I have spent recent years building GUIs and engineering
graphics systems for BMS companies. This includes floor
3D views, floorplans, sitemaps, technical drawings and
mechanical diagrams. The graphics feed back to a
remote terminal for monitoring and control. These

A little bit about me…

exterior designs

I grew up with family around me who were sign-writers,
graphic designers and portrait painters. The first
computer in the house was a Mac when they were in black
and white! I’ve been using Mac design and layout utilities
from an early age and this has given me a very keen eye
for design and digital image in many different areas.
I am not tied to one discipline and having this wide skill
set at my disposal allows me to solve problems easily.
I have strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp and
Kerkythea. I am a rapid learner and will pick up any
graphics/layout package in no time at all.

Set Design and Carpentry
I have spent many years working as a set designer and
carpenter for television. Having worked in the trade has
allowed me to bring incredible accuracy to my design
which in turn eases the process of fabrication.

I studied film at university where I learned about the mise-en-scène and

stunning results.

have applied it to every pixel of my work thereafter. My hunt for perfection
in the digital image is never ending. I love photography and use it like a
whetstone to sharpen myself in all areas of my graphical work.

Food Photography
I practice food photography as a hobby. 

It is one of the hardest disciplines as so
many factors have to be perfect - styling,
placement, lighting, colour, texture, post
process etc. It is excellent practice.
