AIRPORT PICK-UP
Upon arrival at the airport, the hotel van was already waiting for us and
introduced himself with a genuine smile. While driving, he gave us a little
background about Puerto Princesa, about the rules and strict implementation
of the “anti-littering law”, and some tips on which places we should visit
during our stay. I was truly amazed to see the clean and green surrounding.

CHECK – IN
As we walked inside the hotel, I saw a big tarp of Club Astoria at the
entrance of the lobby. The check-in staff gave us a warm welcome and within
a few minutes we were being guided to our hotel room. Although the
complimentary room that was given to us looks plain and simple, it was neat
and clean, cool AC and the space is just enough for the three of us (me, my
hubby and 6yrs old son). However, the TV is so small and the reception is not
clear. Nevertheless, we were able to sleep well since the place is very
peaceful and quite despite the fact that Legend Hotel is located at the heart
of the City.

SALO BAR & RESTAURANT
After we checked-in, it was almost 6:30pm and we were all hungry. So we
decided to have dinner at “Salo Bar and Restaurant” located upstairs just one
floor away above our room. It is open from 6PM-2AM. The resto bar had a
great ambiance, very spacious, unique bamboo interior design and it plays
relaxing music. While waiting for our orders to be served, we had fun taking
pictures and the attendants were very accommodating, one of them even
volunteered to take our picture. I was impressed because my son who is a
picky eater loved their buttered chicken and Tinolang Isda Tagalog Style! The
food was great and the prices are reasonable.

BREAKFAST AT TANGLAW RESTAURANT
What a great way to start the day, having breakfast at Tanglaw restaurant! I
love the cozy ambiance, the food attendants were very professional looking
with their green barong attire, and the service was very good. The restaurant
is open every day at 5:30AM and you can choose either American or Filipino
breakfast. Aside from being served with a plated meal, you can also choose
different cereals, breads, jam, cheese, fruit juice, flavored water, fresh milk,
hot chocolate or coffee from the buffet table. You may also request an egg
menu of your choice (sunny side up or scrambled egg). Oh so yummy!

WE HAD A GREAT STAY!
Although we spent most of our time on island hopping, outdoor adventure
and city tours during our stay in Palawan, Legend Palawan have provided us
a place to relax and unwind after our great adventure during the day. All
representatives were polite, helpful, and pleasant to speak with. I would like
to thank each and every one of especially the driver who picked us up at the
airport (opps I forgot his name!), the housekeeping staff who gave us a clean
towel when we requested for an additional, for the food attendants at Salo
and Tanglaw restaurant, the reception staff, for your superior guest services
and for making us all feel welcome. Your true hospitality was a class act. You
exude exceptional level, KEEP IT UP! We hope to see you all again.
