A Concerned Citizen's Opinion on Health
Care Reform
I'm not an authorized expert on healthcare or medical health insurance. I'm not political.
I'm not a physician. However I am a united states Citizen, I purchase health insurance I
personally use healthcare. In line with the pricey of healthcare within this country, the
increasing costs of medical care insurance and also the suggested solutions which are
appearing out of our nation's capital (from each side from the aisle), I believe I'm because
a specialist on healthcare and medical health insurance as our politicians are.
The essential problems Americans are actually getting are with healthcare costs, not
medical health insurance. Exactly why is medical health insurance being controlled and
also the actual price of healthcare not addressed whatsoever?
The truth that a whole industry (insurance) continues to be produced to do something like
a substitute for reasonable healthcare costs should clearly indicate the actual concern is
the price of healthcare, and not the cost or accessibility to medical health insurance.
Furthermore, the truth that medical health insurance is really a multi-billion industry and
probably the most lucrative sectors within our economy would appear to point that there's
lots of money that Americans obtain that may go toward having to pay actual healthcare
costs-particularly if the costs themselves were more lined up and never so over inflated
(yeah, I understand the party line that doctors need to charge more due to medical tort-I'll
reach that).
But, without stepping into the financial aspects from the statement above, let us think that
we can not afford healthcare. If that's the situation, what's the cause?
Let us separate the issue into a double edged sword-, 1. Price of treatment and a pair of.
Price of drugs. Therefore we have two industries here, the Medical community and also
the Pharmaceutical industry.
Let us address the Medical Community. According to simple financial aspects it's
possible to deduce that most from the problem of medical price is dependent on demand
and supply. There aren't enough doctors to consider proper care of the populace, thus
doctors charge more since they can.

Based on an April 2010 article within the WSJ "Experts warn there will not be sufficient
doctors to deal with the huge numbers of people recently insured underneath the law
(Obama Care). At current graduation and training rates, the country could face lack of as
much as 150,000 within the next fifteen years, based on the Association of yankee
Medical Colleges..."
When the government is compelled to intervene within the nation's business with regard
to saving lives, a better governmental means to fix the care dilemma would be to create
programs that promote the building of more doctors and placing them where they're most
needed.
This may be a voluntary program for example having to pay for (very) qualified
individual's medical educations. These people would reach choose certain specialties (not
ones like plastic surgery) which were provided by this program guidelines and, upon
graduation, would need to "work off" their expenses by practicing in select areas where
these were most required for a finite time period. The facts of these a course would need
to be labored out, but because an answer it directly addresses most from the problem, i.e.,
lack of doctors - lack of as much as 150,000 doctors in in the future.
Within the duration of a couple of (for the most part) decades we're able to have
sufficient physicians not only to adequately look after the population, but enough doctors
that "demand and supplyInch will bring medical charges consistent with exactly what the
general population can afford. Some doctors might have to quit their Porsches' and limit
the amount of vacations they take, however they should not maintain that profession if
they're only money motivated anyway.
These are merely my ideas around the matter I have not heard these ideas intelligently
addressed by politician out of all endless droning regarding healthcare that's been
happening during the last 2 yrs. I understand there might be some gaps with what I have
written and there might be far better solutions than I rapidly jotted lower. But the purpose
of this really is that people (you) have to really hold our government's ft towards the fire
and never be sheep. We want our representatives to actually confront the problems, not
only glibly parrot speaking points that either do nothing at all or complicate matters.
