Application for Admission

NESA invites all applicants who are considering careers in acupuncture and Oriental medicine to
become as informed as possible about the profession and the individuals who have chosen to practice this
healing art. The most thorough description of NESA is available on NESA’s web site www.nesa.edu or in
the catalogue. Visits to NESA and exposure to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are highly
recommended. Please call (617) 558-1788 x105 for more information.
The education of NESA students as healers is central to the school and each student has a considerable
effect on the life and learning of the academic acupuncture and Oriental medicine community as a whole.
The Admissions Committee looks for students who are motivated, open-minded, mature and who express
sensitivity and compassion with respect toward others. The master’s degree programs at NESA require
flexibility and commitment on the part of the student.
