2011
Donna Brimmer married Brandon Johnson (BS, Management ‘10) in Norfolk, Virginia, on Saturday,
May 4, 2013. Donna and Brandon were active members of Mason’s Greek community with Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. respectively. They were introduced by
friends at Mason’s Corner Pocket on February 5, 2008. Donna is an ER trauma nurse at Mary
Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and will be pursuing her Masters of Science in Nurse
Education at George Mason University beginning this fall. Brandon is a manager at Enterprise RentA-Car in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson plan to make their home in Stafford, Virginia.

 

  

Patricia Muench completed her Master’s in Elementary Education from Hofstra University in May.

Blake Silver completed his Master’s in History from the George Washington University in May.
Brenda Shepard participated in the Merrell Down & Dirty 5k for the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome
Foundation, raising $225 for the organization.

2012
Adam Sylvain will be headed to Santa Barbara, California, this month for a journalism internship
through November.
Kevin Loker began a new job with the American Press Institute as a Program Coordinator in June.
Joy Sheppard began a new job with Live Nation working with special events and sales in May.
 

  

Christina Lauderdale completed her first year of law school at the University of Maryland Francis King
Carey School of Law and will spend the summer working at the University of Maryland Center for
Health and Homeland Security.

2013
Daniel Zimmet has assumed a lead role assisting the College of Education and Human Development
form a new alumni chapter.
Tommy Lee began his two-year journey with the Peace Corps last month in Namaacha, Mozambique.
