Notice of the Annual General Meeting of the
Caboolture Sports Cricket Club for 2015
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the
Caboolture Sports Cricket Club will be held at 6.00 pm at the
Centenary Lakes Sports and Function Centre on the 18th of April 2015.
All Management Committee position will be declared vacant and
nominations for the positions of;
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Senior Coordinator,
Junior Coordinator, Caboolture Sports Club Delegate.
All nominations must be with the Secretary no later than close of
business on the 11th of April 2015.

Every financial member may have 1 proxy vote, these forms are also
available by email at sngp@bigpond.com
Notice of Motion: Moved Steve Adams “That Bob Allen be awarded
Life Membership for 10 years service to the club as an official“
seconded by Ben Steinhardt.
Background.
Bob Allen began his service to the club as a parent who volunteered to
be Manager of his son’s junior team, He soon put his hand up to be the
club’s Junior Coordinator a role that he carried out with distinction.
Bob has also served as Vice President a role that again he has carried
out with distinction for the last 5 seasons. When a vacancy arose in the

Finance Department and a replacement couldn’t be found Bob once
again put up his hand and took on a dual role as Vice President and
Treasurer. He has been a hard worker for this club, juggling the two
portfolios with the cleaning duties at the club as well, every Friday,
Saturday and Sunday Bob and his son Simon will be found balancing
and banking the weekend takings, cleaning the toilet facilities and
canteen, restocking the refrigerators, dumping the rubbish and all the
time without the notice of any of the members. Every game day for the
past 4 years Bob and Simon are at the grounds at 7am to help set the
fields up and make sure everything is in place for the clubs members to
play cricket, again without fuss or concern that his valuable recreation
time is helping out others. Bob Allen is a true volunteer and a loyal
servant of this great club and most of all a worthy recipient of the
coveted award of Life Membership.
