Zero-K Newbie Guide

Preface:
This guide is designed to give new players a feel for the controls and mechanics
of the game. You do not have to go by this, it is simply a handrail into the game.

1.1 Downloading the lobby If you have downloaded this game from Steam, you can skip this section.
To download the lobby go to http://zero-k.info/Wiki/Download and click on the
appropriate system download link. Once you have downloaded the files, follow
the appropriate steps on the page.

When you first open the lobby you might see a bar at the bottom that says
Downloading Zero-K 1.x.x.x (X's replaced with numbers). This will be the
lobby autodownloading the game.
1.2 Navigating the lobby (This section will be updated as needed to accommodate changes)

Once you open the lobby, you will need to sign up for a account. Simply enter a
password and user name in the “Register” box that opens. Once you do that,
click on “Home” and something like this should appear:

On this page, you can see your account info such as your ELO (Ranking),
Commands (Which will be covered later), And recent forum posts. Once you
finish looking around, click on multiplayer.

2.1 Opening a game

When you click on multiplayer you will see something like this:

Click on “Open a new battle”
