THE ASCLEPIAN VOICE

Roxas Hall was flocked by aspiring
heroes today as the Order of
Asclepius held the Blood For Glory 4,
a blood drive campaign partnered
with the Philippine Red Cross.
This is the fourth Blood For Glory
held by the Order, with the aim of
raising awareness among the masses
about the need for blood in health
care settings and the value of saving
a life through blood donation.
Having started as an inter-college
blood drive in 2012, the Blood For
Glory is now one of the crusades of
the Order of Asclepius in their efforts
in serving the community.
The members were overwhelmed by
the support shown by the donors,
majority of whom were composed of
medical students. At the successful
close of the activity, the recorded
total was 52 registrants and 33 units
of blood collected:
Type O—11
Type A—12
Type B—5
Type AB—5
The Order hopes to hold succeeding
blood drives at least every three
months in the future. For inquiries on
how to support this aspiration,
please contact GLA Angeli Nicole
Portigo at 09285024601 or JMA
Argee Alonsabe at 09222900634 for
more information. Our official
account number is: 1333308408.
Thank you!
A healthy person is able to donate
blood every 3 months, so we are
encouraging everyone to help save
lives… donate blood! #
