April 13, 2016  Hello Woodfield!    Spring is in the air and summer is just around the corner, and here in  Woodfield summer means music, neighbours and fun! For the past 2  summers, some Woodfield residents have put together a front porch concert  for friends and neighbours and this year the events will be even better.    We have joined together to create the ​ Woodfield Community Porch Concert  Series​ , and are supported by a SPARKS! grant from the City of London to  help bring more beautiful music into our neighbourhood! Would you like to  host some music on your front porch? Would you like to volunteer to help out?  Are you a Woodfield musician? We would love to hear from YOU!    We are planning to do a number of shows during the month of June, at  various porches throughout our beautiful neighbourhood and are looking for  venues. If you would be interested in working with us to bring music to your  front lawn, please let us know. We are funded to supply the musicians and the  sound system, and you provide the space. Neighbours bring blankets and  lawn chairs, and our volunteers will setup and cleanup. The events are family  friendly and end before 11pm. We have generally held concerts on Thursday  evenings after supper, but if you have other ideas we would love to discuss  them with you.    Please email us at ​ woodfieldporchconcerts@gmail.com​  for more information!  You can also check out more photos from previous years at  http://www.facebook.com/woodfieldporchconcerts​ !     See you on the lawn in ​ June 2016​ !    Proudly supported by:
