MINISTRY VISION
To serve as a worship pastor in a Bible-teaching, evangelical body of believers in order to fulfill my calling to the
Lord Jesus Christ. To serve in a church that does ministry with excellence to bring glory to God and further His
kingdom work. To serve alongside a ministry team of the highest caliber. To help and equip those with clear gifts
in music and the arts to find a place of service in the local church to fulfill their own call to Christ.
EXPERIENCE
Minister of Music and Worship, First Baptist Church, Brenham, Texas (2004–present)
Supervise the Worship and Music Ministry for all ages
Lead blended, contemporary and traditional worship services
Direct and lead the Worship Choir, Praise Team, Orchestra, vocal ensembles and instrumental ensembles
Supervise the Handbell Choir, FBC Children’s Choir, Senior Saints Choir and the Student Praise Band
Manage and supervise Audio, Video and TV Ministry teams

PERSONAL STATEMENT
Blessed with the heritage of a godly family, I came to know Christ at the age of 13. Since surrendering to the call
of vocational ministry as a junior in college, I’ve come to know the beauty of the Body of Christ through the joys
and challenges of ministry. It is my desire to see the church rise up and be all that God intended. Jana and I are
passionate about equipping and encouraging believers as we build up the Body together to impact our community
and those who do not yet know Christ.
I desire to be a worship pastor who is first a worshiper and who spends time daily in the Word, prayer and
devotional study. I desire to bring glory to the Lord by serving the local church alongside my pastor and fellow
team members, investing my life in relationship with God’s people and building a worship and music ministry that
draws people into God’s presence. I desire that my abilities and talents be used to nurture a worship atmosphere
that is celebrative, fresh and genuine.
Worship is all about God and is our active response declaring Him worthy of all praise and adoration. Our
worship is not dependent on our personal preference or style. When the church truly seeks the Lord, He will be
found (Jeremiah 29:13), and the body of Christ will encounter a fresh and intimate worship experience. Worship
is also our lifestyle of obedience and devotion to Christ. When we worship the Lord with our daily lives, we
demonstrate and declare His power, love and salvation.
