son of Man who descends in bodily form as a Yonah-Dove.
[31] Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding, I have strength.
[32] By me kings reign and princes decree justice: by me princes and nobles rule, even all the judges of
the earth: I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me.
[33] Riches and honor are with me, yea, durable riches and righteousness.
[34] My fruit is be.er than gold, be.er than the finest gold, and my revenue is be.er than silver.
[35] I lead in the Way of Righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment, that I may cause those
that love me to inherit substance: and I will fill their treasures.
[36] iawa possessed me in the beginning of His Way, even before His works of old: I was set up
from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
[37] When there were no depths I was brought forth: when there were no fountains abounding with
water, before the mountains were se.led, and before the hills, I was brought forth.
[38] While as yet He had not made the land, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the earth:
when He prepared the heavens, I was there.
[39] When He set a compass upon the face of the depth, when He established the clouds above, when
He strengthened the fountains of the deep:
[40] When He gave to the sea His decree that the waters should not pass His commandment, when He
appointed the foundations of the earth:
[41] Even then was I beside Him, as if one having been brought up with Him: and I was daily His
delight, rejoicing always before Him, rejoicing in the habitable portion of His Land:
[42] And my delights were with the sons of Adam.

Tzaddikim 15
[01] And it came to pass that i}h from Nazareth came to the Galilah to immerse with Yohanan at the
Yarden: and by and by coming up from the water, behold, the heavens were opened unto him, and he
saw Ruach Elohim descending as a dove and coming upon him:
[02] And behold, a voice from the heavens, saying, You are My Son, This day I have bego.en you.
[03] And seeing the i}h coming unto him, Yohanan said, Behold, the Amnos-Rachel of Elohim who sails
away the sins of the kosmos!
[04] This is of whom I said, Behind me comes a Gaber who has come before me, for before me He was:
[05] And I knew him not, (Yeshayahω 45:4), but so that he should be made manifest unto Yisrael, for this
reason I came immersing by water.
[06] And Yohanan testified, saying, I beheld the Spirit as a dove descending out of the heavens and
abiding-remaining upon him!
[07] And I knew him not, (Yeshayahω 45:5), but He that sent me to immerse by water said to me, Upon
whoever you see the Spirit descend and abide upon him, the same is the Immerser by the Holy Spirit.
[08] And I have seen, and have testified, that this is the elect chosen one of Elohim!

[09] And immersing by and by it came to pass that i}h came up from the water, and behold, a great
white light shone roundabout the whole place, and there was holy fire upon the waters of the Yarden:
[10] And he saw the heavens being rent asunder and the Spirit descending as a dove into him:
[11] And there came a voice out of the heavens, You are My beloved Son: in you I set My seal.
[12] And immediately the Spirit thrust him forth into the wilderness.
[13] And i}h being fully replete in Spirit Holy turned away from the Yarden, being led by the Spirit into
the desert to be tested forty days by the Diabol: and he ate nothing in those days.
[14] And he was in the desert wilderness forty days undergoing trial by the Satan, and was with the
wild beasts of the Apokalypse, and the Elohim Malakim ministered unto him.
[15] As it is wri.en in haNavi Yeshayahω:
[16] Bu.er and honey shall he eat before he knows to reject the evil or to choose the good:
[17] For before the manchild shall know good or evil; he refuses the evil to choose the good, and the
land which you fear shall be forsaken of both her kings.
[18] But Elohim shall bring upon you, and upon your people, and upon the house of your fathers, days
which have never come since the day that Ephraim departed from Yhudah: the king of Assyria.
[19] And in that day it shall come to pass that iawa shall whistle for the fly that is in the u.ermost
part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria:
[20] And they shall come, and shall enter all of them into the clefts of the Land, and into the holes of the
rocks, and into the caves, and into every ravine.
[21] In that day shall the Absolute Master shave from the head to the hairs of the feet, with the hired
razor from beyond the river, the king of Assyria; yea, even the beard shall be consumed.
[22] And it shall be in that day that a man shall keep alive a calf of the herd and two of the flock:
[23] And it shall come to pass that because of the abundance of milk every one of the remnant in the
Land shall eat bu.er and honey.
[24] For behold, iawa brings upon you the waters of the river, strong and mighty, even the king of
Assyria and all his glory:
[25] And he shall come up over all his channels and overflow all his banks.
[26] And he shall pass through Yhudah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck:
[27] And the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of your Land, O Emmanu·El!
[28] Associate yourselves, O you people, and you shall be broken in pieces; give ear, all you far away
countries; gird yourselves, and you shall be broken in pieces:
[29] Gird yourselves, and you shall be sha.ered; take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing;
speak the word, and it shall not stand: for ia the hl is with us!
[30] And having fasted forty days and forty nights, the days being complete, he hungered.
[31] And approaching, the Tempter said to him, If you are a son of Elohim, command these stones to
become bread!
[32] But answering, he said, It is wri.en, Mankind shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that
proceeds out of the mouth of Elohim.
[33] And the Diabol said to him, If you are the Son of Elohim, command this stone to become bread!
[34] And the i}h answered him, saying, It is wri.en, Mankind shall not live by bread alone, but by every
Word of Elohim.
[35] And he led him up into Yerushalem, and stationed him upon the pinnacle of the Sanctuary, and
said to him, If you are the Son of Elohim, cast yourself down from here:

[36] For it is wri.en that His Malakim are given charge concerning you, to guard you:
[37] Also that by their hands they shall bear you up; lest you dash your foot against a stone.
[38] And the i}h answering said to him, It is commanded, You shall not test iawa your Elohim.
[39] And he led him up and showed to him all the kingdoms of the habitable Land in a flash of time.
[40] And the Diabol said to him, Unto you will I give this authority, absolutely all, and their glory: for
unto me has it been surrendered up, and to whomever I will, I give it.
[41] If you will therefore bow in obeisance before me, all of it shall be yours.
[42] And the i}h answering said to him, It is wri.en, iawa your Elohim shall you worship: and to
Him alone shall you render homage.
[43] Then the Diabol took him into the holy city, and stood him on a winglet of the Sanctuary:
[44] And said to him, If you are a son of Elohim, cast yourself down:
[45] For it is wri.en, He shall give His Malakim charge concerning you, also, On their hands they shall
bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
[46] i}h said to him again, Also it is wri.en, You shall not test iawa your Elohim.
[47] Again, the Diabol took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed to him all the kingdoms
of the kosmos and their glory:
[48] And he said to him, All these things will I give you if you will fall down and do obeisance unto me.
[49] Then i}h says to him, Withdraw Satan! for it is wri.en, You shall bow to iawa your Elohim: and
to Him alone shall you render homage!
[50] At that time the Diabol, having completed every test, withdrew from him and left him until an
appointed time, and behold, Malakim came and ministered unto him.
[51] For he fully emptied himself in the fast, and would not bow the knee to the Baal, and the Elohim
Malakim ministered unto him.
[52] As it is wri.en in haNavi, Fear not, I am the first, and the last, and the living, and was dead; and
behold, I am living into the ages of the ages, and have the keys of Death and of Hades.
[53] The next day again stood Yohanan and two from his talmidim; and watching the i}h traversing the
midst, he said, Behold, the Amnos-Rachel Lamb of Elohim!
[54] Watching I was, and behold, a hundred forty four thousand Tzaddikim, those having been shut up
in the hippodrome circle, and they stood roundabout i}h the Tzaddik:
[55] Each one being a parthenos and having been purchased from the Land; each one with the name of
the Arnion and the name of the Father having been wri.en in their foreheads:
[56] And in the midst of all stood the Arnion, as one having been slain, having seven shofarim and seven
eyes which are the seven Spirits sent forth in all the habitable Land of iawa.

Tzaddikim 16
[01] And the two talmidim of Yohanan heard him speaking, those that were standing together with him
when he cried out, Behold, the Lamb of Elohim! and they followed along toward the i}h.
[02] But the i}h turned roundabout, and seeing them following he said to them, What do you seek? and
they said to him, Rabbi, (which is with interpretation, Teacher), where do you abide?
[03] He says to them, Come and see! they came therefore and saw where he abode; and they abode with
him that day, the hour being the tenth, (for that is the Shabbat hour by the shabuim prayer times).
[04] Andreo, the brother of Shimon Petro, (that is, with interpretation, Stone), was one from the two that
had heard alongside Yohanan and had followed him:

[05] He first finds his own brother, Shimon Stone and says to him, We have found the X}R, and he led
him to the i}h.
[06] Looking at him the i}h says, You are Shimon the son of Yonah: you shall be called Kepha, that is to
say, a hollowed out Rock, (the first of the Shimoni).
[07] The next day he desires to go forth into the Galilah-Circle, and he finds Philippo, (which is to say,
with interpretation, Fond of Horses, the Horseman), and the i}h says to him, Follow me!
[08] Moreover Philippo was from Beit-Tzaidah Philippo; from the town of Andreo and Stone, (Petro).
[09] Philippo finds Nathanael, (who is of Kana of the Galilah), and says to him, We have found whom
Moshe in the Torah and the Neviim wrote about, i}h son of Yoseph from Nazareth.
[10] Nathanael says to him, Can any good come from Nazareth? Philippo says to him, Come and see!
[11] The i}h sees Nathanael coming to him, and says concerning him, Behold, an Yisraeli indeed in
whom there is no deceit!
[12] Nathanael says to him, From where do you know me? the i}h answers and says to him, Before
Philippo sounded you out, being under the sukkah-fig, I knew you.
[13] Nathanael answers him, Rabbi, you are the Son of Elohim? you are King of Yisrael?
[14] The i}h answers and says to him, Because I said to you that I knew you from under the sukkah-fig,
are you convinced? you shall see greater things than these!
[15] And he said to him, Amen-amen, I say to you, You shall see the heavens opened up and the
Malakim of Elohim ascending and descending because of the Son of Man.
[16] This was at Beit-Arabah, the House in the Arabah beyond the YorDan, which is Beit-El, the same
which of old time was called Luz, and Ulamluz, and Oulamlous, and Oulammaous:
[17] Not far is Beit-Barah, the House of the Crossing, and Mahanaim, the double encampment of the
hosts of Elohim, and Phenuel, the place where the sun rose up in Yisrael as he crossed over the Yarden.
[18] And Mahanaim is a hamlet of the small towns of Yair, son of Segub, son of Hezron, son of Pharez,
son of Yhudah, and therefore it is said, Yhudah beyond YorDan, (Bashan, Geshuri, and Maachathi).
[19] And in the Galilah hippodrome circuit are the hamlets of Adam, Sukkoth, and Zarethan-Nazareth,
in Gen-Netsaret, which is in the sides of the north roundabout Lake Kinnerot, (north of Yam Kinneret).
[20] And in the third day there was a nuptial banquet in Kana of Nathanael, also of the Galilah, and the
mother of i}h was there, as it is said concerning our covenant mother YeruShalem above:
[21] Rejoice, O barren, you who did not bear; break forth and cry out, you who travailed not: for the
desolate has many more offspring than she that has a husband.
[22] Broaden the place of your tent; they shall stretch out the curtains of your mishkanot habitations,
spare not in the lengthening of your cords and the strengthening of your stakes:
[23] For you shall spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your seed shall inherit the nations, and
cause the desolate cities to be inhabited, (for of old time the Mishkan-Tabernacle was at Shiloh, that is,
Shalem, Salem, Selom, and Saleim, which is next to the fountain Aenon, under Shekem, the Ridge).
[24] Likewise the i}h and his talmidim were also called to the wedding feast: and when they fell short of
wine, the mother of the i}h says to him, They have no wine!
[25] The i}h says to her, Woman, what is that to me and you? my hour has not yet come! His mother
says to the a.endants, Do whatsoever he tells you to do.
[26] Moreover there were six stone cisterns stationed there after the manner of the purification rites of
the Yhudim, containing two or three measures apiece, (behold, they were not emptied out).
[27] The i}h says to them, Fill back up the cisterns with water, and they filled them up to the brim.

[28] And he said to them, Draw out now and bear it to the governor of the feast: and so they did.
[29] And when the governor of the feast had tasted the water become wine, and not knowing from
where it came, though the servants having drawn the water knew, the governor called the groom:
[30] And he said to him, Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when they have drank,
then the lesser quality: but you have kept the good wine until now!
[31] This beginning of signs the i}h performed in Kana of Nathanael of the Galilah, and manifested his
glory, and his talmidim put their trust in him.
[32] With this he descended to Kapher Nahum, (that is to say, Village of Comfort), himself and his
mother and the brethren and talmidim: and there they tarried not many days.
[33] And the Passover of the Yhωdim drew near, and the i}h ascended up into YeruShalem; and he
found in the Sanctuary court those that sell oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the money changers seated.
[34] And he made a whip out of flag-rope, and cast them all out of the Sanctuary precinct, and the sheep
and the oxen; and he chased out the money changers and overturned the tables.
[35] This is the first cleansing of the Sanctuary: moreover the evening-morning two thousand three
hundred yamim commence from the midst of Pesach Sheni:
[36] For the daily hours of the prayer times are the third hour, the sixth hour, and the ninth hour of
every day, which is a week of yamim-hours in every day; the shabuim-weeks of haNavi Daniel.
[37] And from the seventeenth of the second month unto the final cleansing of the Sanctuary are three
hundred twenty nine days: two thousand three hundred yamim, (the seven hours in a day of prayer).
[38] And to them that sold the doves, he said, Take these things out of here; make not the house of my
Father a house of merchandise!
[39] His talmidim then remembered how it is wri.en; The zeal of your house shall consume me.
[40] The Yhudim therefore answered, What sign show you unto us? seeing that you do these things?
[41] The i}h answered and said to them; You destroy this Sanctuary and in three days I raise him up!
[42] The Yhudim therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and you will raise it up
in three days? But that he spoke concerning the temple of his body, (for they two are the Amen-amen).
[43] When therefore he was arisen from the dead his talmidim remembered that he had spoken this; and
they believed the writing, and the Word which the i}h had spoken.
[44] Moreover, as he was among the Yerushalemim at the Passover during the feast, many were
convinced toward his name, discerning his signs which he did.
[45] But the i}h did not entrust himself unto them because he knew everything:
[46] And because he need not have any testimony concerning that of man; for he himself knew what was
in the anthropon-manfaced.

Tzaddikim 17
[01] Moreover in that time, (during the week of the feast of Pesach MaYot), there was a certain man from
the Perushim, his name Shimon Yoseph Nikodemo, Archon-Ruler of the Yhudim:
[02] This one came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that you are a Teacher come from
Elohim; for no one can do these signs which you do if not emmo·El, (El is with him).
[03] i}h answered and said to him, Amen-amen, I say to you, If one is not born from above the same
cannot see the kingdom of Elohim.
[04] Nikodemo said to him, How can an old man be regenerated-reborn? can he enter a second time into
the cavity of his mother and be regenerated-reborn?

[05] i}h answered, Amen-amen, I say to you, If one is not regenerated by Water and Spirit the same
cannot enter into the kingdom of Elohim, (thus the answer is, Yes! one must go back into the cavity of
his mother, that is, covenant, and relearn all things: for YeruShalem above is our mother-covenant).
[06] That which generates from the flesh is flesh; and that which generates from the Spirit is Spirit.
[07] Wonder not that I said to you, You must be born from above: the Spirit blows wheresoever He wills,
and you hear His voice, but you have not known from where He comes and to where He goes: thus is
every one being generated out of Spirit.
[08] Nikodemo answered and said to him, What makes it possible for these things to come to pass?
[09] i}h answered and said to him, You are the Teacher of Yisrael and do not know these things?
[10] Amen-amen, I say to you, We speak that which we know, and we testify of that which we have
seen; and our testimony you do not receive, (for He and he are the Amen-amen).
[11] If I told you earthly things and you believe not; how shall you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
[12] And no one has ascended into the heavens if not the one who is from the heavens has descended:
the Son of Man.
[13] And just as Moshe lifted up the Seraph in the desert, in the same way must the Son of Man be lifted
up-exalted; that all who put their trust into him may have life aionion.
[14] For in this manner Elohim so loved the kosmos, that He gave His one and only one of a kind Son:
that all who put their trust into him should not perish, but have life aionion.
[15] For Elohim sent not the Son into the kosmos to judge the kosmos; but that the kosmos through him
might be delivered.
[16] The one trusting him is not judged; but the one not trusting is judged already because the same is
not trusting in the name of the one and only one of a kind Son of Elohim.
[17] Moreover this is the judgment: that the light is come into the kosmos, and men loved the darkness
rather than the light because their works were evil.
[18] For anyone practising wickedness hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his works
should be reproved.
[19] But the one doing the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be made manifest, that his
works are engaged with and in Elohim.
[20] With these things i}h and his talmidim came into the land of Yhudah beyond YorDan, and he
tarried with them there, immersing, and Yohanan was not yet cast into prison.
[21] And Yohanan was immersing also in Aenon by Shalem, that is, the floor of Atad which is at Shekem,
going by the Way of the Sea, for there was much water there: and they came and immersed.
[22] There came up therefore a mutual disputation of the talmidim of Yohanan with a certain Yhudi
Archon concerning purification.
[23] And they came to Yohanan, and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with you on the other side of the
Yarden, he of whom you have testified; behold, the same is now immersing and all go to him!
[24] Yohanan answered and said, A man can receive nothing if it is not given him from the heavens.
[25] You yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the X}R, but that I am sent before in front of
that one, (for the X}R is the one who comes behind Yohanan).
[26] The one having the bride is the groom; but the friend of the groom, who stands and hears him,
rejoices greatly because of the voice of the groom: this therefore my joy is fulfilled.
[27] That one must increase, but I myself must decrease.

[28] The one coming from above is over all; the one being from the earth is of the earth, and of the earth
he speaks: the one coming from the heavens is over all.
[29] What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies, and no one else will receive his testimony:
[30] The one therefore accepting his testimony has set his seal that Elohim is true.
[31] For the one whom Elohim has sent speaks the words of Elohim, for He does not give the Spirit by
measure: the Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.
[32] The one faithfully trusting into the Son has life aionion; but the one not faithfully trusting into the
Son shall not see life, contrariwise, the wrath of Elohim abides upon him.

Tzaddikim 18
[01] In this way therefore the Master knew that the Perushim had heard how i}h made and immersed
more talmidim than Yohanan, (though the i}h himself did not immerse but rather his talmidim).
[02] And i}h returned in the power of the Spirit to the Galilah, and a rumor concerning him went out
through the entire circle: and he was teaching in their synagogues, being honored by all.
[03] And he came to Nazara where he had been brought up: and according to his custom he entered into
the synagogue in the day of the Shabbatot, (for the Shabbat hour in the day of the Shabbat is a Shabbat
in its Shabbat, as it is wri.en), and he stood to read.
[04] And there was delivered unto him the scroll of haNavi Yeshayahω.
[05] And when he had opened the scroll, he alighted on the place where it is wri.en:
[06] Ruach iawa is upon me, He has Anointed me for the purpose of bringing the good message to
the poor: He has sent me apart to herald release unto the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind:
[07] To send out at liberty those that are crushed:
[08] To herald the acceptable year of iawa.
[09] And he furled the scroll, and he gave it again to the minister, and was seated, and the eyes of all in
the synagogue were fastened upon him, and he did commence, saying unto them:
[10] This day is this scripture writing fulfilled in your ears!
[11] And all did testify unto him, and were amazed at the gracious words which proceeded out of his
mouth: and they said, Is this not the son of Yoseph?
[12] And he said to them, By all means you will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal
yourself: whatsoever we have heard done in Kapher Nahum, do also here in your own country!
[13] And he said, Amen, I say to you, No prophet is accepted in his own country:
[14] But concerning the truth I tell you that many widows were in Yisrael in the days of Eliyahω, when
the heavens were shut up three years and six months, when great famine was over all the Land:
[15] And unto none of them was Eliyahω sent except to Sarepta, a city of Tzidon, to a widow woman:
[16] And many lepers were in Yisrael in the time of haNavi Elishah; and none of them was cleansed
except for Naaman the Syrian!
[17] And all in the synagogue were furious when they heard these things:
[18] And they rose up to eject him out of the town, and to take him to the precipice of the hill whereon
their town was built, so as to cast him down.
[19] But going his Way he traversed through the midst of them and descended into a Village of Comfort,
a town of the Galilah, and he was teaching them in the Sabbasin, that is, the daily Shabbatot:
[20] And they were astonished at his doctrine because his Word was with authority.

[21] And in the synagogue there was a certain one having an unclean spirit of a daemon; and he
screeched out with a mighty voice, Ea! What of us and you, i}h Nazarene, are you come to destroy us?
[22] I know you! You are Who! The Holy One of Elohim!
[23] And the i}h censured him, saying, Muzzle yourself, and go forth out of him!
[24] And hurling him down in the midst, the daemon went out of him, having done him no injury.
[25] And astonishment came upon all, and they conversed together with one another, saying, What is
this Word? for with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they do go forth!
[26] And a roar went forth concerning him into every place of the circumjacent region.
[27] Moreover, rising up from the synagogue, he entered into the house of Shimon: but the penthera of
Shimon was afflicted with a great fever, and they entreated him concerning her.
[28] And he stood over her, and censured the fever: and it left her immediately, and she rose up to
minister unto them.
[29] And with the going down of the sun, all those having sicknesses of divers maladies brought them
unto him: and he put his hands, (that is to say, his power), upon every one of them, healing them.
[30] And daemons also went forth from many, screeching aloud, and saying, You are the Son of Elohim!
and he censured them, not allowing them to speak because they knew him to be the X}R.
[31] But when it became day he went out, going forth into a desert place: and the multitudes sought
after him, and came to him, and held fast to him so that he should not depart from them:
[32] But he said to them, I must preach the good message of the kingdom of Elohim to the other towns
also: for because of this I was sent.
[33] And he was preaching in the synagogues of Yhudah.
[34] It was therefore necessary for him to pass through Shimron:
[35] And he came to a town of Shimron being called Shekar, (that is, Strong Wine, it is at Shekem), near
the parcel of ground which Yaakob gave to his son Yoseph, and the well of Yaakob was there.
[36] The i}h therefore, in the manner as if being wearied from a journey, sat down by the well: the hour
was about the sixth, as it is wri.en, At evening time, the time women go out to draw water.
[37] There came a woman of Shimron to draw water: the i}h says to her, You will give Me to drink? for
his talmidim were gone away into the town to buy rations.
[38] The woman of Shimron therefore said to him, How is it that you, being Yhudi, ask me, who am a
woman of Shimron, for a drink? being as it is that Yhudim have no dealings with Shimroni?
[39] i}h answered and said to her, If you knew the gift offering of Elohim, and Who He is that said to
you, You will give Me to drink? you would have asked of Him, and He would give you living water.
[40] The woman said to him, Mister, you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep: from where
then have you that living water?
[41] Are you greater than our father Yaakob, who gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his
sons, and his ca.le?
[42] The i}h answered and said to her, Every one who drinks of that water shall thirst again: but
whosoever drinks of the water that I give shall never thirst into the age; but the water that I shall give
him shall become within him a well of water springing up unto life aionion.
[43] The woman says to him, Master, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come all the way to this
place to draw! The i}h says to her, Go call your gaber and come back here.

[44] The woman answered and said to him, I have no husband: the i}h says to her, You have well said, I
have no husband, for you have had five gibborim, and whom you have now is not your husband; this
you have declared in truth.
[45] The woman says to him, Master, I perceive that you are a prophet: our fathers worshiped in this
hillock; and you yourselves say that in Yerushalem is the place where worship must be done.
[46] The i}h says to her, Woman, trust me, the hour comes when neither in this hill nor in Yerushalem
shall you worship the Father; you yourselves worship what you know not:
[47] We worship Whom we know, for the shelem-soterion salvation peace offering is from the Yhωdim.
[48] But the hour comes, and now is, (for the seventh hour Shabbat commenced as they spoke), when
the true worshipers shall bow unto the Father in the Spirit and in truth; for truly of this sort the Father
seeks those who would bow unto Him:
[49] Elohim is Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
[50] The woman said to him, I know that a Meshiah Anointed One is coming, the one laying forthspeaking the X}R, when that one comes he will announce to us all things.
[51] The i}h says to her, I am Who is speaking to you.
[52] And upon this came his talmidim, and they wondered that he was speaking with a woman; yet no
one said, What were you seeking? or Why did you speak with her?
[53] Then the woman left her water jar and went away into the town, and said to the men, Come see a
certain one who told me all things ever I did: can it be that this is the X}R?
[54] They came forth out of the town and were coming to him.
[55] In the intervening time the talmidim entreated him, saying, Rabbi, eat! but he said to them, I have
brosin to eat which you do not perceive, (brosin is only what is declared to be food in the scripture).
[56] The talmidim therefore said to one another, Has anyone brought him anything to eat?
[57] The i}h says to them, My broma is to do the will of Him that sent me and to finish His work.
[58] Do you not say, There are yet four months and then comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, Lift up
your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are already whitened for the harvesting!
[59] The reaper receives wages and gathers fruit unto life aionion, so that the sower and the reaper may
rejoice together, for herein the Word is true, One is the sower and another is the reaper:
[60] I sent you to reap where you labored not; others labored, and you are entering into their labors.
[61] Moreover, from that town, many of the Shimroni were convinced toward him because of the word
of the woman who testified, He told me all things ever I did.
[62] So when the Shimroni came to him they besought him to abide with them: and he abode there two
days, and many more were convinced because of his Word.
[63] And they said to the woman, Now we are convinced, not because of your speaking: for we have
heard for ourselves, and we perceive that truly this is the Soter of the kosmos!
[64] But amidst those two days he was issuing from there unto the Galiliy: for i}h himself did testify that
a prophet has no honor in his own patridi-fatherland.
[65] Wherefore having come as unto the Galiliy, the Galiliy received him, having seen all the things
which he did among the Yerushalemim at the feast: for they also went up to the feast.
[66] He was thus come again to Kana of the Galilah, where he made the water wine, having come out of
Yhudah beyond YorDan into the Galilah Circle of north Arabah YorDan.
[67] Also there was a certain nobleman, (βασιλικος), whose son was sick at a Village of Comfort.

[68] This one, having heard that i}h was come out of Yhudah into the Galilah, came to him, and
besought him that he would come down and heal his son: for he was about to die off.
[69] The i}h therefore said to him, If you do not see signs and omens you will not be convinced? the
nobleman said to him, Adoni, please come down before my servant-child dies.
[70] The i}h said to him, Go your way, your son lives! and the man believed the Word which the i}h had
spoken to him, and he went his way.
[71] And as he was presently going down his servants met him and told him, saying, Your child lives!
[72] Then he inquired of them the hour when he began to amend: they said thus to him, Yesterday at the
seventh hour the fever left him.
[73] This was again the seventh hour daily Shabbat, concerning the shabuim weeks of yamim-hours in a
yom-day, which hours are seven, and the shabuim begin with the first hour of prayer:
[74] The shabuim first hour begins at the midst of the third hour of the day, the first hour of prayer, and
therefore the seventh hour Shabbat is the ninth to the tenth hour on the sundial, midst to midst.
[75] Therefore the father knew that it was the same hour in the which the i}h had said to him, Your son
lives! and he himself believed, even all his house.
[76] This is again the second sign the i}h did having come out of Yhudah into the Galilah Circle.

Tzaddikim 19
[01] With these things there was a feast of the Yhωdim: the seventh yom of the Pesach, as it is wri.en in
the Torah, And in the seventh yom is a feast of iawa, (Shemot-Exodus 13:6).
[02] Behold, is not the same feast in Shiloh and Shalem? which is on the north side of Beit-El, on the
eastern highway that goes from Beit-El to the Ridge, Shekem, which is beneath Lebonah and Hermon?
[03] And the i}h ascended up into YeruShalem: moreover there is in the Yerushalemim, both north and
south, a pool for washing sheep, which is called in Hebrew, Beit-Zatha, having five sukkot-porches.
[04] In these were laid up a multitude of feeble, blind, crippled, and withered, waiting for the stirring of
the water: for a Malak descends into the pool at an appointed time and agitates the water.
[05] Whosoever then steps in first with the water having been disturbed is healed of whatever ailment
he was bound up with.
[06] And there was a certain one there who was thirty eight years in having his infirmity.
[07] When the i}h saw him lying, and knew that he had now been a long time in that state, he said to
him, Would you be made whole?
[08] The feeble one answered him, Adoni, I have no certain one to cast me into the pool when the water
is stirred: but as I am going, another steps down in before me.
[09] The i}h said to him, Arise, take up your ma.ress, and walk!
[10] And immediately he was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked.
[11] However it was in the Shabbat of that day, and the Yhudim said to him that was cured, It is the
Shabbat, and it is not lawful for you to take up your ma.ress!
[12] But he answered them, He who made me whole, that one said to me, Take up your bed and walk.
[13] So they questioned him, Who is the certain one that said to you, Take up your bed and walk?
[14] But the one that was cured knew not who it was; for the i}h had withdrawn himself, a multitude
being in that place.
[15] With these things i}h found him in the court of the Sanctuary, and said to him:
[16] Behold, you have been made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you.

[17] So the man departed and announced to the Yhudim that it was i}h who had made him whole.
[18] And because of this the Yhudim hunted down the i}h, because he did these things in the Shabbat:
[19] But he answered them, My Father has been working even until right now! and I work too!
[20] Now then, because of this saying which he added, the Yhudim from this time sought to slay him:
[21] For he not only loosened the Shabbat, (according to their interpretation of it), but he also said that
the Elohim was his own Father, making himself to be of like kind with the Elohim Most High.
[22] In this day, the seventh day feast of Pesach MaYot, they began seeking to put him to death: for they
understood not what he said.
[23] i}h therefore answered and said to them, Amen-amen, I say to you, The Son can do nothing from
himself if it be not what he sees the Father doing:
[24] For whatsoever things the Father does, the same things also the Son does in like manner:
[25] For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that He Himself does; and greater works
than these will He show him so that you yourselves may be amazed.
[26] For as the Father awakens the dead and gives them life: even so the Son also gives life to whom he
wills; for the Father does not even judge anyone, but the whole judgment He has given unto the Son:
[27] So that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.
[28] The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
[29] Amen-amen, I say to you, The one hearing my Logos and trusting Him who sent me has life
aionion, and does not come into judgment, but has traversed out of the Death into the Life!
[30] Amen-amen, I say to you, The hour comes, and now it is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the
Son of Elohim, and those who hear shall live:
[31] For as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in himself:
[32] And He gave him authority to execute judgment because he is the Son of Man.
[33] Marvel not at this, for the hour comes in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice, and
they shall come forth:
[34] Those having done good things, into a resurrection of life; but those having practised wickedness,
into a resurrection of judgment.
[35] I can do nothing of myself: as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is upright because I seek not my
own will, but the will of Him who sent me.
[36] If I testify concerning myself, my testimony is not true.
[37] There is another who testifies concerning me; and I know that the witness which he testifies
concerning me is true.
[38] You yourselves have sent unto Yohanan; and he has borne witness unto the truth, but the testimony
which I receive is not from man, howbeit, I say these things that you may be delivered:
[39] He was the burning menorah shining brightly, and you were willing to rejoice for an hour in his
radiance, but the witness which I have is greater than that of Yohanan:
[40] For the works which the Father has given me to accomplish, the same works which I do, they bear
witness of me that indeed the Father has sent me:
[41] And the Father who sent me has therefore borne witness concerning me.
[42] Neither a voice of Him have you heard at any time, nor a form of Him have you ever seen:
[43] And you have not His Logos abiding in you; for whom He has sent, that one you do not believe.
[44] You search the scripture writings, for you imagine that in them you have life aionion, and they are
the same which testify concerning me: but you desire not to come unto me so that you may have life.

[45] I do not accept glorification-worship from men, but I know you, that you have not the love of
Elohim within yourselves:
[46] For I have come in the name of my Father, and you do not receive me, but if another shall come in
his own name, that one you will receive.
[47] How can you yourselves believe, who receive glorification from one another, but the glory from the
one and only Elohim you seek not?
[48] Do not imagine that I accuse you to the Father: one there is who accuses you, Moshe, in whom you
have set your confidence; for if you believed Moshe, you would believe me, for he wrote of me.
[49] But if you do not believe his writings then how shall you believe my words?
[50] And he went out from them and departed from there.

Tzaddikim 20
[01] About this time Herod seized Yohanan and shut him up in the prison of his own city, (the tupos
being the isle of Beit-Yerach, House of the Moon, but this was at Antiochea Panea).
[02] And knowing that Yohanan was delivered up, the i}h departed again to the Galili, and having left
the Nazara, he came to reside in maritime Kapher Nahum, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali:
[03] That the words of haNavi Yeshayahω might be fulfilled, saying, Region of Zebulun, and the land of
Naphtali, the Way of the Sea beyond YorDan, Galili of the Nations, by the side-portion of Yhudah:
[04] The people who dwelt in darkness have seen a great Light; and to those dwelling in a region and
shadow of death, unto them has the Light risen up, (ανετειλεν — Anatole Rising Light).
[05] From that time the i}h commenced heralding the good message of Elohim, saying, Repent
yourselves toward a change of heart; for the kingdom of the heavens is at hand!
[06] The appointed time is fulfilled and the kingdom of Elohim is here! Turn yourselves toward a change
of heart and put your trust in the good message!
[07] And passing along beside the sea of the Galilah he saw Shimon and Andreo the brother of Shimon
together-as-one casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen-sailors.
[08] And the i}h said to them, Come here after me, and I will make you become fishers of men!
[09] But they left the nets to follow him by and by.
[10] And continuing a li.le he saw Yaakob who is of Zebedyah, and Yohanan his brother, who also were
in the vessel mending the nets.
[11] And by and by he called them; and they left their father Zebedyah in the vessel with the wage
workers to go off after him.
[12] And they traversed along unto a Village of Comfort; and by and by in the Sabbasin, the daily
Shabbatot, he was entering into the synagogue and teaching.
[13] And they were astonished at his teaching; for he taught them as having authority and not as the
Scribes, (for the Scribes are compelled to quote rulings, the Elders, and sources outside themselves).
[14] And by and by there was a certain one in their synagogue with an unclean spirit: and he screamed
out loud, saying, Ea! What of us and you, i}h Nazarene, are you come to destroy us?
[15] I know you! You are Who! The Holy One of Elohim!
[16] And the i}h censured him, saying, Muzzle yourself, and go forth out of him!
[17] And the unclean spirit convulsed him; and shrieking in a great voice, issued forth out of him.
[18] And they were all astounded insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is
this new doctrine by way of authority? even the unclean spirits he commands: and they obey him!

[19] And anon the report thereof went out everywhere in all the circumjacent region of the Galilah.
[20] And by and by having come out of the synagogue they entered into the house of Shimon and
Andreo with Yaakob and Yohanan:
[21] But the penthera of Shimon was lying down with a burning fever, and immediately they told him of
her: and he came, took her hand, raised her up, and the fever left her; and she ministered to them.
[22] And late evening, when the sun was going down, they brought to him all those having maladies,
and the daemon possessed; and the whole town was gathered together at the Door.
[23] And he healed many that were sickly, having diverse maladies, and cast out many daemons; and he
suffered not the daemons to speak because they knew him.
[24] And the very early dawn by night he rose up and went out, and departed into a desert place, and
prayed there; but Shimon and those with him went searching after him:
[25] And they found him, and said to him, Everyone is searching for you!
[26] But he said to them, Let us go on elsewhere, to the places having unwalled villages, that I may
preach there also; because for this reason I came forth.
[27] And he went preaching in their synagogues, in all the Galilah, and he cast out the daemons.
[28] Watching I was, and behold, there were three certain ones that were in the synagogues, having
unclean spirits of daemons: and one from the three was not cast out.
[29] And there came a leper, kneeling down entreating him, saying, If you will, you can cleanse me.
[30] And being moved with compassion, he stretched forth the power his hand, touching him, and said
to him, I will! Be cleansed!
[31] And straightway he was cleansed, and the leper departed from him: for the i}h sternly censured
him, straightway sending him forth.
[32] And he commanded the cleansed, saying, Speak to no one; but go show yourself to the Kohen, and
offer up for your cleansing accordingly, as Moshe commanded, for a testimony unto them.
[33] Moreover this is the prayer offering, behold, two turtledoves or two young pigeons; one for a sin
offering and the other an ascending offering in the hand of the Malak Kohen who stands at the altar.
[34] But that one went out loudly proclaiming it, and the word spread abroad insomuch that he could
no more openly enter a town, but was out in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
[35] And traversing along by the Sea of the Galilah he saw the two brethren, Shimon who is called Stone
and Andreo his brother, casting a net into the sea because they were yet fishermen-sailors.
[36] And he said to them, Come here after me! and I will make you fishers of men!
[37] But they left the nets to follow him by and by.
[38] And forward from there he saw the two other brethren, Yaakob who is of Zebedyah and Yohanan
his brother, in the vessel with Zebedyah their father mending their nets: and he called them.
[39] But they left the vessel and their father to follow him by and by.
[40] And he went about in the whole of the Galilah teaching in their synagogues, and heralding the good
message of the kingdom, and healing all maladies and all diseases among the people.
[41] And the report going out concerning him was heard even into the whole of Syria:
[42] And they brought to him all the sorely stricken, those having motley maladies and afflicted with
torments, and possessed with daemons, and moonstruck, and paralytic: and he healed them.

Tzaddikim 21
[01] And there followed him great multitudes from the Galili, and from Dekapolis, (that is, the Ten-City
region), and from YeruShalem, and from Yhudah also beyond YorDan.
[02] And it came to pass that with the multitude pressing at him to hear the Word of Elohim, and he
himself standing by the Lake Gen-Netsaret, that is, Yam Kinnerot in the Garden Circle:
[03] He saw two vessels standing by the lake, and behold, the fishermen-sailors were gone out of them,
and were washing their nets.
[04] And he entered into one of the vessels, which was that of Shimon, and requested of him to launch
out a li.le from the land: and being seated, he taught the multitudes out of the vessel of Shimon.
[05] Moreover it was that seeing the multitudes he ascended into the mountain; and being seated in the
vessel of Shimon, his talmidim having drawn near, he opened his mouth and taught them.
[06] And when he opened his mouth the earth trembled, and the vessel of Shimon rocked, and the
waters rippled, and all the li.le hills skipped, and opening his mouth he said:
[07] Blessed are the beggars in the Spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
[08] Blessed are those that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
[09] Blessed are the humble: for they shall inherit the Land.
[10] Blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
[11] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
[12] Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see the Elohim.
[13] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of Elohim.
[14] Blessed are those that have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness: for theirs is the kingdom
of the heavens.
[15] Blessed are you when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and say all manner of evil against
you falsely for my sake.
[16] Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in the heavens, for likewise they
persecuted the Neviim that were before you.
[17] You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost its savor, how then shall it be resalted? it is no
more good for anything if not to be cast out and trampled by men.
[18] You are the Light of the Kosmos: a city stretched out upon a hill cannot be hidden.
[19] Neither do men light a lamp and put it under the basket, but on the menorah; and it radiates all that
are in the house.
[20] In the same way let your light radiate before men so that they may see your good works and glorify
your Father who is in the heavens.
[21] Think not that I am come to tear down the Torah or the Neviim: I came not to tear down but to fill
up to full enactment:
[22] Amen, for I say to you, Until the heavens and the earth pass away, not even one jot or one li.le horn
shall pass away from the Torah, until whenever all things are accomplished.
[23] Whosoever therefore shall loosen one of those commandments even in the least, and shall teach
men so, the same shall be called least in the kingdom of the heavens:
[24] But whosoever shall do them and shall teach them; the same shall be called great in the kingdom of
the heavens.
[25] For I say to you that if your righteousness does not exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and
Perushim; you shall in no way enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

[26] You have heard that it was said by the ancients, You shall not murder-kill, and whosoever shall
murder-kill shall be liable to the judgment.
[27] But I say to you that every one who is enraged with his brother shall be liable to the judgment:
[28] And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raka, (that is, empty, worthless), shall be liable to the
Sanhedrin, (of the Elohim), and whosoever shall say, You fool, shall be liable to the fire of GeHennom.
[29] If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has
something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way:
[30] First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
[31] Make amends with your adversary quickly while you are with him in the way; lest the adversary
deliver you up to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the jailer, and you be thrown into prison.
[32] Amen, I say to you, You shall by no means come out of there until you have paid the last quadrans.
[33] You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery: but I say to you that every one who
looks upon a woman, to lust after her, has already commi.ed adultery with her in his heart.
[34] If your right eye entices you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is be.er for you that
one of your members should perish and not that your whole body be cast into GeHennom.
[35] And if your right hand entices you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is be.er for you
that one of your members should perish and not that your whole body be cast into GeHennom.
[36] Moreover it was said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give to her a bill of divorce:
[37] But I say to you, that every one who puts away his wife, except for fornication, he makes her an
adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away commits adultery.
[38] Again, you have heard that it was said by the ancients, You shall not lie by an oath, and shall render
unto the Master what you have sworn:
[39] But I say to you, Swear not falsely at all, neither by the heavens, for it is the Throne of Elohim; nor
by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet; nor by YeruShalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
[40] Neither shall you swear falsely by your own head; for you cannot make one hair white or black.
[41] But let your word be, Yea, yea, Nay, nay, and whatever is in excess of these is of culpable mischief.
[42] You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
[43] But I say unto you, Resist not one that is evil: but to the one who smites you on the right cheek, turn
to him the other also.
[44] And anyone who would sue you, and take away your tunic, leave to him your cloak also.
[45] And anyone who compels you to go a mile; go with him two.
[46] Give to one who asks from you; and one that would borrow from you, do not turn away.
[47] You have heard that it was said, Love your fellow-neighbors and despise your enemy.
[48] But I say to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you:
[49] So that you may become sons of your Father who is in the heavens: for He makes His Sun to rise
upon the evil and the good, and He sends rain upon the righteous and the unrighteous:
[50] For if you love them that love you, what reward have you? do not the tax collectors do the same?
[51] And if you salute only your brethren, what do you do more than others? do not also the heathen do
the same? In due course you shall therefore be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
[52] Take heed that you do not do your upright things before men to be seen of them: for if so, no doubt,
you will have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens.
[53] When therefore you do compassionate things do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites
do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men:
