circumcision drive sponsored by the Rotary Club
of Bacolod South was
held at the Brgy. Hall of Brgy. Suay, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on April 8, 2014.
Eight resident members of the
Order of Asclepius, together with
Dr. Chris Sorongon of Batch 27,
were present to cater to more
than a hundred patients. Members of the local health center and
the Rotary Club also assisted in
the giving of medications and
flow of the activity.
Starting at around 10am, the surgical mission lasted until 6 in the
evening, prompting the circumcision count to stop at 60 patients.

planned on April 23, 2014.
The present resident members
arrived at Bacolod City past 8pm
with aching backs and knees, but
with added experience hearts
warmed with selfless service.
The Order has a number of surgical missions and medical missions scheduled for this summer,
and everyone is invited to join.
The next activity will be another
surgical mission at Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City, with an estimated number of 200 patients.
