CRITICAL UPDATE ON PROTEST!!!
This information is to help you make an informed decision about whether to attend this protest.
You will also need the information on meeting place and parking availability.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING PLANS TO ATTEND
You MUST text the word DONE to 41242 to be included in our group and to help us spread
updates on parking, actions during the protest and and safety information we can provide.
PLEASE NOTE-This is a PEACEFUL protest.
Under NO circumstances should ANY I AM DONE protest participant approach or enter the
church. The church is private property and you may risk arrest if you do not follow these
directions.
Aggressive behavior, loud and threatening language or violence of ANY KIND is NOT allowed.
WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Please wear something cool and comfortable. Shirts or other attire expressing profanity or hateful
language are NOT allowed.
We will have a few signs on hand. Feel free to bring your own. Fellow organizers at the
Sacramento protest report that signs with messages about love were the most effective. PLEASE
bring signs that do not incite argument or hate. For this protest we need to be all about love.

While we share your outrage over the hateful rhetoric spewing from this group, our experience
and information from similar protests around the country tells us that in this particular case we
must conduct a peaceful and non-confrontational protest.
This “church” is located in a tiny and complicated area where parking is very limited and in a
small city where we cannot guarantee police protection.
The congregation is very small and we will likely outnumber them. Therefore, it is critical that
we do nothing to make them feel threatened. We are there to register our outrage and disgust but
can do so without being unruly and angry.
We want to conduct a successful protest where nothing occurs that would jeopardize the strength
of our statement that WE ARE DONE with this kind of hate speech.
REMEMBERThis is Texas, where the laws governing the open and concealed carry of weapons are very lax.
There is a HIGH probability that members of this small congregation will be carrying weapons.
IF THAT MAKES YOU UNCOMFORTABLE IN ANY WAY, PLEASE DO NOT PLAN TO
ATTEND.
