Boosted Project Content Checklist

Handy Boosted Project Content Checklist! This checklist is to make sure you have all the digital ‘bits’ you need to set up your Boosted project. Be sure to talk to our staff about any queries. ❏ Hero Image - This will display at the top of your project page, on the explore project page and will be the image shared through social media if you use your Boosted projects URL. Boosted loves landscape images - the "ideal" size is 1400 x 650 pixels. Don't know what a pixel is? Aim for about 14cm x 6.5cm. Your hero image can be up to 2MB. You can have a second image that sits behind the first as well. It has all the same specs as the hero image. ❏ Short Description This is one or two sentences which will sit under your hero image on the explore project page and will be the image shared through social media if you use your Boosted projects URL. ❏ Long Description This will be on your Boosted project page and will include the information on what your project is, why donors will love it, and the ‘ask’ for donations. ❏ Video - The video isn’t a must but can show your crowd who you are and be a more personal way to tell your story. It should be no longer than one to two minutes. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Phone or computer recordings can introduce your project and invite your donors in without costing a cent! When adding your video from Vimeo or YouTube remember to use the EMBED code (starting with <iframe) rather than the URL (starting with HTTP:) ❏ Your Profile Description This is a few sentences, paragraph or stories about you, the project owner. You can include links to other sites, just don’t forget to hyperlink them! ❏ Your Profile Image This will display at the top of your profile page and at the bottom of your project page. It’s great to show your crowd who you are and draw them closer to your project. Boosted loves landscape images - the "ideal" size is 1400 x 650 pixels. Don't know what a pixel is?
