All graduates of Silver Lake must demonstrate that they have done
forty (40) hours of Community Service by the time they graduate. Ten
(10) hours of service is recommended per year.
9 Community Service is work done without pay for someone outside
your immediate family.
9 Service can be in school or in the community but not during the
school day.
9 Ideas for service activities can be obtained from guidance,
administrators, or the Community Service/Discipline Specialist.
9 Community Service done for discipline may not be counted for
Community Service credit towards graduation.
9 Community Service must be reported on this form and given to
your guidance counselor.
