Software Development Intern, Summer 2010 – Created C# and Java applications to aid in
the creation of Translation Memory units. Developed programs that performed a variety of functions
such as file type conversion, data parsing, and database processing, which are still being used today.
Communicated daily with software architects to assure quality of development. Acted as translator between
coding team and non-technical colleagues.
AXA Financial, New York, NY
Intern, Fall 2009 – Called “Best intern we’ve had” by bosses. Responsible for expanding clientele. Used strong
interpersonal skills to approach prospective clients in order to set up meetings with a wealth management
consultant. Arranged over 25 meetings which resulted in 6 new clients. Aided with creation of those client’s
profiles.
King Asset Management, Palo Alto, CA
Intern, Summer 2009 – Performed cost accounting for tenant improvements. Categorized invoices and updated
actual to budget comparisons.
Maple Cheats, Los Gatos, CA
Co-Founder, Head Advertiser, Assistant Programmer, 2005-2007 – Created an online business known as Maple Cheats
which sold online videogame currency. Aided in initial coding and design. Advertised online, mainly through
forums. Managed site’s Google Adwords and Adsense account.
