CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS . A deposit of 35 % of the agreed fee rate, stated in this contract, is due at the time of signing and is non-refundable. The remaining balance, (65 %) is due 10 days prior to event. Overtime fees will be assessed as follows: $50.00 per half hour for any additional hours requested by the client after the date of this agreement. DJ Vicsauce reserves the right to decline request for overtime hours due to scheduling or circumstance. Gratuities given to the DJ Entertainer are at the sole discretion of the client. 10% is customary for an excellent performance. Payments may be made by PayPal (credit or debit) paid online to contact@djvicsauce.com or by cash/check/money order made payable to: Vic Matas. Returned check fee is $25.00 Cancellations may only be made in writing by either the client or by DJ Vicsauce. Cancellations or postponements (subject to availability) made by the client less than 10 days prior to the event date will be subject to a $50.00 penalty in addition to the non-refundable deposit. Provisions required for DJ Vicsauce to ensure an excellent performance are as follows: 1. The designated set-up area must be at least 15X15 ft. in size unless otherwise specified in the pricing section of this agreement. The set-up space must be on a flat level surface, and within 25 feet of a 15 amphere circuit (3 prong grounded) for audio and/or a reliable 20-amphere circuit (3 prong grounded) for lighting effects. 2. For outdoor events, shelter must be provided that completely covers and protects the set-up area from adverse weather conditions. 3. The facility must be open and ready for set-up at least 3 hours before scheduled start time. 4. The facility must be current on all licenses and permits applicable to the event. 5. Reasonable steps must be taken to protect the equipment and personnel of DJ Vicsauce,, including but not limited to security and child supervision. 6. The DJ Entertainer reserves the right to delay service in the event of any situation which implies threat of injury or harm to equipment or personnel until the threatening situation is resolved. The DJ further reserves the right to deny any guests access to recordings, or equipment. 7. In the unlikely event the DJ’s performance is delayed, liability is limited to providing the client 8.
