What is a personal brand?  
You already have a personal brand whether you buy into this
thinking or not.
Your personal brand is a combination of your image and
reputation. How you present and conduct yourself daily forms
the foundation for your brand. Others impact your personal
brand too, through their speech and actions.

Do you think you have a credible personal brand?
Ask yourself these questions:
� Do people have a clear understanding of what you do and
the value it brings?
� What words, concepts, and ideas do people associate with
your name and image?
What is personal branding?
Personal branding is the process of developing a strategy
and actions to guide your brand.
Your brand is working 24 hours a day; make sure it is
communicating what you want it to. 

DAY 1 ­ What is your target market??  
Before building your brand you must first determine what
your target market is. Branding to millennials will look much
different than branding to seniors or a professional audience.
Here's some things to consider when building your ideal
customer avatar but first of all what exactly is a customer
avatar?
A customer avatar is a fictional character that represents your
ideal prospect. When complete, it will help you understand
the motivating beliefs, fears and secret desires
that influence your customer's buying decisions.
Your customer avatar will help you fine tune your marketing
efforts and help you understand why some products sell
better than others. It also helps expose important gaps or
conflicts in your marketing messages of which you may be
unaware.
This one exercise can lead to a dramatic transformation your
business.
If you sell to businesses, include what industry your
customers are in, how many employees they have, how
much annual revenue they generate, etc. If you sell to
consumers or end users, include relevant demographic
information such as age,education, household income and
family status.
