The Big Day—May 17!!
Goin’ To The Chapel

Some of you are staying at the

Holiday Inn Express, and some of you are taking over the Magnolia
House or the Sheridan Livery. We have arranged for vans to shuttle
guests from the Holiday Inn and Magnolia House to the wedding
and from the reception.
If you are staying at another motel or B&B, please let Mary know
by Friday (May 16) (mznatkin@gmail.com or 540 784-9569) so we can arrange to have you picked up.
Folks at the Sheridan can easily walk to and from events, but we can pick you up if needed—just let
Mary know. You also could leave your car at the Holiday Inn and grab the shuttle from there. We will
have sign-ups at the Holiday Inn front desk for shuttles, which will begin rounds at 3:45. Try to sign up
to help the drivers get everyone to campus by 4:45. There will be plenty of seats and the drivers will
keep shuttling until everyone gets there! Lexington is small, and the motels are not far from the campus,
but be warned that parking is always tight.

downloads/Map/Parking%20Map.pdf. The lot marked as #6 is the lot behind the chapel and the closest
to the wedding. There is also street parking, but it tends to stay full, especially when students are still on
campus (which they will be).

The wedding is scheduled for 5pm
Immediately after the ceremony, we ask that
all of you line up on the semicircular stairs
in front of the chapel so we can get a few
group photos. As soon as you’ve said “cheese,”
you will walk down the path

to hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at Evans Hall
(look for the lanterns for the entrance).

Food , Glorious Food

Everyone will mix and mingle and nosh
until the bridal party gets to Evans Hall

around 7. Dinner will be set up in stations,
and we expect to open those at 7:30.

Bring Your Dancing Shoes

We hope everyone will enjoy visiting with old and new friends,
dancing and having fun until the happy couple departs

around 10:45, when we will send them off in a shower of

rose petals. Shuttles will be available at any time during dinner
and the reception if you are ready to leave. Before 9:30 p.m,
just find Carolyn Tolley (our coordinator extraordinaire) or the
Alan Devers (the DJ) and they will call the drivers to come get
you. Both shuttles will be back at Evans around 9:30 and will
make continuous loops to get folks back to their beds.

Sunday Morning

We hope anyone who wishes to continue visiting will meet
up for breakfast on Sunday morning. Stay tuned for more
information on who’s meeting where and when.
