TRICK OR TREAT?
At The Private School in Toronto the preparations for Halloween are well under way! Students
and instructors have been preparing an enjoyable and "terrifying" afternoon for the Halloween
school social event that will happen on Thursday, October 31st, after the pizza lunch.
Our students in Grades 1 to 4, will be the first group of students to participate in the activities

A few of the activities organized are the Yearly Costume Runway Contest, the pupils Pumpkin
Carving and the Halloween Cake Decorating Competition, just to discuss a few. Students from
each course are kindly asked to bring candies, frosting and edible Halloween decorations, and to
think about a design in order to create the very best or scariest looking pumpkin.
Students are advised that Thursday is a gown down day which they must bring their costumes to

All of our students shown up in the morning with their Halloween costumes in their bags, awaiting
classes and lunch to be over in order to put their costumes on and to participate in the activities

skeletal systems, ghosts and so many more interesting characters parading.
Our youngest students in Kindergarten had arranged their own celebration and enjoyable
activities for the day. Our students from Grades 1 to 4 were the very first ones to hold their party
in the gym, followed by the students in Grades 5 to 8 who then had their turn.
A huge thank you goes out to Ms. Olga, Ms. Brenda, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Jaclyn and Ms. Patricia for
organizing this event, and to all the students and teachers who helped with the celebrations.
