RULES
1st Round – 12 outs:
• Every swing is an out except a homerun
• 6 minute. time limit
• Point system: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; ball must be fair to
count
• Provide your own bat
• Must wear batting helmet
• Ages 13 and over, provide your own pitcher
(pitchers will be available at the event)
• Participates will be allowed to pay for multiple
rounds
• Top 3 scores, even if more than 3 players,
advance to finals

Final Round – 15 outs:
• Same rules as 1st Round except 15 outs
within 8 minute time limit
• Scores do not carry over,
everyone starts with 0
• Most points wins

GROUPINGS
*age of participant as of April 28th
Ages 6 and under: SOFTBALL FIELD
• Tee will be used and hit from 2nd base
• Points based on where the ball stops

Ages 13-14: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD

Ages 7-8: BOYS FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
• Pitching machine
• Points based on where the ball stops

Ages 17-18: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD

Ages 9-10: BOYS FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
• Pitching machine
• Points based on where the ball falls
Ages 11-12: BOYS FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
• Pitching machine
• Points based on where the ball falls

Ages 15-16: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD

Ages 19-23: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
Ages 24-29: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
Ages 30-39: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
Ages 40-49: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD & SOFTBALL FIELD
Ages 50 & older: HIGH SCHOOL FIELD &
SOFTBALL FIELD

I assume all risks associated with participating in this event
including but not limited to falls, contacts with other participants,
the effect of weather (including high heat and/or humidity), all
such risks know and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver
and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my
entry, I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive
and release Turtle Wing Foundation and all sponsors, their
representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any
kind arising out of my participation in the race and/or activities
even through liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness
on the part of the person named in this waiver. I grant permission
to all the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures,
recordings, or any record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
