It is also an avenue by which you can communicate with Him whom you ahve a committed relationship with. Reading the Bible is not an easy step to take! Fear can hold us back from reading scripture, for me it's scary to see the people who seem in their word and how they end up. But true faith will not have you end up dirty and harsh, instead it will make you loving and clean like the one you have committed to.
