CTO Post BookBuses

11/16/2015 CTO & Co-Founder at BookBuses.com BookBuses.com looking for a new CTO and co-founder. BookBuses.com is a platform for the US market that matches charter bus companies with customers, ala. Rental & Booking.com. Market US charter bus market ~ $ 13 billion annually. Not undergone digitalization yet. In general, no significant competition. Current site Current site is beta built in PHP, been live for 2 months. In that time we have achieved a turnover of + $ 30,000 (all operations have been manually). Meanwhile, our now ex-CTO built a scalable automated instant pricing platform in Ruby on Rails. Our ex-CTO however felt that BookBuses wasn't 100% right for him, so we're looking for a really skilled programmer who can take over and join our adventure as a co-founder. Terms If we find a good CTO, we have seed investors ready to put + $ 200,000 in investments. We are also in the final rounds of the US accelerator programs, "500 Startups" (California) and "Tech Stars" (Boston). Both will be $ 125,000 for 5-8% equity (i.e. valuation ~ $ 2 million). So, we offer both equity and salary (as soon as we seed) for the right candidate. In addition, the company covers all visa costs the United States when they will join the company in New York (+ diet & Accommodation in NY). Team The team has experience from A. T. Kearney, Groupon, Light Bank, founding and exits from previous startups. Profile We're looking for a full stack programmer. PHP or RoR (preferred). An alternative third option has to be built up from scratch. HTML & CSS. Leadership skills for future scaling of the business.
