Y2W is a small for-profit business established as a limited liability
corporation. Revenue will be raised through retail/e-commerce
merchandise sales, memberships, sponsorships, donation
solicitation, advertising/promoting new artists and fundraising events.
Y2W products and services include merchandise, event planning
memberships, new artist promotion and advertising. As a benefit to

is to get supporters energized and excited about celebrating
change in a nonviolent/non-extremist delivery. We want our
supporters to act now and let others know that not only do
they seek change but when the time comes for all of us to say
Amen for the power of the 22nd Amendment of the
constitution and when President Bush is sent packing the
world is going to celebrate this joyous and historical occasion!

Remember 1999, and those much better days of peace and
prosperity? On the eve of the of the new millennium America was
the beneficiary of eight consecutive years of bold democratic
leadership by our President William Jefferson Clinton providing us
with much to celebrate as we toasted to a new century with hopes
that the upcoming Gore administration would further complete our
transition forward, building even stronger bridges in the path to a
brighter future.
On the very dawn of this new millennium we were hit hard with
disaster branded “W”. Fast forward 10 years. It's now 2009. A vast
majority of Americans so clearly realize that the dreams and hopes
of yesteryear are so less bright, much fainter, than at any time any
of us can remember. Who do we have to thank for this near
decade of misguided, detrimental policies that have left so many in
this nation worse off today than yesterday? Of course, it's “W”
In this historic election year, we have much to
be excited about in the race to the future and
our hopes and dreams realized. So, it's time to
celebrate as we prepare to embark on
CHANGE. To mark this transition from "W" to an
OBAMA administration, Y2W is recreating the
toast to welcome in the REAL New Millennium.
After 8 years of delay, Y2W: 01·20·09 is the
day when the clock restarts to a brighter
(blazing, in fact) future.
Y2W is working to organize an event to celebrate 01·20·09 during
the Inauguration of Barack Obama in Washington, D.C. While
most inaugural events are the stereotypical "stuffy" black tie
events, the Y2W CELEBRATE CHANGE EVENT will be for “the
people” the average voter - who wants to mark this amazing
transition, welcoming in the start of a new era!
Join Y2W as we recreate the countdown to the REAL New
Millennium on the eve of Y2W: 01·20·09. Come countdown and
shout out those last 10 seconds on the clock till midnight and
celebrate a new day and brighter future. Little did Prince know we
would party like its “1999” in 2009.
Y2W is designed to be the HUB for celebrating CHANGE on
01·20·09. Additionally, Y2W will be creating a feature on the site
tracking celebrations worldwide. For voters that can’t attend the
concert on 01·19·09, Y2W will provide the tools for supporters to
organize their own event as celebrations will be held around the
world. Y2W IS THE OUTLET TO CELEBRATE CHANGE!

Y2W mission is outlined below:
•Increase voter registration as well as votes for Barack

• Support our troops by raising and donating

Y2W is a small for-profit business established as a limited liability
corporation. Revenue will be raised through retail/e-commerce
merchandise sales, memberships, sponsorships, donation solicitation,
advertising/promoting new artists, and events. Other elements that
comprise Y2W are non-profit political activism and fundraising.

The Y2W concept was conceived on the back of a cocktail napkin
after a humorous, yet serious, conversation among friends about the
Bush Administration at a Washington, D.C., bar. Y2W has since
expanded from the simple countdown concept into a bona fide
organization that includes: Community outreach/fundraising, site to
promote new talent, educational/informational portal and resource for
the ‘08 election as well as a venue to promote voter registration,
social networking, political activism and celebration event.

As a benefit to our sponsors, Y2W will strive to provide the highest
level of customer service standards as well as respect and uphold the
reputation and values of our investors and backers.

Products and services
During the next phase of Y2W (Fall 2008) we will begin aggressively
rolling out an extensive product line for supporters to select from and

Vision for Y2W
To honor 01·20·09 local Washingtonian Michael Mayhew, a single
father, son of a Vietnam War veteran, and former U.S. Executive
Director Assistant to the World Bank, has launched the “bipartisan”
grassroots Y2W campaign countdown to celebrate change.
Mayhew hopes to foster and build a positive outlet for celebrating
change linking the entertainment industry to likeminded political
enthusiasts waiting for W’s departure. Together, he believes, we
can promote positive change, raise money for moral causes and
have a little fun standing side-by-side in celebrating change on
01·20·09. With the help and support of our supporters and sponsors
Y2W will be one step closer in making this vision a reality.
Additionally, Mayhew is a strong advocate for supporting and
honoring the service of or men in women protecting our Nation.
Along with celebrating change, Mayhew will be raising money to
assist our troops/veterans that have been severely impacted by the
wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

About the Founder - Work Experience
Y2W organizer Michael Mayhew possesses over 23 years of public

over 10,000 employees has allowed Mayhew to become highly
organized with a clear understanding on how to manage multiple
events simultaneously under high stress while meeting deadlines
and emphasizing particular focus on details.

Y2W Supports

The most important mechanism of Y2W is the Web site, as it is an
excellent source of exposure for our sponsors as well as the
ultimate resource for supporters. Our goal is to utilize this vehicle to
lure supporters and increase viewership by developing and delivering
creative interactive themes and concepts, contests, and be a major
resource for information during the 2008 General Election.

The goal of the Y2W supports is to raise funds and awareness for
moral causes. Y2W believes we will promote a positive and powerful
image by placing aside all political differences by joining together in a
bipartisan effort to promote positive change.

Over the 2008 Memorial Day weekend, Y2W received over 4,000 hits
within 48 hours at the World news site iconflict.com, and Y2W’s 4th of
July promo reached an estimated 10,000 people. Traffic to the Y2W
site will rise far above and beyond all expectations as we head into
the fall election season. Additionally, Y2W will receive a phenomenal
amount of exposure being linked from Obama campaign Web site.
The goal is to get over 5 million hits on the site.
As of August 2008, Y2W has reached well over 25,000 supporters
through word-of-mouth support and zero dollars spent on advertising.

• Locally based charity and advocate groups: Even though DC
is the most powerful and influential city in the world, it’s a hotbed
for those in need. Y2W will also ally with local advocacy groups
• Celebrity/Public figures based charities: Those that seek to
protect the environment and strive for energy independence as
well as education, health care and children in need
• Supporting our troops: Y2W supports our troops, but not the
Bush Administration’s actions. Y2W is a strong advocate for
supporting and honoring the service of our men and women
serving our Nation. Looking beyond 01·20·09, Y2W will look to
expand on this theme of supporting our troops by forming alliances
to organize a charitable effort to mobilize Americans for an event to
celebrate and honor our Nation’s heroes. Additionally, Y2W will
look to organize a golf tournament to raise funds in support of
troops highlighting W’s most honorable contribution to our troops
by not golfing while the troops are in Iraq

Merchandise sales: Y2W is providing our supporters with an
added bonus for shopping at our online store - supporters will
not only show their support for Y2W but they will also provide
additional support to some very worthy causes. Y2W will make
contributions to support our troops focusing on organizations
that provide assistance to troops who have been severely
injured during the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan



Series of fundraising events: Y2W will host a series of
fundraising events to raise revenue for our favorite causes by
holding auctions and raffling off prizes



Donation with sponsorship: Y2W has structured our
sponsorship packages to include a donation with each level of
sponsorship. Your sponsorship of Y2W will not only provide us
with the revenue to fund projects and staffing, but Y2W will also
make a donation on behalf your company/organization.
Sponsors will have the option to select which charity they want
to support, and allocate how contributions are disbursed

strategy allowing our sponsors to get an in-depth look at the methods
behind promoting the project and how we intend to execute our action
plans. Y2W will endeavor to provide sponsors with a level of exposure
value to commensurate with the value of your investment. Y2W has the
means in place to quantify exposure value for our sponsors as a

Events/Promotional Opportunities
Y2W will host a special VIP function for sponsors as a thank you gesture for your support.
A strong promotions strategy has been developed to assist in effectively gaining momentum for our
cause utilizing the following methods: organizing socials and group activities, handouts at protests,
posting fliers on cars, reaching out to local bands/DJ’s and radio personalities. Additionally, by
making our presence at local DC metropolitan area events relevant to our cause to include:
concerts, festivals, comedy shows, conventions, local campuses, local bars and night clubs,
plays/performances, rallies as well as nationally on the campaign trail, through the LGBT community
and liberal universities.
Y2W has built and will continue to expand our extensive list of promotional opportunities within the
DC metropolitan area derived from news publications/print ads, blogs, activists/activists groups,
volunteers, DC convention center/arenas and BarackObama.com. Y2W will utilize volunteers for
events solicited through bulletins in major cities nationwide to help spread our message.
